Krico, You're obviously a very literate person with a nifty vocabulary and well read, but I don't see how you can for a second feel that any woman (or man for that matter) derives or derived any kind of pleasure from abuse. I don't claim to be a therapist or a big time college researcher but I have been around women who have a history of abuse from anyone and everyone from their Dads to their husbands and NONE OF THEM found pleasure in it. A lot of them get all screwed up from it to where they get involved in an industry that seems to continue and repeat those experiences....but to state something like they are looking to repeat "pleasurable experiences" is more offensive to me than Fargo and his perceived preying on underage girls. Like I said, I'm not a professional in any sense of the word but have worked and lived with a lot of females in various aspects of the sex industry. Part of the allure, IMNSHO, is the fact they are in control and in some weird way feel like less of a victim. They carry a lot of shame as well as feeling like they were wronged, in a lot of ways they feel guilt....like they were responsible for the stuff that happened to them. I really doubt many guys, let alone a bunch of dysfunctional clowns that have to resort to paying for female companionship to compensate for their inability to communicate with women (and that probably includes me), can truly empathize with what these women have gone through and are going through now. I don't want to flame you or anyone else (in the past I fell sucker to that trap) since the only part I see is what an individual chooses to post on a more or less anonymous internet board, and besides I'm certainly a whole lot less than perfect myself. But I can't help but feel a reflexsive need to say "Oh Bullshit" and "What a buncha sick deluded fucks" sometimes when I see some of the stuff posted. When I worked the doors in the niteclubs back in SF in the early-mid seventies the customer guys would often come out to "talk to the doorman" and I used to marvel at how idiotic they were....convinced they were something special and different to the girls, and just earlier in the day those same girls would come out and ask me to let them know if I spotted "those assholes" because they needed some money....often because they wanted to score some dope or something. Now that I've "jumped the fence" and I guess joined the ranks of "those assholes" the more I see and learn about the "trick mentality" the more I lose respect for most of you. The guys that keep it in perspective, that realize it really is a selfish act...that are just doing it for fun or because they have come to terms in themselves that they are either unable or too lazy to go through more "normal" channels to hook up with a woman....these guys I respect. They're honest to themselves and shoot straight. But to read some of the stuff you guys toss up here, you really believe you are some kind of superior being and that's just plain nuts. It's the Emperors New Clothes, you all reinforce each other into believing you're really wearing something. But hey, it's just my opinion and as someone once said "who needs truth if it's dull".
