that's what i mean by they don't get the line moves. contrary to popular opinion only a handful of places move off of the money. when "moves" happen the line services pass on the info and it is all over the country in 15 minutes. there are a lot of sharp guys that will bet huge dough shooting for middles if someone doesn't adjust. several small books have been broken, because of guys like this. almost all line movement is based of of "computer boy plays"
and the vegas and caribean casinos know who they are and adjust quickly. caliente does not. example about 7 years ago---temple and ok state are playing a game at a holiday tourney before new years. ok st opens at -3.5--computer boy move pushes the line to 6---caliente sits on 3.5. now i work in the sports gaming field and deal with this stuff on a daily basis--not trying to insult anyones intelligence or anything--just saying caliente is not to sophisticated.
