I could be talked into Indo, a month goes by so
quick when you plug in a couple of side trips. Id
love to try someplace other than Batam. Jakarta
maybe..... I need to break out the calender and
see just how many side trips I can pack in. Besides
Jan-Feb trip, Ill also be back in Thailand the month
of April for my yearly Songkran photo shoot.
By Valterreekian on Saturday, November 26, 2005 - 09:09 pm: Edit |
Hey Bahtman! This year try to remember to pack some hankies to keep your lenses dry. I will not be back to Thailand for another Songkran so I will not be able to supply them this time, LOL

OK, by a show of hands... would you rather be in Bangkok or Pattaya for the King's birthday (Dec. 5) when all the bars are closed, and why?
By Don Marco on Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 11:43 am: Edit |
hrmmm why even think about it? Call a girl outa your own rolodex and forget about bars for a day...
By Nytrash on Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 12:45 pm: Edit |
Well, my problem is... my present plans are to only arrive in Pattaya the day before the King's birthday so I won't have much of a chance to get many phone numbers. Will all of the soi bars be closed? Will the BGs be out freelancing in force? I'm debating changing my plans to be in BKK where I have many phone numbers.
By Don Marco on Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 01:11 pm: Edit |
I would presonally opt to spend some time with the rolodex, but beach road should be swarming in pattaya as a last resort.
By Khun_mor on Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 02:26 pm: Edit |
ZERO bars will be open . Serious offense in the eyes of the Boys in Brown. Do not expect to see swarms of freelancers. There will be some but most will be home with family or friends. It's a day off for almost every Thai. I have never seen Nana area totally deserted except on King's Bday -it's like a ghost town. I doubt Pattaya is much different although I will admit I have never been there on that day.
By Bahtman on Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 04:10 pm: Edit |
Hey Val, Back from Big Butt Brazil I see. I cant wait
for an email or post.
Nytrash, it is dead for the holiday. Get in the bars
ASAP after arriving and get you a girl for
loo0000ooogg time. IF you miss the bars go to the
Disco and do your best to grab a good girl. It
sounds funny but if you don't Bangkok can be a
pretty lonely place during these special holidays.
By Nytrash on Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 05:04 pm: Edit |
Thanks DM, KM, Bahtman,
I might just stay in BKK this trip as I don't want to get caught out there. I guess I'll just play it as it goes...
By Dave_the_rave on Monday, November 28, 2005 - 12:29 pm: Edit |
piglet_j, thanks and it will be a pleasure to host you in LOS. Some guys dump on LOS but hell what's so great about 200+ pound plumpers in the USA! (Right Khun Leigh & Jokerman?). Not my style I will just have to remain the "Prisoner In Paradise" it's a tough job living here in BKK but somebody has to do it. All this attention from hot babes...oh it's tiresome!
By Wickedwilly on Monday, November 28, 2005 - 09:41 pm: Edit |
Dave,
advice spot on last night had a wild time got to sleep at 9am ended up taking three girls back after some great dancing, the party contiued in my room.
Thanx mate one tired but happy ww!
By Dave_the_rave on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 12:02 am: Edit |
Wicked Willy, your welcome mate. BTW for the guys there is a new venue open late. ANGELS DISCO in Nana Hotel is now open until 3am and SIN (inside Raja Hotel parking lot) is a new trendy club with a dance floor. It's packed after midnight and open VERY late. A top DJ from London keeps the place pulsating! The downside is that it's so popular you're crammed together.
By Venture7 on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 10:09 pm: Edit |
I will be in BKK-Pattaya from 12-19 to 1-11 would like to meet up with some guys to go pooy hunting… This is my first post (second trip), so hopefully many more to come. Are there any good hotels left in Pattaya? It seams that all are fully book? Thanks.

