from the reviews, it seems that nothing much happens in Bogota itself. Is it true? Flying out of NY to Bogota on the 10th of Jan (until the 18th). First time in Colombia and no Spanish Any body wanna meetup/hang out or help me out? Should I plan a trip out to Medellin?

I'll be in MDE Feb 4-17 staying at both the mansion and the Sheraton Four Points. Hope to take a look at some of the apartment options for my longer stay in September.

As for the ladies, I hope to hit the casas hard, and partake in an occasional afternooner at the Mansion. At night I have a couple blind dates already lines up with non-pros met on Colombian Cupid.

I've been off the grid for almost a year, but will be returning to Colombia for my first trip to MDE March 6-15. Been to CTG, BOG and the coffee region so far.

I will be in Medellin By late May to June, I have no specific dates, yet. I went to Bogota this January and had a blast, although I hear Medellin is a whole lot better. I speak Spanish (fluent) and wouldn't mind hanging w/ a buddy who needs help in his spanish, so holler back !!!

I am planning my first trip to Columbia in the end of January. It will be my first time and am looking for some pointers and possibly a trip buddy. I wanted to see what anyone has to say about where to spend most of my time. I don't really care much for scenery or tourism im only interested in the location with the hottest girls are. Should I go to Cartagena, Medellin or Cali? Also where is a good place to stay ( Not looking for a hostel but not quite looking to spend and arm and a leg only 27 not rich yet like Im sure most of you are) I am also planning to have armed security with me for the trip and in talking to Jonesie he said that wouldn't be necessary.. Any thoughts? That would be awesome if someone here would be willing to go and meet me or it would be ideal for a Pro (CH Member) that lives in the area show me the ropes drinks are on me...Thanks in advance

Joseph: it's Colombia not Columbia. The hottest girls are basically found in Medellin. The best place to stay is the mansion - the guys there will be happy to help. Take notes from previous TRs and no, you don't need any security with you at all....just don't go into centro late at night. If you get robbed, just give them your cash...that's all they're interested in.

I usually stay in Laurelas. I take a few runs thru the casas, get numbers and invite them back.

I will be a virgin Medellin Mongerer as well. Im going to be there the first two weeks of February this should be crazy. I plan to stay at El Castillofor the first few nights but I booked a penthouse for the remainder of the trip. Im kind of a young guy (27) so I don't know how well I will get a long with a bunch of old phogies ;) (totally kidding) but am eager to learn their wisdom of this secluded little paradise. I am planning a trip to Cartegena and/or Medellin end of this month. I will be staying for roughly two weeks. Anyone else going to be around for rum and chasing chicas? I have been to Cartegena once, and my Spanish is a comedy to be watched. Nothing like Colombian women though.

Hey Guys, Myself and two buddies are travelling to Medellin from the 28th Jan to 1st Feb. I lived in Costa Rica for about six months but am back in US now. Speak some SPanish but my friends none. We were looking to stay at Castillo or Mansion. I heard if you are at Mansion not many girls willl come back with you. Is it the same at Castillo or is Castillo a little less known. El Castillo is right up your alley then.. Its much less known and looks like a motel. The mansion is known as a pure whore monger destination for any girl with half a head on her shoulder.
