Sorry to hear about our friend from L.N. I guess it was bad timing for him to go to TJ. You know what? Your right about the selection during that time of year, As I remember correctly a past friend of ours told us that most chicas leave before Christmas so that they can spend it with family and dont return until after January.
BUT guess what? I'll be down Dec. 6 with a few newbies and veterans so I'll get a chance to see whats it like.

Oakland's not out. But, I don't want to drive up there without a good scouting trip. One big "Old Gangster" drug us up to the city to a bar that had been closed for a year back in January.

Valentino, I hate to make predictions, especially this year, but right now I really think things will be very good on the 6th. The following week, however, was about when the mass exodus started last year.

PutaJunkie, I was down on Friday, but did not go into CC or AB. I strongly prefer a lot of the less gringo-oriented bars, and will probably be spending little time in CC from now on, and even less in AB. My biggest reason for being there as much as I had been recently is that the friend who was riding with me only liked those two places, and I felt bad ditching him once we arrived. I'll be down on Friday and/or Saturday, mostly in LC, BT, and MB, and possibly in some of the smaller bars as well. I might pop into CC or AB, or I might not.

Hippie, I'll probably have a room at the Leyva for the weekend. I'll keep an eye out for you. On a positive note, sitting at other tables has made me acquainted with some mongers who didn't take themselves so seriously, which was refreshing. BTW have you seen our flaca friend at AB? Lightened and straightened her hair...Ay caliente!!!

Try PCA parking instead of dealing with the airport parking. Instead of Hegenberger exit, take the exit on 98th ave.(west). PCA is two blocks down.

I will be traveling to San Diego on Feb 9. Planning a trip to TJ. Day trip between the hours of 10am and 5pm. First- is it worthwhile to travel down there during the day? Most of the posts indicate that the action starts after 11pm. Will there be any trophies during the day- or just hags. Also, it's my first trip to Zona Norte. I used to live in San Diego and have been travelling in Mexico numerous times- without any real problems. Is the Zona Norte any different from the crime around Revolucion? Any advise is appreciated. Also, maybe one of you Hombres would like to come with and show me the ropes? Let me know.

Cascadas is $29 for a single, $49 for a double and $67 for a jacuzzi room. Fifth floor should be sufficient, plus I saw at least one hottie staying on this floor this past sat.
