Could we possibly get an "obituaries" section established here, maybe with some memorable quotes from our dearly departed??
It could be something like the "KidCisco Memorial Honor Roll" with category breakdowns for:
Turk....(all mongers are evil)
Roblaw...(you're all inferior)
Wrongway...(logic, who needs it?)
Just a thought,
eJ

This is one of my all-time favorite WestFargo vignettes, from April 2001:
"Roger and I waited under the Heater last night at 10:00PM tell 11:30PM, And I fucked a gal for 88pesos, about $9.25. Her name is Mary from Mazatlan. All you guys have seen her in there from time to time. Very friendly and a little ugly. I didn't want to fuck her because I was waiting for Bajaboy. Of course I only had 180pesos, and she told me to ask Roger. Of course Roger took out his "Phony wallet" with no money. I had told her the story that the I had to take the kids to the FREE clinic because one caught Hepatitis from a Taco shop, and his Liver is failing. She immediatly started telling me about her mother's arthrities, and father's that has no fingers do to an accident in a factory.
A few minutes later I told her I didn't want to take her away from her business. Because I know she needs to make money for her children. I knew that did it. That usually clinches the deal. She said, I wan't to "Make love to you" I said, Lots of kisses and I want to cum in your mouth. After, Of course! She said OK. She was worth the $9.26, however, she didn't swallow. After that I spoke to a few mongers. And they critized my gal for being a little too ugly. They started to laugh and said they wouldn't go up with her at any price. And this is the gods honest trust. One of the guys took Marinay from Mazatlan. Have you guys seen this real tall half blond from Mazatlan that speaks a little english. Looks like she got AIDS, always wears tight spandex, usually pink. He went with her. I've spoken to a few mongers and they say she's the biggest piece of shit. He came down not more then 15 minutes with this "What happened" look. I said, how was she. He said, Great! $50.00 she's very good. His friend looked at me and said, he's lieing, I can tell he got fucked."

GCL: Do I have to spend all my time correcting you?? Turk had two famous lines, not one. They were equally famous. One was "Sha Ching"; the other was "Cha Shing." A Turk memorial is not complete without BOTH equally famous lines.
Now, while we are on the subject of Turk memorials, need I say again, the definitive Turk memorial was posted on this board upon his death. It begins:
"He may be dead, but not forgotten. Yes, since Turk5555’s untimely death from suntan machine electrocution, a pall has been cast over our community, particularly among those closest to Turk. For example, before Turk’s demise GCL was a productive member of our community capable of tying his own shoes. Now he is best known for his incessant muttering under his breath “I have never jerked off in Brazil, I have never jerked off in Brasil,” and his inability to post anything meaningful on this board other than “I miss Turk.” This sad state of affairs is no surprise though, since GCL was this board’s main Turk advocate and to this day can’t seem to get over his death."
I think those words have withstood the test of time and apply even moreso today than when they were initially penned. And yes, there were references to both "Sha Ching" and "Cha Shing" in the memorial. But if you insist on continuing to ignore the infamous Turk Memorial, (see LAguy's trip reports but don't be diverted by the Casa-mania 1/2 real per minute report, which I know will be of great interest to you) and would rather spend your time trying to transform TRW into our next Turk, good luck. It ain't gonna happen.
There, I said it.

I just spent the last hour or so re-reading "Relationomento Serio" and it's actually funnier now than when it was current. It just reinforces my belief that the guys on the board now can't hold a candle to DonGringo and UWPhoto and Sman and Bullwinkle and the guys who have moved on. It was much more fun and much more informative a few years ago.
Bring Back Turk 2006. That's my new mantra.

For sure LaGuys Turk memorial was a touching tribute to our fallen star. TRW wasnt clever enough to warrant such attention.
Cat, the Relationomento Serio, as well as most of KidCiscos rants withstand the test of time and are worth revisiting. Bullwinkle's stuff was some of the best writing I ever saw on the board, Deeg constantly had me laughing histerically. Those were the days. We probably need a hall of fame on here.
My nomination for best ever trip report would have to be The Book is on the Table by Layne87. LAGuy should have a spot for his tireless field work in Sampa, and Bwana deserves a lifetime achievement award.

