Where are you going do the other type of diving ( underwater ) in BKK ? The Chao Phraya has pretty limited visibility I would venture to guess. I'll be there well before you and thru the 9th of November.
Will pass on joining you in the Chao Phraya however ! LOL

Yaya.. was going to get a divemaster friend of mine to run me down to Pattaya and take a boat.. But I'm not in to the Pattaya above-water dive scene for some reason.. Prefer a semi-regular in Voodoo (If she's still there.. she was a wreck emotionally last time I was there)

Actually, once you have swallowed the huge member fee, not that bad. No cost for entry or drinks (whiskey bottles prepaid) and then for PR ladies (the best looking IMO) 1200 for ST and 2400 for LT (inclusive of bf). E won't have to take out that second (or third) mortgage.

There are three classes of ladies: PR, Sideline and Model. The higher up in "class" ladies have lighter skin but are not any better looking.

All in all a fascinating place.

Have you bought Thai SIM cards on E Bay before ?? How do you know it's not some old expired card that cannot be recharged ??

I just talked with Da last night and by coincidence she said there was some big show at Coliseum with a few big name star singers she wanted to go to. She said either 21 or 22 October not sure. Either way your welcome to come along or we can definitely do dinner. I do not know which of her friends are coming but she has some fine looking friends.

I figured I would give the SIM a test. The seller adv. it as new and unopened, and it's w/ paypal so theres some measure of buyer protection. As a bonus, he's listed as living about 20 miles from me so I can always hunt down and terrorize the poor soul.

Let's at least plan on meeting for a couple drinks and/or dinner on the 21st. The show sounds great, but I'm thinking it may be torture. Considering the fact that I haven't been to LoS in a year, all that I'll be able to think about is distributing my seeds in some fertile pooying.

Folks, if you're looking for SIM cards, why not simply buy 'em after you land at the booth inside the 'tout free zone'.. Thats where I get mine.. costs about $10 or so for the sim and a small credit..

BTW.. anyone in town during the month of November, drop me a note here and we can hook up.. The best thing about being between jobs is that I have TIME to be on vacation

It's much easier to give your number BEFORE leaving on your trip instead of calling/emailing everyone once you land.

I've had the same phone number for almost two years. When I land, EVERYONE I know can reach me easily. Nice when your buddies (AND your favorite pooying) can find you...

Epi is absolutely correct. Not only is it nicer having your # prior to departure, but considering that if your getting in a little late you don't have to bother with sim cards. Second, if you can pick one up at home for the same price as @ the destination (I did), why wait?

In short all upside, no downside.
