Khun_mor,
Thanks for the advice. I just booked the Sandy Springs for my trip to Pattaya. Looks pretty nice from the pictures on the webpage.
Can anyone tell me if there are ANY nice beaches in or near Pattaya??? This is my biggest concern about going to Pattaya (good P4P scene) over Phuket (nice beaches). I thought I could do a day trip to one of the near by islands to get my beach fix in Pattaya when I get tired of doing the nasty (never!)...

By I_am_sancho on Sunday, December 21, 2003 - 04:42 pm:  Edit

I was at the JW Marriot next to Nana plaza just last month. It was very nice and guest friendly. Since it is a classy place I tried to show a little discretion and entered and exited at the second entrance near the gift shops but the staff I encountered treated my guest just as respectfully as they treated me.

Last summer I took a day trip to an island off of Pattaya. I took a beer bar girl with me and I let her bargain the deal to hire a speed boat. She got a price that was only one third of the price that was offered to me. Basically her daily fee was about the same as what she saved me on the speed boat plus I got to fuck her as well. The water was nice but there was sea urchins in some areas so you had to stick to certain areas.

The island you are referring to is Kho Larn Island. I also think Jomtien Beach is not so bad either, although it is not a swimmers beach. You could also make a short trip to Kho Samet which is about an hour and a half away plus short boat ride to the island and that island is one of the nicest in Thailand IMHO.

Rob
The nightlife in Pattaya is SO FAR superior to Phuket that I feel the choice is a no brainer. Beaches are everywhere. You get pussy like that in Pattaya in only one locale.

I agree with Blazer's post in regards to beaches. You have already learned lesson number one-- DO NOT go near the water in Pattaya. It'll kill ya !!Jomtien ony a 50 baht ride from Pattaya. Nice for ski jets, parasailing, etc. Koh Samet is nicest beach of the three.-- A short bus or taxi ride to Rayong then boat to island. Koh Larn is a fun day trip to make with a holdover barfine.Beach not so great but not too bad either. As Sancho said the best way to go is by speedboat. Offer one third of what they quote you and do not move from that. Walk away if they refuse -- they will run after you once they know you are not a mark. If not plenty of others to approach. Same negotiation ploy works well everywhere in LOS by and large.

Guys thanks for the excellent advice. I feel much better about the trip to Pattaya now. If I can find time away from doing bar girls I will check out the beaches.

Thanks,
Rob

Rob wrote: "If I can find time away from doing bar girls I will check out the beaches."

HA HA HA! Yeah, good luck! That's exactly what I said when I went to Thailand..."I'm gonna spend a few days in Pattaya to check out the islands, a few days in Bangkok to sex some girls, and a few days in Chiang Mai to see the countryside."

Never made it past the bar girls in Pattaya. Spent 11 days in Pattaya, an my last two in Bangkok. Never made it to Chiang Mai or anywhere else.

Damn bar girls...!

By Robj76 on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 - 04:55 am:  Edit

These bar girls sound like trouble...Maybe I should avoid them all together so I can take in the culture and the sites?... Yeah right!
I have been to Rio three times, but Thailand seems like it takes mongering to the next level in terms of numbers and possibilities. I am looking forward to this trip.

Goin to the beach is a lot more fun if you include a bargirl in the trip--not get away from them. Find one you are comfortable being with and let her be your tour guide. So you repeat one night -- it's worth it if you pick the right girl.
But then all I do now is repeat !! Oh well.

Staying at Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 and LOVING IT!! This place is brand new and when you walk to Beach St you can see walking street in the distance. The transfer from BKK to Pattaya was free, and the ride back is 350B/person. Rooms are 990 and 1200. Go with the bigger room. Big difference for your $5...

Dynasty Inn sounds nice, but when I tried to make reservations there it was full. I am staying at the Sandy Spring Hotel. It costs more than 2X as most places. I hope it is worth it. I have an ocean view suite reserved on one of the higher floors. Once I get there I will decide if it is worth the extra $$$. Sounds like you are really having a blast Epi. Save some for the rest of us! What bar did you pick up your 3-holers at???

Only 5 days to go!

Sandy Springs is on the same soi as Dynasty half a block apart.-- closer to the beach. Both very nice, I think the SS rooms are a bit bigger. You will be pleased. I think it is the nicest guest friendly hotel in Pattaya.

