XMAS SHOPPING? Clothes are cheap here in LOS but you have to know exact sizes in advance of course. Leather goods are very good quality and value for money. There are numerous hand carved wooden ornaments, hand painted ceramic gifts and a general abundance of shopping. Exotic Thailand offers so much shopping but I would go with some exotic gift relating to traditional Thailand myself.

ANGELWITCH BKK - I have not met one guy who was disappointed with Angelwitch in Nana Plaza this past few months. We have loaded up with hotties and the new Shows are some of the best Angelwitch has ever produced. If you are a party guy Angelwitch is ideal for you.

The downside is that Angelwitch is so much more popular than the other bars that it does get very crowded at Showtime. However, a crowded bar like Angelwitch has an electric atmosphere that no other bar can match. Bars that are always full or always empty are for two very different and seemingly obvious reasons.

Reports about arriving from the new airport Bhumi are good for night and bad for day. At night you can be at your Hotel in 30 or 40 minutes. You should be in Nana Plaza in plenty of time. Remember Nana is open until at least 2:00am usually closer to 2:30am. Cheers!

Tripper, the Majestic Grande is VERY nice. Some cabbies don't no where it is, so just tell them to take you to the JW Marriott which is just across the street. BTW, when will you be in town?

The majestic Grande is a super place to stay, I highly reccomend it and I checked out a few, just booked back in again today for another 5 days. The stay has only been marred by me getting more hammered drunk than I ever have been (sorry Dave about the photo attempt)....never again.

I agree with getting hammered with/because of Dave. I sit in his bar like a little BITCH sipping water or Red Bulls trying to behave; then one of his rich drunken mates starts buying rounds and my resolve collapses.
My poor liver..GROAN!

blump this time it wasnt Daves fault even though I revisited AW to make sure no damage was done. I arrived 3sheets due to marriage issues the same evening causing me to dull the pain with an almost bottle of vodka in the hotel room. Luckily for me I arrived back in the same place with no harm done after a good evening of fun, so I'm told.
