Headed to Rio for my first time in January. Looking for trip buddies that have been before and can point me in the right direction.

I will also be traveling to rio this January, probably around the 12th and it will be my second trip there. My plans are to make use of Amerioca tours and Don with his guide service. Even on a second trip, his services such as introductions, airport pickup and cell phone usage are invaluable and it is good to have a friend in town, just in case.

I imagine that the spectacle of Rio is pretty much what it was the last time I was there, about 4 years ago, and there is nothing to compare to it, at least not that I've found.

I just sent Don an email asking about an apartment.

Let me know when and where you are staying once you confirm. I'd really appreciate some one pointing me in the right direction.

I just booked my flight for tomorrow. I'll be in Rio from Jan 26 to Feb 7. This will be my fourth Rio Trip.

I was really bored by myself last time (except for the sex), sitting alone in a Terma is like being a lone lamb in a wolf pack. I'd love to meet up with some fellow CH memebers.