Arriving in BKK December 15 thru 21. Drop me a line if you need a wingman...
By Tazzzy on Thursday, December 08, 2005 - 09:56 am: Edit |
I'll be in Pattaya 1/4/06 thru 2/9/06, with a possible jaunt down to Cambodia. Anyone wanna hookup for some mongering?
By Jharrison on Sunday, December 11, 2005 - 11:54 pm: Edit |
I arrive BKK Dec 16 and look forward to meeting a few of you during the Holidays!
Since it's my first trip, I'm optimistic that there will be plenty of cute girls left, even if it is busy.
All the best,
Jh

venture7-
I'll be staying at the Sabai Lodge on soi 2, (as I always do). They give me a rate of $950.00 baht/night in the newer part of the hotel with the Dolphin pool. Great place, great service and girl friendly. I've brought back 2 at times and was never charged.
Their email is: sabaict@loxinfo.co.th
Tazzzy
By Venture7 on Monday, December 12, 2005 - 07:51 pm: Edit |
Thank Tazzzy.
I emailed Sabai and they said they were book for the time I wanted to be there. I ended up getting Sunbeam on soi 2 for 1,430 baht/night.

Hey Tazzzy, I’m looking at a Cambo trip at the end of my trip. It would be great to have a guide.

Venture7-
I'm up for a trip to Cambo. I was there last March and hit both PP and SR. PP wins hands-down. Let me know what dates work best for you and I'll email Ben Wee to be our driver. I'm pretty flexable this time around.
By Venture7 on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 - 06:37 pm: Edit |
Tazzzy,
I'm good anytime between 1-03 to 1-11. I head back state side on 1-11-06. Let me know whats good for you.

I am a LOS newbie, will be in Bangkok from Dec 20 - 26. Will be staying near Nanda Plaza. If anybody wants to give me the nickel tour - PM me.
By Phoenixguy on Saturday, December 17, 2005 - 09:02 am: Edit |
If you find Nana Plaza (and all you gotta do to accomplish that is tell the cabbie "Soi Nanaaaa"), you won't need a tour. I think Epi's over there during those dates. You should look him up. I believe he knows a thing or two about LOS.
By Dave_the_rave on Saturday, December 17, 2005 - 11:26 pm: Edit |
Hey Phoenixguy, I absolutely agree - Epi would be a great trip buddy, however not for the faint-hearted as this guy is a sex beast! Not much this man doesn't know about LOS nightlife or photography. Helluva great guy when you get to know him as a friend.
By Dave_the_rave on Saturday, December 17, 2005 - 11:33 pm: Edit |
Hi Defender, great to meet you. All you guys thank me profusely, but I appreciate that you guys fly across the world and take the time to meet me. I believe the appreciation works both ways, after all this is what Club Hombre is all about. We hook up in exotic lands to meet exotic babes! BTW hope you had a good time in the Rainbow bars.
By Golfman on Monday, December 19, 2005 - 05:02 pm: Edit |
I want to thank Dave for a great evening, your bar is first class and the ladies I met were the same, I will be in Pattaya from Dec. 18 to Jan 10, would love to meet some of you guys if we can arrange it, playing golf by day and mongering by night!!!!!! What a life!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Dave_the_rave on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 - 11:50 am: Edit |
Hi Golfman, great to meet you and your friend, real gentlemen there's not many left! Enjoy the golf and the wild partying in Sin City! If only we were able to complete as many holes by night as we can during the day at golf. LOL!

Will be in Pattaya the 4th to the 11 Feb 2006, who will be around? Have not planned the rest of the trip yet so I am open to ideas and looking for a good solid wingman or two. This will be my sixth trip to Thailand but only my second visit to Pattaya.

Hi Blumpy
Read your travel report, you sound like my kind of Monger so far I’ve booked a suite at the MTC Pattaya Hill from the 4 to the 11 and will probable head to BKK from the 11 for a few days unless some monger is interested in heading to Sihanoukville, Cambodia never been there but from Rakit's trip report looks like it could be interesting. I Know the beaver Bar in fact I know the gutter well so look before you dive I will keep you up to date on my plans
By Isawal on Friday, December 23, 2005 - 01:09 am: Edit |
Hi Nastyworld
From your 2004 trip report it looks like we have the same interests. I use to be a chef thus I love good food, so keep in touch.
By Isawal on Friday, December 23, 2005 - 01:11 am: Edit |
Nastyworld, by the way if you travel the 3rd world how come you have never made it to ZA, we are about as 3rd World as you can get, but in a good way.

