Does anyone have mongering experience in Brussels ? I'm headed there in early 2002 (will also be in Amsterdam - again !!!!). I read up a bit on worldsexguide.com and it appears that there is a red light district outside of the Gare du Nord subway station. Reportedly, the street name to look for is Rue d'Aerschot. The posters on the site claim that the gals hang in the windows just like amsterdam.

Can anyone confirm this ? I'd really prefer to do the stroll by the windows rather than deal with some rip-off call-up escort bullshit.

I've been to Brussels a few of times but I only mongered on my first trip (which was in 1993). I can't remember the exact location but ask any cabby for the Red Light Area. I do remember that it was a 5-minute cab ride from the Brussels Hilton (right off one of the Inner Ring road exits). The RDL was very small. The girls posed from a window, just like in Amsterdam. The difference was they all fucked on a couch... Don't ask me why. If you've done Amsterdam recently then Brussels may be a big letdown (IMHO)... (prog)

Ive visited the area around Gar Du Nord. I was staying at the Sheraton (Place Rogier) and looking out my window and realized the neon lights represented the Red Light district. Ask directions but youre almost there.

just to close the loop on this one, i went by the RLD in brussels (and described in my recent trip report on amsterdam). don't waste your time. the gals are ugly as sin.

In Brussels it's better to try the private houses, you can find adresses in free ad weekly 'Vlan', also in the English language 'Bulletin'.
Prices 75 to 125 Euro, proper room and bed, more relaxed atmosphere.

Jetjock, drive 30 minutes north to Antwerp. There is a fairly nice and newly built out Red Light area there. It is a lot cheaper than Brussels, and the women are not so hard. It is located about 10 blocks north of the Cathedral.

I was in Belgium for a brief period of time this month. I'm working on a short trip report for the stay.

I didn't get any pictures, but here are a few I found from some Russian web site that give an idea of what the street and the prostitutes look like.

Brussels is definitely not someplace you go for the sole purpose of hobbying, but it's conveniently available if you are there.

If you have a day or more off, and want to get to a better scene, you can buy a ticket to Dusseldorf for as low as $75 US and get there in 3 hours. At least that's what I've read of some other people doing. The Dusseldorf FKKs are definitely a much better value, but I don't know about the ease or cost of getting to them from the train station.

why does amsterdam rank last on your list ? i haven't been to ams or bru for about ten years so i'm sure things have changed. but my recollection was the bru girls ranked no more than a 7 on the looks scale while the ams girls were generally a 7 or higher. not sure if you are ranking on looks, price, service, number of girls, etc...

I ranked Amsterdam last because it seemed to have the most hardened women. I had my two worst sessions of the trip there, but one other turned out well.

I found more attractive women in Amsterdam in number, but there were women available in the other places that were just as attractive.

I just realized today that by basing my Amsterdam RLD visit from a tourist map, I missed a large part of it on the other side of the canal and smaller RLDs in the city completely, so I don't have a complete picture of the Amsterdam RLD scene.

By the way, I was referring to getting to the Dusseldorf FKKs from the Dusseldorf train station. I've been to a few and remember at least one didn't look like it would be accessible unless you had a car or paid a lot for a taxi.
