I was going to put this in the suggestion box, but there is no way I can start a new thread there.
I just discovered the world of RSS feeds. I believe this is going to be the way of the future for all websites and blogs going forward. I now have a reader setup and it seems so much easier to check the action on my favorite sites through the reader then logging in all the time.
I think Hombre should somehow incorporate RSS feeds into this site. Logging in from time to time to find new discussions, trip reports, etc. is time consuming. I dont have a lot of time on my hands nowadays and if I knew a new trip report existed or someone posted some new pictures, then I would eagerly login.

Thanks.

Go to any website. Lets take, for example, www.cnn.com. Go all the way to the bottom and in the services area you will see "RSS". To subscribe to RSS, you need either a stand alone feedreader (i.e. feedreader 3.05,www.feedreader.com) or other web-based alternatives. Here is a link that shows many types of feed readers:

Basically, it makes reading news, websites and blogs a lot easier. Lets say there are 20 different websites that I check daily. Since I have certain responsibilities, its simply too time consuming to constantly check them all for updates. A feed reader will consolidate all the headlines and updates into one single program.
When I am trading during the day, I use a feed reader to consolidate market news from several different websites and news services. The feed reader updates every minute and sends an audible/visable display when new news comes in. I have a flat panel display on my trade desk dedicated to the feed reader.
So in regards to club hombre, lets say someone posts a new report. Then it will post to the feedreader and it will signal me that a new report is ready. That way I wont have to constantly log on here to see if someone posted a new report. There might be other ways too such as with the chat and other message threads that this may work nicely with.

Here is a picture of my feed reader. The one feed being displayed is pulling news information that I need to know right now from 28 different sources and updated every 1 minute. The titles are displayed in the upper right hand corner. When I click on it, I see the news report in the lower right corner. The feeds are on the left.
I would have to go to 28 different websites to get the information otherwise. The other advantage here is that I can get information in real time, each minute.