Thank you GCL for the compliment. Receiving such a compliment is ALMOST the high point of my career as a reporter here on Club Hombre. However, I consider the following complement by another hombre, "Laughed so hard Damn near wet myself!" in response to my even more ignored than the Turk Memorial report--namely, "LAGuy - Brno, Czech Republic, Gangbang Club" (I guess there isn't a big Brno Czech Republic contingent here)--as the highest compliment to date.
However, even that compliment fell short IMHO. I am still waiting and hoping for the compliment that would represent the capping achievement of my career, namely having a non-pampers-wearing hombre actually wet his pants in response to one of my reports (if such a thing happened with a pampers--wearing hombre, rather than being an achievement, it would be kind of sad, don't you think?). Anyway, I am a patient hombre and have hope that I will reach the pinnacle someday.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone could pull together the greatest "hits" of some of our departed members (this would have to include Turk, KidCisco and RobLaw) in a single "Tribute to Fallen Hombres" thread?
In addition to simplifying the search for such gems, it could serve as a primer for wannabe trolls. Frankly, the recent efforts from unnamed members are pathetic in comparison.
gcl,
You are too kind. But I agree on the other nominations. And to this day I cannot have a conversation with Layne87 without the words and music to "Feelings" flashing through my mind.

To all members of this board who have never read the "Relationomento Serio" thread. Do yourself a favor and read it right away.
I reread it recently and laughed out loud at LAguy noticing the change from Sha Ching to Cha Shing, Sman (for noting how great it would be to meet a 30 something woman who wants a guy with money but wont give him any pussy), Roadglide who was the threads 'pitbull' and wouldnt ever let go, Dood (for correcting Turk on his portuguese in a hilarious manner), Bwana Dik whose tongue in cheek ribbing was Turks undooing (Turk completely unraveled at Bwana and was banned for his comments), Catacony (for admitting he had banged a Hong Kong hooker named Sha Ching) and especially Deeg who managed to invent a new verb, "Turking".
Its classic stuff, I recommend it to all. You can find it in Discus under treeview at: Offtopic, Entertainment, Outside, Relaciomento Serio (Translation: Serious Relationship).
What about we nominate the best flames and meltdowns? Is there enough of a body of work to pick from yet?

The real connoisseur of the evolution of Turk might also want to check out his first trip report, https://www.clubhombre.com/discus/messages/1718/9355.html?1044049469. Not only are there some preliminary clues as to his idiocy, but the infamous KidCisco makes a couple of appearances in the commentary to Turk's "report," albeit like Turk, KidCisco had not yet hit his stride. Now how many times can anyone be so lucky as to have a thread with both of them in it, even considering they had not yet reached their vintage form?
Granted, that thread is not a good starting point for the Turk5555 newbie--as GCL aptly points out "Relationomento Serio" (https://www.clubhombre.com/discus/messages/88/48840.html?1086533804) is--but it does paint a fascinating picture of Turk5555 leaving the starting gate with KidCisco as a bonus. Incidentally, it is important that after hitting the Relationomento Serio link that you begin with Archive 1 and work forward from there.
Other threads worth a look include "More Turk" (https://www.clubhombre.com/discus/messages/88/49935.html?1086536137), and of course the highly informative Turk5555 STD thread sponsored by the Catholic Church (https://www.clubhombre.com/discus/messages/88/49646.html?1086113394).
No, they just don't make them like that no more.

Thank you LAGuy. This first Turk report is very eyeopening. First of all, Turk comes across as almost a sympathetic character. I felt for the guy. Then KidCisco jumped in, hilarious. And it was before his smileyface days
THe suprise post of the day was from our friend Rexx. He had one of the best KC rebuttals, and it is noteworthy because Rexx doesnt post very much.
THe Turk STD post made me laugh out loud as well. Jesus, we could not have made this stuff up. Is there anyway Hombre can have these guys rejoin the site? Noway we will have another Turk and KC in our lifetime.

"Catacony (for admitting he had banged a Hong Kong hooker named Sha Ching)" GCL Sunday the 20th...
This is kinda scary....is Cato's hooker Baek???
From USA Today...
The Mariners recalled Cha Seung Baek from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, and the right-hander will make the start in the series opener against New York.

Sha Ching and Cha Seung aren't even close, and I speak not a word of Cantonese or Manderin.

It's okay...we'll try not to speak of it either.

Rather racist of you to not be able to tell the difference between two Chinese names. I guess they all look alike, right?
