Walk out of Ab and head towards the taco farts.
Keep going that way cross the street and its on the next block.
You can see a lighted sign for it located on their hotel.

Come out of Adelitas and you are facing north. Make a 90 degree right turn(west) and go to the corner. Cross the street still going west and go one more block. You are there(La Tropa). South side of the street and just about another 50 feet from the corner Of Revolucion and Cohuilla(sp?).

If you can't find the place with those directions you deserve to be put in a mexican jail and never procreate

Not sure what you mean, but yeah its crazy how you can be on the beach on the east coast and the sun sets behind you and not into the ocean. Exception being if you are in Naples, FL or other Gulf of Mexico cities

Besides the Gulf Coast of Florida, you could be on the Outer Banks of NC, or the east side of the Chesapeake Bay, and see the sun set over the water. You could also be in Provincetown, Cape Cod... no, check that, no one from this board would want to go there. (at least I hope so)

Everyone...a few familiar faces from the La Tropa party last week are planning another Thursday trip tomorrow, 8/29. Let's keep an eye out for each other.

I plan to arrive around 5:30 and hit Adelita's for the variedad. After that I'll do the standard Calle Coahuila Crawl, looking for the usual suspects in Tropical, Las Chavelas, and La Tropa. If my favoritas are not in attendance I may do a 'plan B' at Azteca Massage. A sit-down meal at Restaurante Al Capone may be on the agenda as well. I'll be carrying/wearing a navy blue San Diego Chargers sweatshirt.

Tmackdo…good to meet you the other night, I enjoyed your company. For the first two years of my TJ experience (Feb/2000 to Feb/2002) I was very much a lone wolf. I would zip down to La Zona for an hour or three, take care of business and head home. But since the monger ‘convention’ in February 2002 I have been seeking out the company of other CH members while in TJ. The shared information is great; plus it’s just more fun than drinking alone. Nowadays, between the guys I have met at the parties and friends-of-friends, it is a rare visit to La Zona that I don’t run into at least one other Hombre.

I hope the party turned out OK on Friday. Earlier in the week I had committed to working late on Friday. Sure enough, I didn’t get home until 10pm. I could have made it to La Tropa by about 11pm, but couldn’t summon up the energy. There was less than 24-hours’ notice about the party in the chat section of the site, so I don’t imagine that the turnout was real big. But I hope you had a chance to meet a few more members.

Next time you plan to visit be sure and put a post in the Tijuana Trip Buddies thread. I am always looking for a good excuse to make a run for the border. Next time dinner is on me…Bosco

We have one seat left, leaving Las Vegas between 5-6 pm, returning very early evening Sunday. Taxibob is driving (should be at AB by 10pm, lol) and a Spanish tutor is onboard so far. The Spanish tutor is a first timer, so should make for an interesting Revo Crawl!
