Nice report. A few comments: 1) I ate at Sanborn's near 4th too, and I also found the food not up to par. I had chicken enchiladas with this gloppy cheese that I later found out was goat cheese. Does anyone know if the larger Sanborn's near 7th-8th has better food? 2) The kids opening the taxi doors for you are everywhere. Usually, I ended up giving them a buck; they need it more than I do. 3) The girl with glasses at AB (if it's the same one) is named Evelyn. I spoke briefly with her when I was there, but never went up with her. She was very popular that night, however.
