I will be going down to C.R. on Friday 8/17 through Sunday 8/19. Will anyone else be down there? It's only two days, but hey. Actually, I just returned from there all of twelve days ago and can't wait to get back. It was my first trip down there since June of 2000 and I sessioned with seventeen girls in six days. All but two were from the Del Rey. I had one at Krysis and one from Key Largo (still love the live music there, even though the girl talent has dropped off dramatically there since my first trip down). Does anyone have any information on Elite? I know it is a '$20 glass of champagne-rip off the non-experienced gringo' kind of place, but I really liked it my last time down. I met a real beauty there and thought that I would meet her back at the Presidente one night, but I never showed. I don't know if she did. A good tip: Go there with a girl or two. The wait staff will not give you nearly as much pressure as normal and the drinks for the girls you bring with you are at normal price. I digress. My question is: Can you take out from there? Is there a bar fine? I am really unsure about how it works there with that but I am intent on getting a session with a beautiful Nica that I hung with at the club on my last trip. Going to SJ & the beach for my first time 9/22 thruough 9/29. Could use some help. At your suggestions, I'm staying at the Presidente. Can I buy Viagra w/out a prescript there? Near the hotel?

Hey Toddler. I know bill at the Park Hotel sells Viagra. Its about a 5minute cab ride from Presidente. Stop by Saturday at about 8:30, catch the show, and make your purchase if necessary.

Looking for real good looks, a non-pro attitude, AND English is probably a bit of a high order for 1 night 1day searching but I guess it could happen. I hear stories about these guys who grab whoever comes there way and go out for a week. A good number of disasters happen like this. I would at least want to have 1 session before I make a decision. hehe, So pick CAREFULLY on Sat. night. Maybe you can do one early night and one late night and take the best of the two? You could also ask people for recommendations. Strike up some conversation at the Marlin and ask someone his favorites. You can ask people here for their Park Hotel favorites but depending on your tatse you probably wont be knocked down by looks. Perhaps if you dont have a good vibe you can delay cut your beach trip short a day. A couple extra notches in your belt in SanJose isnt the worst thing in the world.

Im thinking getting 2 out of those 3 qualities shouldnt be a problem. Of course, very few want to sacrifise looks or attitude so guess what gets dropped? Well, practise that sign language. You still have a month, enough time to pick up some basic phrases. Think of all the phrases and words that would be helpful ( How, when, where, why, return, go, cost etc...) and look them up. Bring a little pocket translator or at least a Spanish English dictionary.

What beach are you going to?

Going to Playa Hermosa, in Guanacast. I was in Cebu, Philippines in March, and had a perfect GFE from a nonpro for a few days. This one spoke good english (they all do), was incredibly warm and personable, and ranked a solid 7 for looks. And I paid $30/day for 3 days. If it wasn't such a freakin' long trip and 12 hour time difference, I'd go back! Will see how CR compares.

The girl in one night, and you speak no Spanish, is a rough order. I would go with the Blue Marlin as your best bet. The girls tend to be a little more upscale here and there are a few more that speak English. Still developing a rapport that quickly and on Saturday night will be a challenge. I would look for a Dominicana, Colombiana, or Nica. A Tica is likely to have too many family ties to take off that quick. You might also consider talking with a cabbie. I believe fbla2 has posted the name of a good one. Also put a request for assitance on the CA message board. Some of the guys have contacts that they night be willing to share. Oh, where the heck is Guanacast ?

Go to http://www.costaricadiving.net/costa-rica-map.htm and you'll see a map. I think the red arrow is pointing at Playa Hermosa. TampaGringo gave me the address to a guide named Orlando. He's agreed to line up 2 or 3 for me to check out when I get there.

The guy at the scuba place on the coast said there was virtually no "action" around there, and I was well advised to bring my own or learn the language! Given those choices, it looks like i'll be taking what I can get!

Everyone has given you the right suggestions...it is difficult to find a GFE that quickly and with no Spanish...but it is not impossible!

You may even want to try an escort agency. Read the old reports...some are reliable.

My plans have changed this weekend and it looks like I will be in the same boat...except I need to find 3 girls...and have Thursday night and Friday morning to do so...I plan on using G&G escorts as well as some of the Blue Marlin girls that I know in order to find 3 girls for me and 2 other guys to spend the weekend in Quepos.

DEAR JOHN will be there 2/28/02-3/5/02, Continental damn near giving away tickets. Got mine (round trip, non stop) for $382 from Houston Intercontinental to San Jose. Just a week ago they were around $850-$900.

Due to shortage of vacation time, had to wait until after the first of the year.