I will be arriving in BKK on march 2nd 2004 and stay till the 12th, first time to check out the girls, I went to Cambodia last march and the girls were great and the price to go with it. This will be my first for Bkk. I plan to go to Pattaya after the first day. I will be traveling with a few young lady friends, so I will have to do the mix of tourist stuff and make time for the Thai girls. If anyone will be in Thai at this time and could show me around or give me tips on were to go that would be great. I want to try the soapies and want to try two girls to take back to my hotel. My email address is admin@grafxzone.com I plan to stay at the Dynasty Inn in Bkk and in Pattaya which is better the Dynasty Inn in Pattaya or the Dynasty resort in Pattaya and which is closer to the action? I am on a buget so the best price for all that I do will help. I guess going to Cambodia spoiled me $5 per girl was the best thing to happen to me on my trip there.

Hi there,
I'll arrive in BKK on the 6th of March and return back home on the 22nd. I will have to go to Patong and Ko Samui because I left 2 birds I just can't forget (and I know it is stupid but I made this foolish promise and I make a point to keep my promises!)
Anyway if there is anybody there on these dates,
send me an email at: la.fesse@laposte.net
I haven't decided yet where I will go first. I'll probably stay 2/3 days in BKK.
Cheers

By Le_fesse on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 - 11:15 am:  Edit

Mikey,
I did my first trip last X-Mas with a pro.
This is my best advise:
DO NOT SEEK ANY INFORMATION AT ALL.
just live the experience on a day to day basis.
IT IS MUCH MORE FUN WHEN YOU'RE NOT PREPARED.
TRUST ME
If you really want to know something before, I can give a great website with all the best places to go.

By Le_fesse on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 - 11:20 am:  Edit

Jerry,
see the post I just wrote to Mikey.
Just a piece of advice: YOU NEVER TAKE YOUR OWN FOOD TO THE RESTAURANT. (I'm just jocking)
Though it will quite a challenge to go there with birds...
I'll be around at the same dates but I will go to Phuket and Ko Samui, much more relaxed and the girls are much cooler as it is not too "business" oriented as BKK and Pataya are.
But you still have loads and loads of girls :-)

I will be in Thailand in late March and early April... depending on my bosses..I hope I can catch up with anyone who can provide some advise to a "newbie" to Bangkok....last time I was there was in the mid 80's [after seeing 1 show it took me 6 months to be able to look at a banana without having my stomach turn and by the post etc I have read,it hasn't changed that much].

Admin: Due to the legal question of organized sex tours and the recent shuttering of many sex tour web sites, we must ask that users refrain from promoting sex tours through the ClubHombre.com site. Advertising through ClubHombre.com is also prohibited.

Damn

My spam filter missed that one !!!

Does MR Nasty know sex tours are illegal in Thailand ? I do not think Hombre would appreciate your advertising on his site.

I do apologize i am new on this site. As for Khun_mors comment on sex tours, I kinda Promote Exotic Vacations and SEX IS JUST ONE OF THE OUTCuMES!!
Golf, Fishing, Shopping etc. Need i go on?
Anyway i do apologize to the Administration.

ps Prostitution is also illegal !?

By Khun_mor on Monday, February 09, 2004 - 10:35 pm:  Edit

Nasty
Prostitution is indeed illegal in Thailand as you point out, but the laws are obviously not enforced. The same cannot be said for sex tours which the Thai government seeks out and prosecutes vigorously ! This site is available and read in Thailand so I would suggest a bit more discretion in the future. Just a word of warning I'm not coming down on you or anything.

I could not care less what you do for a living or for pleasure.

Just returned from LOS 2/7/04. Stayed at Dynasty Inn in BKK and Pattaya. As far as being booked, visit their website www.dynastyinn.com , tell them the dates you will arrive and be very specific about the nights you will stay at each hotel if you plan to transfer, which is free to Pattaya, 350 baht to BKK. They will email you a confirmation form that you fill out manually and fax back to them. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the rooms, big and very clean. Bkk Dynasty is on the same block as NEP and Pattaya Dynasty about halfway between Soi 8 and Walking street on Soi 13. Walking distance either way, but for 10 baht on the baht bus, why bother? Never had any problems bringing girls back to either. Both hotels have an entrance that avoids the front desk if you'd rather go that route. Also a cool beer bar called Wonderful 2 across the alley with some really friendly girls. Dao and Poun are two friends (of each other, not me) that work there, they are usually together. Well, they were my friends for a couple days, probably forgotten me by now! Poun used to work in a massage parlor so that may be a little bonus if someone were too employ her companionship. Hope this info helps. email at pataber@yahoo.com if you have any questions, I'll try to help you out.

