Sala Opium is mentioned in 2012/08 Giddy - Giddy's Guide to Sevilla, Spain
quote:Sala Opium (2/5 Overall)
Polígono Store C/Calle Escarpia, 25
near intersection with Calle Nivel
Approximate Google Map Coordinates: 37.415471,-5.957833
What To Expect:
Sala Opium is a small club easily identifiable from the outside. Based on my experience and what I've heard, I believe they pay commissions to taxi drivers for bringing you here and pad your cover charge accordingly, whether the cab driver is around or not. I paid 20 euros to get in for which I received 1 drink ticket. Saturday night talent was dismal with only 7 ladies seemingly available at 10pm, maybe more came later, but I doubt it and was unwilling to wait around. Several of the ladies were dogs, and the best looking one was a Colombian named Lena. I got quotes for research purposes. I was told 90 euros for 30 minutes or 160 euros for an hour.
Additional Comments:
I visited Sala Opium because it is somewhat close to Colores. Sala Opium is an evening venue only, I believe, unfortunately I forgot to confirm and I could find no other information on the hours online. The only thing that kept me from giving this place a 1 out of 5 was that the interior was fairly nice, I will reserve the 1's for dirty dump kind of places. The bouncer also seemed like a grade A asshole. I was the only customer most of the time and I did not feel welcome here. I will revisit just to confirm and give them a chance, but I won't look forward to it.