Some how I got hooked on Thailand
I would love to go in 2006, when is the best time?
By Isawal on Saturday, December 24, 2005 - 01:02 am: Edit |
I like feb and late Oct through November, the weathers OK and there are less tourists about. But I guess if the rain doesnt bother you any time is OK, just check for Holidays and Festivals they can cut into your Mongering time and stay away in December except if you like tourists and there screaming brats.
By Blumpy on Saturday, December 24, 2005 - 09:23 pm: Edit |
Isawal, thanks, I never did finish that report, everything started to blur together. I must keep better notes in the future.
Nastyworld, the photo of Nee in the shower is smoking! I love the tatoo on the belly. Where does she work?
By Nastyworld on Sunday, December 25, 2005 - 09:30 am: Edit |
Thanks - Not Sure Blumpy. Most times i would bump into her at the Roof Bar with her Crew of Chocolate sisters! Yeah i too love some of the chicks wit Tats!
Merry Christmas ...

Hi Blumpy
I guess when things blur together its a sighn of a great trip. I know that my best holidays are the ones that I can't remember

Hey Guys! I'll be flying to BKK from Canada on January 13th... It's my first trip ever as a hobbyist lol. Would like to meet some of you to get some advice and share some laughs.
P.S. Bahtman, I bet a thousand people have asked you this but, what Camera do you use? and do you teach lessons in photography hehe.
By Isawal on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 01:49 am: Edit |
To all, have a great New Year see you in LOS in 2006!
By Bahtman on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 07:57 am: Edit |
Hey Julio31, Congrats on your first trip to Thailand..I've used the canon models 10D and 20D to take almost all the photos that I've posted on the site. I've now switched to the Canon 5D. The best lesson I can give you is take time to get to know the girl before you pull the camera out.
As far as the girls trust your instinct. If you get a bad vibe let her go. Thailand is all about having it your way so take time your time and find you a real sweetheart. Look forward to seeing some of your pics.

I'm a 6 year, 14 trip veteran of the LOS, but was considering a side trip and was wondering opinions on where else one would monger and why? I was debating Cambodia, Philipines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Viet Nam. Please provide some input if you have some. I'd really like to see something different this time around.
By Gnewsom on Monday, January 02, 2006 - 08:16 am: Edit |
I will be in Pattaya starting on 1/4 if anyone wants to hook up. I'll be staying at the Sunbeam hotel on Soi 7. I have 3 weeks. I'm thinking of spending a week in Pattaya, 1 week in Burma or Vietnam, then back to Pattaya for another week.

Booking my hotels tomorrow for my trip in Feb, thinking about the Nana in BKK and the Lek Hotel or Dynasty Inn in Pattaya where are the other mongers of Feb staying?
By Isawal on Tuesday, January 03, 2006 - 12:56 pm: Edit |
Tdog123 is staying at the Omni Towers now and highly recomends it, so I am adding it to my list for BKK
By Tdog123 on Tuesday, January 03, 2006 - 06:02 pm: Edit |
I stayed at the sunshine inn in Pattaya on Soi 8. Hotel room was fine and its right in the middle of about 50 hoppin beer bars and with the 10 baht ride system in Pattaya if your anywhere fro soi 1 south your in the middle of something room was 1400 baht and that was for the inflated Christmas to New Years time I think prices drop on about the 5th.
If I could replan my trip I would have spent more time in Pattaya and will next time.
By Isawal on Wednesday, January 04, 2006 - 12:09 am: Edit |
My idea is to spend 10 days in Pattaya and 4 days in bangkok, subject to change if I can find a wingman to head down to Cambodia for a day or two.
By Nastyworld on Wednesday, January 04, 2006 - 10:48 pm: Edit |
Isawal what date did you have in mind??
Will arrive Philippines and and Pattaya 8 -18
Peace
