Is there any way that you could set up an interactive map, or globe for that matter, that can contain all past information posted for each location on the map? It would be like a GIS system where someone could interactively spin the globe around, click on Kiev and get a listing of information on Kiev, like past trips reports, pictures of broads, listings of agencies, when other mongers are planning to go there, local time, airline links, etc... I think this would be very helpful and impressive. I know that it is doable because GIS systems on the web are becoming more common and I think that you would be able to put together an impressive one, based on how well put together the site is already. Just a thought.

Mitch, I like that idea. Or, one could simply use a clickable map like you see on some other sites.. I think that would be a neat thing. I might even work on a prototype just for the hell of it..

I've not seen it before, but would like to. Gringoes.com has a link to a map that you can move the cursor over and see what time it is all over the world. I am picturing a globe that you could spin using the mouse and then click on places and be taken to a list of information and other links.
