How about a 1977 Oldsmobile Starfire? I used to call it "the Belchfire". Or how about a Yugo?

Those things were SUCH pieces of shit, I'm sure there are no more running. However, if there were, they would only be worth about $5. So, if some dumbshit would actually steal such a car - he would be risking a GTA rap(or whatever it is called in Mexico) for $5! THAT would be complete stupidity. Car thieves have to have more brains than the run-of-the-mill criminal - I submit that they really do know a complete piece of shit, and will steer clear of it. There are certain cars that are virtually impervious to being stolen - even in Tijuana.

Oh - but here is another type of car that wouldn't last but a FEW DAYS parked on the street in TJ... any GM product with a 350 motor & Turbo350 tranny... that's cause 95% of the taxis run this combo in TJ. It would be stolen in a heartbeat!

My 1981 Ford F-250 has a 351M. Out of the thousands of taxis in TJ - there might be 3 or 4 of them running a Ford 351M engine. For this reason alone, the thing has a low probability of being ripped-off. Then throw in the facts that 1981 Ford trucks are pieces of garbage, and the thing looks like shit - it is virtually untouchable. I suppose they might rip it off just for the hood, fenders, and doors... so I should probably take a sledgehammer to them.
