Murasaki I held the camera in my hand, Thankfully I had not had to much coffee that day. The shutter stayed open for what seemed like forever but still got an ok shot. I love night time shots. I want to capture it the way I see it with my eye at that moment. I don't have access to the hard drive that the original is on so no specs on this one. I have a 3 month SE Asia trip at the end of the year planned which will take in HK,Thailand,Cambodia,Vietnam and the Philippines. I'm going to be travelling solo and it'll be my first time in all the destinations so it should be a good experience and sure as hell beats work!

Hey everybody. I want to monger in Dec but got sticker shock when I found R/T flights from $1200-2000 to BKK, EZE and GIG. Colombia clocks in at around $1000. POP/Sosua was more reasonable at $550-600 from NYC.

I am looking mainly at Dec 17 - Jan 3. Can anyone say that it is worth the 2K to be in BKK/Pattaya around that time? Anyone know how I can get cheaper tickets?

The Rio prices sound about normal for that time of the year, but the BKK prices seem high to me. You might look at leaving a day early or a couple days later, as this sometimes changes the price significantly.
