That is goos advice to anyone to use Don of Riotrips as a guide. you will easily save money in the long run by having Don show you around. I would highly recommend Don to anyone making there first trip.

Ok, I am Jumping the gun a little. Me and my two work buddies will be in RIO for the first time. A bunch of newbie's, I have read so many reports I feel as if I know many of you. Thanks so much for all the information. Grabbed a cool 3bed-3-bath apartment in Impanema Sorry about the spelling. I have been praticing using portuguese with pimsleur. So I hope to be able to at least say good morning. So anyway we will arrive on May 20th through the 26th all of my brother mongers are welcome to hang out with us and we would sure enjoy hangin out with you! So drop me a line and let the games begin.

Good choice in Don. He and Rhonda will take good care of you. On piece of advice though. Don's unofficial office is at Alcazars on Copa Beach. Other than beverages, I did not find one thing they made to be palatable, so I would make sure to head to the KiloGrama or someplace to eat. The food at Alcazars sucked IMHO.

BTW, DetPlaya, if you want to win Don and Rhonda's hearts, take Chocolate and Entman's donuts for her, and a German or Belgian beer for him. Get's you alot of extra milage when you do them a nice turn

don also likes a good california red wine not more than$20. maybe see you there next. i arrive 6th to 18th.

Detplaya while I'm sure anything is greatly appreciated by both Don and Rhonda let me assure you it is not necessary. Yeah, Don loves good cigars and Rhonda sweets but I can tell you after you meet them you will have made true friends. They always go the EXTRA MILE to make sure your trip is safe and fantastic. I second Hemps comment Deplaya. The service quality will be high either way. I just think that once you meet them and find out how great they are, you will want to show your appreciation and feel bad if you have nothing special to give. That's how it was for me. Fortunately, I had taken a few goodies along for general purposes and it worked out great. They were happy to get the gifts, and I felt happy being able to give them a little something for all their efforts

It's official I'm going back from 4/15 to 5/1 for my second trip and I'm going to be alone but this time in a 2 bedderoom penthouse with a private pool. I can host some Fiestas which we can pay for if there are any hombres going to be there the same time.

I can confirm the positive comments about Don. I was down in January 2002 and Don set me up with this killer apartment. We hung out, go laid, partied to the wee hours. I never gave him a dime. He never asked. Don is an excellent guide and can save you hours on trying to figure out the lay of the land. Rock on...

This time I went for much better apartment in IP, staying for 17 days, and while I was trying to hold some costs down this time I will agree to go well above 300 if she's a LA 8 or better and spends the night.

I herd only the hardcore girls leave for Spain. These are the girls that don't come in from the country side for the weekend or girls that work a few days a month or the newbies who just arrive in Rio. I herd the same thing about some of the Termas girls, but it seems the Help and part timmers can't make a living in Europe because the entire action is at clubs like termas.
