Wish TJ had left a better impression on you. I wouldn't at all worry about whether you got a 'bargain' for your $200 deal for getting extended time at your hotel with an Adelita girl. Getting them to your offsite hotel at ALL the first time you meet them can be difficult, and $200 is certainly not an outrageous amount. Sounds like you had a pretty good time with her, anyway. BTW, a chica making out with you at Adelita in the bar is a pretty good sign and not nearly as common as it is in some other TJ bars where chicas are more in it for the drink tickets than the hotel trips. Re: the TJ strip club scene... It's not my thing, but I have been to most of them. Sunday night would normally be a pretty slow night in those clubs, fri-sat are obviously much busier. I don't much go for blowing my precious Zona dollars on lapdances, but everything I have heard from friends that DO is that mileage (making out, hands roaming everwhere, breast feeding, etc.) is REAL good with TJ strippers in 'privados'. If you get a chance next time, perhaps you can give one a whirl. You quite accurately described what can be a harrowing walk through a maze to the bathrooms at Rio Rita/Club 69. It makes ME nervous, and I have been there a dozen times and feel completely at home in TJ. Of course having those scary ass dudes working the door doesn't at all help put me at ease. Anyway, thanks for the write-up.
