Looks to me like we have many "masochists" here ( if, indeed, it causes them "pain") who like to delude themselves. That's okay...romance is entertainment and drama. Even on the shallow level that we interact with these putas, there is some magically unique relation created. Her lies to you are impossible to duplicate exactly with another fool.
