The Drink Point is an outdoor bar with a metal roof within 1 minutes walking distance of Steve's Bar. The Drink Point differs from Steve's Bar in that it has a more contemporary appearance and it is larger with the ability to seat more people. The traffic reminded me of D' Latin's Sosua with the exception of the white female tourist that were present and the Sankie Pankies and their clients. There were couple there also along with the working girls. The Drink Point has the same feel as D' Latin's in addition it is totally open air as opposed to being partially open air like D' Latin's was before the windows.
The atmosphere was alive and festive and the DJ played a good selection of Reggation, Top 40, Hip Hop and Bachata. The crowd was alive and dancing. Two Politur officers stood on the street watching the action so I felt safe. It had been raining with a slight mist so the weather was cool and very comfortable.
