Redongdo,

If you really wanted to know:

The loser lawyer (Harland?) did really well in every court sequence (impressing Eugene and Jimmy-who IMHO I think relates to the loser.) But it still doesn't look great for the cancer girl's case because of HER testimony (where she admitted to having a couple of drinks at a sleep-over party, which could fuck up her liver).

Back at Practice HQ, Bobby Donnell recommends to take any settlement offered because this Harland guy can fuck up a wet dream. (HE didn't really say that, but that was the idea).

Back in the court room, a hyper-ventilating Harland wanted Eugene to do the summary, and Eugene told him "no way, you do it". So he did and did a really good job.

Immediately after the summaries, the drug company lawyer offers a settlement of $400k. (which is the acceptance number that the lawyers had settled on). The Practice attorney's suggest that they take the money, but the girls parents say that Harland got them where they are and they want HIS opinion. He says let's go to jury.

Then, right before the jury announces their verdict, the drug comapny lawyer comes over to Harland (who is ALL fucked up with anxiety!) and whispers "okay, $600k" in his ear. He says "no".

Everybody has puckered sphincter as the jury reads the decision, which is:

Verdict is in favor of the girl...for $5.6 million.

Amazement, tears, happiness, admiration, thanks, hugs between Harland and Eugene.
Roll credits. "You stinka!" Old lady falls out of rocker.
