Big trip to South America April 15 - May 6. I'm going to Rio, Sao Paulo, Bueno Aires, Monte Video, et al. I'm looking for someone to meet up with who has any experience in these areas.

I've from the US, had basic Spanish and have hobbied in Cuba, Thailand and Mexico.

Im looking at making a trip to Rio this April-May timeframe. Is anybody else interested in going around this time who would like to share an 2 bed Apt. Should be safer that way since I want to bring girls back to the apt. This will be my first rio trip. Flights are around ~800 leaving out of san diego, not bad. Looking for a adventurous wingman. Well if I got thirsty or hungry I figure you could get me something since it is an Apt and there is no room service. Just kidding, I feel it is safer with someone watching your back. whether out in the club, thermas or even back at the apt. I read some stories of some girls getting crazy when brought back to an apt and I feel with 2 people it would be easier to handle.

So you need a babysitter then? I realize you've never been to Rio but what you're asking is more than a bit odd. My advice would be to stay in a hotel your first trip and/or use Don and Ken to keep you out of trouble. I doubt any vets will room with a newbie who needs a lot of hand holding, there's zero upside to this from my perspective.

Sorry your wrong, I dont need any hand holding. Why is it odd, am I asking for someone to hold my package while I bang these girls, not asking for anyome to join in either. Wasbnt specifically asking for vets either as there is enough information out there that I dont need anyone to tell me where to go or do. Vila Mimosa

For those of you who might want to walk on the wild side in Rio, a mongers visit to Rio is not complete without a trip to Vila Mimosa. Most of the stories you may have heard are not true, but parts of them are. It IS dirty and LOUD and some of the girls really are butt ugly. But the upside is the variety and the 24 hour party of over 40 small bars on one street. I have found it to be very safe and the owners and patrons do their best keep it that way.

I will be in Rio until April 1. If anyone would like to go to this wild west town just like when the cowboys used to come in town on Saturday night to Miss Kittys saloon in Dodge on Saturday nights, I would be willling to guide you through and help you with the rules, dos and donts, and introduce you to some of the girls.

Going there alone can be frightening, like ===what have I got myself into==== type of reaction. I go there twice a week or so and would ge glad to show you the ropes.

The :SPORT: in VM is to find that needle in the haystack--and they are there! If you are a true and blue Terma man, I suggest you skip this trip. But if you are looking for a cultural experience, looking to save some bucks and like the excitement of a 24 hr party, then get in touch with me. Certainly on weekends there must be at least 200 girls to pick from--and they come in all shapes and sizes. I think of myself in Vila as a Talent Scout--looking for who to invite back to my apartment.

So if you are new to Rio or like a change of pace, I would be glad to show you around. I have learned alot from this board over the years and now my time to pay back to new mongers.

As long as you're 100 % drug-free like me and not too flaky, there shouldn't be any problems. I'm flexible and cooperative. It would be cool to split the costs of the apt. and probably a bit safer that way too. I've been to Colombia and Cuba several times and can take care of myself, but this is my first trip to Brazil and it seems at least from reading this forum and others that there's a lot of scary stories out there.

I'm 36 and speak Spanish fluently but unfortunately almost no Portuguese. I'm looking at renting a place from the Amerioca guys but if you have a better idea that's cool with me.

It is NOT cool to take a woman to a terma.

There are many other venues, just pick one up at Help or outside at TA if you need to. Invite one to join you both for a drink. Many GDPs are bisexual and would enjoy a break from the usual client.
Also try the beaches during the day/afternoon.

There are also swing clubs in Rio. I think ele-ela is one. You will regret bringing your girl to Rio. IMO. Unless she is cool with you going solo without her a couple of times.

I was in Fortaleza less than 2 years ago. That's where the myth that all Brazilian women are hot was tragically shattered. I spent so much time in that bar area just looking for a 7; it really was not worth it.

Will be in Rio Aug 22-30th. I'll be up for some terma runs and dinners for anyone in town that week.

Being now in a subjunctive mood, I would like to think I would be more selective than him.

Gatorhunter - BH is worth going to but it depends on what you are looking for. There are no Termas to speak of. But if you want low end, then it's quite efficient. That whole are near Rua Guiacurus is like low end heaven.

There are a number of clubs (Scorpius, New Sagitarius, Sayonara) but the girls can get pricey. Having said that, the Mineras are proud of the fact that they like vigorous sex so it's worth taking a spin with one on her home turf.

And unlike Rio the girls are not just "out there" cruising the strip. However, there are more bars in BH than you can shake a stick at. And where there are bars, there are girls. So there you go.

I will be in SP July 24 - 25, Rio July 26 - 27, and BH July 28 - 31. It's all business (unfortunately) so will be getting my sessions in my spare time.

I already have a date set up with my little race car driver (Danica Patrick look-alike) in BH.

In my humble opinion, BH is not worth the mongering scene unless you like the street scene...and even then you can find plenty of that in Rio. I have been there a couple of times for other reasons and the street action (sorry, don't remember the name - but it is one of the primary streets downtown) was good. But to travel for soley for P4P - Stay in Rio!!! Especially if you have limited and valuable vacation time to spend. The clubs I frequented in BH were overpriced - plus Carioca's in my opinion perform better then Mineras.

I'm still in Rio for another week or so from now (07/24/08) until the first week of August (08/04/08).

Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to grab a beer, go on a termas/boite/bar run, etc.

Hoping to meet up with some of the vets. It's my second time down here and I'm definitely a huge fan of the city (now if only the exchange rate could improve...haha).

I really want to see some of the places that the Rio vets know about that the average monger wouldn't really see or go to. Most of my time has been at the termas, but I kind of want to see some of the other places that I wouldn't normally go to solo (especially considering my Portuguese needs work).

I also saw on the calendar that Bwana Dik is making a stop in Rio while I'm going to be here, so it looks like I owe someone a beer (Rio Guide was a great read, definitely some good info in there).
