Don't be so hard on yourself. I pay for women because it's the shortest, fastest route to get what I want, to wit: Sex and female companionship. Also, I've found over the years that I really don't get along with women that well. They are a little to sly for me to feel truly comfortable around. They are always workin' some angle for you to do somethin' for them. That's ALL women....straight broads, hookers, mothers, sisters, the little old lady next door... If "communication" were the key to gettin' pussy, I'd be screwin' prime stuff everyday, 'cause I can "communicate" like a sonofabitch. Sadly, and contrary to popular opinion, "communication" has little to do with relations between men and women, unless you mean Orwellian "double-speak" and hypnotic "speed trance induction"... In many ways, putas and putaneros are made for each other. I actually feel a sense of mastery and pleasure over the fact that I'm "beating the system", i.e. the "social system" that basically "prostitutes" women on a variety of levels...while forcing men to "pay for it" anyway, in time, money and a sense of responsibility. Nothin' wrong with those things, but they can and do take up a large portion of one's life. What's more efficient? For me to spend 500 to 1000 bucks a month on hookers...or for me to make a 4,000 dollar a month mortgage payment so that "Baby" won't "diss me" and leave me for an alpha-male? Also, just to clarify...I mentioned the "abuse-pleasure paradox" more as a question in my own mind rather than an established or accepted belief. Conventional wisdom is, in fact, on your side of the argument. Your "North Beach/Broadway" experiences would tend to reinforce your convictions on the matter. Those topless joints were even bigger "whorehouses" than the real thing, because some poor bastard would shell out big bucks to see some broad's boobs...and that would be IT! Just "Wow! I got to see some big tits!" followed by the remorse that comes with the knowledge that one was, in essence, conned. As Salvador Dali said:"Women make men act crazy..." Do they ever.... KRICO
