I was at the Park last Friday and Saturday nights.

Friday was as packed as I'd ever seen it. There were probably about 30 gringos to about 15 chicas (most of the gringos leave after the show). Some of the most outstandingly attractive girls, like Vanessa, have been absent lately (business is overall down, the girls tell me), but some of the other pretty regulars (like Elizabeth, one of my favorites) are still there. Raquel is looking very, very pretty (she straightened her hair, and was wearing a pretty dress. I haven't been with her, so can't recommend her one way or another).

Saturday was dead. It seems that a lot of the tourists come into town and head out to the beach immediately. Unfortunately, there were also less girls, too, and some of the girls in the show were not the best lookers.

FYI, Bill has apparently asked the girls not to take gringos out of the hotel (i.e., if you want 'em, you have to get a room for a short time, instead of taking them back to your hotel).

The show continues to be outrageous, and everyone should go at least once. For my part, I've been there for about eight times. The girls are great, and you meet nice people (other gringos).

I still recommend (see my old Redsnake posts at http://www.redsnake.com/trip_messages/1149.html and http://www.redsnake.com/trip_messages/1038.html for details, and a description of the show) that taking a chica out of the Park for a night and treating her well will provide you with someone with a much better attitude than you'll find at say, the Blue Marlin. Of course now, to take them out of the hotel, you'll have to wait till 11:30PM, when the "shift" ends.

You have good taste. Vanessa, Elizabeth, and Raquel are also my favorites there. Elizabeth had been away for a while, visiting her family in Nicaragua, but is back in business now. Raquel and Vanessa also keep irregular schedules and haven't been in the bar as often lately as in the past. Vanessa came out to my house last night and we had a great time - actually, a really great time! In addition to being attractive, she also has a great personality and I enjoy spending time with her even when we aren't having sex. She and Raquel speak almost no English. Elizabeth's English isn't too bad.

No one has said anything to me about Bill asking the girls not to leave the bar with customers. He's tried this before. It's never worked, and it won't work this time. This is the girls' livelihood and none of them can afford to turn down business to sit around on a bar stool at the hotel. Certainly in the afternoons when I usually go there, this rule isn't being followed. Girls come and go all the time, with and without customers. The last time Bill tried this, I took four of the girls out to have dinner and see a movie. We just all walked out separately and met outside the door.

Oops! I made a mistake in my last post (written in early AM before the caffine kicked in and activated my braincells). It's not Vanessa who earns top marks on my favorita list, but Veronica.

I also haven't seen Vanessa, or her sister Wendy, at the hotel lately. I agree with Nononsense though - Vanessa is one of the more attractive girls working there. However, for some reason the chemistry between us has never really been right and she isn't high on my personal favorita list.

"sin condom" thing (which scares the hell out of me!) great report! I need desperately to save my pesos for a CR trip!

Actually, when I posted that message, I must have deleted a couple of words... the "sin condom" was for the oral only... I never forget the condom for the rest.

The show at the Park truely defies description and every monger needs to go at least once before he dies. There are some very pretty girls working at the Park now but the action has been unpredictable lately. Many of the best girls don't perform in the shows and some of them only come in when they feel like it or need rent money.

I had a great time there today. I stopped by about 11:30 AM. There were no customers except a couple of older guys who were guests at the hotel, and there was only one girl in the bar.

Fortunately, she happened to be Ruth - a new favorite of mine. I got a room and spent the next couple of hours alternating back and forth between sex, massage, cuddling and conversation. I wrote post last week describing her and won't repeat myself here but she's great - and really, really gorgeous. She's coming back to my place again tomorrow night for toda la noche.

It's a hard life down here, guys, but I guess somebody's got to do it and it might as well be me.

PS. Ruth says she's going to stick around and work for another three or four months, then move back to Nicaragua and find a nice local guy to marry. She's decided that Gringos will only break her heart. I wanted to tell her that she was wrong, and that if she met the right guy he'd treat he right and wouldn't throw her away after a few months or years, but I didn't have the heart to lie to her. She really is sweet and is sexy as hell!

Sunthief- Wish I could join you. Nononsense and I had a great time. Two points. If it is your first time, I would stay at the Hotel Del Rey at least for the first night or two, because it is safe and you do not have to take a cab or walk to your hotel with your "girlfriend" at night. It is more costly than the Presidente which I like too. The other reason is that you can walk downstairs to the bar and casino and check the action out 24/7. Get breakfast for 1000 C at the Casino 2 doors down and use the internet cafe at the end of the block. Opens at 10AM. It pays to have a buddy to drink and scout with.
The other thing is to take a cab to the Park Hotel for the Fri and Sat night shows and to try the Park Hotel bar for companionship. They are there during the day and at night and are 1/2 the price of the Blue Marlin women. Expect to pay 10000 Colonies for the girl and 3000 C for the room there. They have some interesting selections available. Ask for Elizabeth for a world class deep throat BJ.

Oh yeah, one question. I planned on bringing my laptop down so that I can copy my digital pictures there for storage, instead of using a regular camera. Any concerns as far as power and maybe if its safe to store in the room or not. I didn't know how big the safes in the room are. Id appreciate any input.

Sunthief, the room safes won't hold your laptop but I don't think you have anything to worry about. I always travel with mine. When I leave my room I put it in my suitcase and lock the suitcase. I've never had a problem, particularly at the Presidente. It's a very safe hotel. The power here is standard 115v with the same outlets we use in the States. If you want a dial-up connection through your room phone be sure to tell the hotel because not all hotel phones will work for computers. I'm not sure of my schedule this weekend but I'll e-mail you about trying to arrange a meeting.

I will be in San Jose from June 9 - June 14. I'll be staying at the Hotel del Rey for two nights and then at the Hotel Presidente for the rest of my stay. BTW, it's my first trip to CR.

While doing a bit of web surfing and looking for Internet Cafe's in San Jose, I saw a political ad saying that elections were being held on Sunday, June 10th.

Don't they close bars for a couple days before elections? Okay, I know that Costa Rican democracy is at least a little more important than mongering, but damn I wish I had know this before I planned my trip!

What does a horny Gringo do in San Jose during election time? Will the show at the Park Hotel be going on on Saturday the 9th? That would be my only chance to catch it since I leave the next thursday.
