Hey man, I just joined this site today, looking for information on Rio.

I plan on being in Thailand on 9/20/06 to about 9/30/06 and then making it to Rio for five days or so.

It will be my first time there as well, and if it works out were there together cool. I haven't settled on a place to stay yet, but as it will be the start of the NFL season, football on TV will be a consideration.

1hardcock, read the posts on Rio and all your questions will be answered. Everything has already been posted. And if you find anyplace "close to the hot action" that is "safe" you're not where the action is.

Just keep in mind that the prices have gone up on just about everything since UWPhoto created that guide. But, the basic formula is the same.

Will be in Ipanema around the 25th April to May 11. Got my apartment and plan to enjoy the trip. Bwana's guide was truly outstanding and helped me and the others last time. I will use it again. This time I am solo and would not mind finding a wing man who can pay his own way. I am late 50s and enjoy creature comforts, Rio, and fine restaurants.

This we be my 4th Time in Rio. I cant get enough. Me & 2 Buddies from So. Cal. are going back to Rio on 4/11 - 4/24. We were there 5 months ago. It was so much fun we must go back again. We plan to get an apartment behind the big Orthon Palace Hotel (next to Blame it on Rio) Great Location. Let me know if anyone knows of a good hook up for apartments. How to do a festinha/orgy

This guide is pretty good, lots of nice detail, but I have a few very important corrections and comments to this. How do I pass this to the originator, or is there a thread dealing with this guide?

It has lots of interesting info, but a few light but important misunderstandings. Also totally omits the cheap small festinhas I like to do. R$ 100 to 180 per person to do several girls in your own apartment.

Unless you have a huge apartment with sauna, hot tub, KS beds with mirrors above them, a good supply of towels and robes, and a sex chair, it ain't really a festa. I have little gatherings of 2 guys and 3-4 girls in my apartment all the time, but those are not festas. The total atmosphere changes when you use a party set-up like VIPS.

2nd trip to Rio, will be staying in copa area.. looking for a wingman.. I would like to venture to vilamimosa...

Looking for some advice of where to stay and where to go in Rio. If anybody is around feb 8 through 14, 2008 to hook up let me know.

The way CFK and diversity are getting along I think if I leave 2 guns laying around the apt they'll kill each other. the soap opera will be over and I can get back to being a monger instead of a referee.

Just leave the apartment windows open and string a zipline from the front window over to the hillside at the favela. Then put up a sign that says "free shit if you kill the gringos first". Then go check into a hotel for the night.

Your advantage is you could crawl out your bedroom window in the back and slide down a drainpipe or something. Better yet, buy an emergency net ladder or a rappelling setup, you could rappel right down to Coffeemaker's place.