This will me my first trip to SEA. I am a frequent visitor or Dominican Rep. I am now ready to explore another part of the world. I will be basing myself out of Bangkok Grand President for two months. I arrive april 2nd from NYC. I will be flying U A one stop into Tokoyo. I will be taking a few field trips out of bangkok to Pattaya,Cambodia,Philipines, and possably Pukette.
I am a 37 year old white male 6'3 230 heterosexual. If anyone wants to hook up in SEA from april 2 - june 1st i will be bouncing around. I will be armed with my Dimage 7 HI & Canon S400 and a Sony DVC-DVD 100 to do some serious Picture and Video taking. It would come in handy to have a second hand to runa camera or vid cam. I have a few questions if anyone can help
1) The availability of good condoms?
2) The availability of DVD- disks for cam corder?
3) I did not notice any mention of greek activities in the reports is that a taboo in SEA?
4) Are they at all camera friendly in cambodia? How thourough do the hotels that show no camera signs check?
5) Alot of girls i see ask you to take friends with them BUT is there alot of girl girl action or just double service on you?
I will trim this down a bit. Getting a bit long winded here.

Condoms-- standard Durex-- very available. I always bring my own. I like a thinner more sensitive condom than Durex.
Dvd for camcorder-- no problem in BKK -- MBK or Panthip plaza have many stores that sell. Pattaya or Phuket should be no problem. Anywhere else -- not likely available.

Some Thai girls will do greek, do not know about Cambo -- you gotta ask before you buy. Certainly not taboo. You haven't read Epi's reports obviously.

By Cashew on Thursday, February 26, 2004 - 03:54 pm:  Edit

Thanks Khun mor for your prompt assistance. You are correct i have not yet read Epi's report. I am a new member only a few days old to this board, but i am on it. The old board i was a member of was not nearly as informative or huge like this one. I hope to contribute alot more then i ask for. On that note off to read Epi's reports, and any others that are applicable.

What about buying a compact flash card for my digi cam. Can I find them cheaper in BKK than in the states??

Harry

By Pasathai on Friday, February 27, 2004 - 09:01 am:  Edit

I would say pretty much the same price if you shop for a bargin in USA, but in thailand, if you get a bad one, you probably have no recourse.

( come to think of it, this could be for condoms or compact flash card)

I am finally making my trip to Thailand. It looks like it will be in August (not ideal but better than nothing).

I would like to hear if anyone will be around then. Also, I will be asking many questions along the way (after dissecting the reports of course).

Hi Guys,

I will be arriving in Bangkok late Friday night April 23rd (actually April 24th 12:45am), and I will be staying at the Dynasty Inn-Bangkok until April 27th. Then I am taking the Dynasty Inn shuttle down to Pattaya on April 27th, where I will spend 3 days at Dynasty Inn-Pattaya. Then, I will spend two days, April 30th and May 1st in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, probably at Hawaii Hotel. Then, its over to the Angeles City, Philippines, from May 2 to May 4th or 5th, where I will probably be staying at the Central Park Hotel. If anybody is going to be around these areas at the same time, I would love to hang out together. Just let me know how to hook up with you, and I will make it part of my plan. Have fun...

Mr Flyer-- are you really high ?? Have never heard of Sumi. Do you mean Koh Samui ???

By Wombat88 on Thursday, April 22, 2004 - 10:23 pm:  Edit

I'll go on the assumption you mean Samui. My strategy there was to rent a moto at the ferry terminal and cruize on over the the party beach. From there, just take your time looking for a bungalow. You should get a decent aircon place for 1000THB or less. I found the hotels on the beach were considerably more expensive. If you're on a budget, ask around at the bars. The girls there come from everywhere but Samui and they have the line on the ultra cheap rooms. (My first girl had a big, well located, fan room for 1500THB/month! Had I not already paid for my aircon room, I'd have moved in with her for a few days.)
