hey all, I'm thinkin' of taking my first hobbyin' trip to TJ on Monday 1/26.

I haven't totally mentally committed to it, yet, but I was wondering if anyone else might be going. I'll be in San Diego in either Mission Valley or a little east of SDSU, and mostly carless, so I'd probably be trolleying it.

I'm pretty much not a drinker and I don't speak Spanish, which is my main nervousness...and of course picking the wrong gal(s).

Sooooo....Anyone going and interested in walking a TJ newbie through the experience?

(I've been to Nogales once, and done the escort thing.)

Also I noticed a thread that seemed to say that mostly you don't need a passport. I won't have one...so I guess I'll do some checking around to make sure that that won't be necessary...

Passport not required for us that look like gringo's. I walkk up, hold out a Drivers License and say Hi I'm a US citizen. Then I say if I have something to declare. Usually they just nod me thru.

Wanting to go down to TJ sometime this weekend (1/31 or 2/1). In the LA area. Anyone else up this way want to head down for the day on Sat or Sun? Wasn't really thinking about staying overnight, but won't rule that out either.

Dvmike, a friend from another board and myself will be meeting up at AB on Tuesday for a beer and a stroll in the Alley on Tuesday, maybe a 2pop with an AB girl (might not even make it to the alley). I have my eye on an Alley girl though so I might save the 2pop for her.

I went to the Zona for the first time a couple of weeks ago and when i got back I started planning my next trip. Im only going to a short trip. Arive from Las Vegas in San Diego at 10:30am Saturday Sept 4. Leaving Sunday 7pm. Are there any experianced people going to be down there that weekend? I had a GREAT time at the AB and CC but would like to benifit from some more experianced guidence.

Myself and 3 friends will be in TJ on Wednesday 9/15 for about 4 hours. Probably AB. Anyone want to join us is welcome. We arrive at SD Airport at 10:15am depart 5:30pm.

TJ, December 8th. Looking for Buds to cross the border at around Noon, and stay for 24 hours.
