Okay...but remember...he's just reminding you to "take care of the room guys"...We are probably talking a "language barrier" here... One time one of my "favoritas" told me NOT to tip a guy because he kept pounding on the door after she told him to "get lost" after the half-hour time limit. They have their "marching orders" from management... If I've already paid, and the desk guy mentions something, I say "Ya pague propino..." (Ya Pah-Gay Pro-Pee-noh) (I already paid the tip (Propino))...Then I might go into my usual set of bizarre hand gestures to indicate that I've given those guys a buck... The room guys at the Hotel Coahuila have always been very helpful to me...but they won't be unless you ask...toilet paper, towels, soap, sheets, cleaning the floor (after a chica broke a bottle of liquid make-up all over it) ...you name it. And it REALLY helps if you speak Spanish... KRICO
