Good shit Daytimer. Being the king of lurkers I can't wait for anyone to submit a clip or two about. How about it lechero? can you take a camera into pulgas? I bet everyone here wants to know how to tell if a bambi girl is really a girl or a chica-vato with a mucho grande pito.

Interview: Mary de Bambi Club

I have known Mary for a long time. She is a "diamond in the rough" that you can find sometimes on Revolucion. She has always been interesting to me because she is so sweet, yet she works among the transexuals. It has always seemed odd to me. I could never convince her to work at AB or CC.

These are the scariest things I've heard in a long time! It comes off like the soundtrack to a very bad amateur porn video.......you know those ones with the mid50's or 60's old man who interviews the girls before he humiliates himself on film. I've taken a few of the waiters from Unicornio/Isis (Mario, Max, Enrique and a few of the girls) to the internet cafe near Las Pulgas and let them have a listen......I've never seen people laugh so hard in my life. They say it sounds like some old gringo trying to molest young girls, really kinda creepy!......please keep it up Daytimer, these are quickly becoming classic postings.......cheers!

Daytimer:

I was in CC the night of the 18th at the same time as you (10 pm) and saw that "tour group" as well...I got a good look at them as they were bailing-out of the Club-- I was talking to Yazmin at the coat-check window...they-- both boys and girls-- looked like local hi-schoolers on a field trip...complete with adult supervisors...

In retrospect, any further interpretations regarding the appearance of this particular troupe?...

YoungBrig...That tour group was strange alright. I felt like I was in a zoo. Maybe we were the dog exhibit. :-)

Maybe it was a lesson on what not to do in your life. It is too bad they did not talk to us. We could have introduced them to a world I am sure their teachers told them nothing about.

Contraband....I am glad to hear you and your friends have enjoyed the audio files.

I guess you are right about a dirty old gringo molesting young girls. I plead guilt on that. It is true I have done both the girls I have interviewed.

I remind myself of a guy in New York City years ago that had a TV camera and made a cable program by going around town asking girls if they wanted to strip for the show. He would then set the camera on a stand and go on camera and molest them. It was pretty funny how stupid the girls were to let him do it. The girls wanted their 15 minutes of fame, so they let him do it.

In my case though, at least I pay the girls I do.

My capability of easily making Real Audio files took a dump when the free Internet service I was using to make the files went out of business.

Their software allowed me to make low resolution files that still sounded OK.

I figured out how to make RA and MP3 files using Real Juke Box, but there is not a "pause" button that I need for editing purposes.

I am experimenting by sending a MP3 file. The quality is better with this format.

I hope it plays OK for you.

The above file did not open for me. I did not make a MP3 file like I thought I did. Instead it is a Real Media type.

The problem with that file type or an MP3 file is the length of time to download. The streaming Real Audio is the best for a website because it starts to play as the file downloads.

I will continue to search for a way to start making RA files again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

By Daytimer on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 - 11:21 am:  Edit

I found a program to make Real Audio files. So, I am back on the air again. Hopefully the next file posted will work fine.

Hello Daytimer,

I really like your Audio files...Keep up the Good Work...I've been to Tijuana 3 times in the last 2 months and I got to say I Love it..... I will be coming again to TJ later in Dec.2001...I just hope there is no more plane crashes...I'm located in San Jose, CA so I fly.....and little nervous about flying to San Diego...but I can't stop thinking about the HOT Chicas. I saw Sarai...the 1st time I was there...yes the girl you bumped into a few months ago....we had a BLAST together....we hooked up on my last trip and I ended up with her all night. I have a picture of her if you like to see it......

Recommendation: Artist: Celia Cruz Title: La Vida es un Carnaval

Whenever I hear music I recognize that is often played at Adelita's I can not help but visualize the girls in Hottie Central wiggling their butts.

This file was downloaded in Mp3 format and then rendered to Real Audio. The quality of the recording is pretty good. Enjoy.

By Daytimer on Sunday, November 18, 2001 - 07:28 am:  Edit

I have a suggestion for listening to the music. Start the file, then minimize the player and start reading the board as you normally do. It is a nice touch to have some latin music while reading about Latinas.

Hey Daytimer,

I've downloaded quite a few songs that we ofen hear in AB and use Real Jukebox to play 'em. The song you featured here is cool, but I have a slightly different take.

La Vida es un Carnaval by Celia Cruz is a nice tune but a little too jumpy and happy for me.

My favorite time at AB is somewhere between 2 and 4am, it's slowed down...the place is looking kind of misty...partly because I'm buzzed and partly because of the smoke in the place...it's got that surrealistic timeless vibe. Songs like "Por Mujeres Como Tu" by Pepe Aguilar, almost anything by Los Angeles Azules but especially "Como Te Voy A Olvidar"...when it starts you can just visualize the girls leaning against the walls, podiums and bench seats swaying to and fro, "Mi Nina Mujer" get's me there too.

On a happier note I like the Venga Boys (even though they don't play them as much as they used to), especially "Up and Down" for a peppier pace and "We're Going To Ibiza" cuz a former fave of mine was shattered when I told her the lyrics weren't "We're Going To Eat Pizz" that instead Ibiza was an island near Spain. And of course how many sessions has "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!" inspired? Or "We Like To Party!" that'll get your heart pumpin.

Of course Noelia's "Tu" can't be beat when you're sitting there with your arm around an "amiga especial".

All these are available on Winmx btw.

By Redongdo on Tuesday, November 20, 2001 - 07:39 pm:  Edit

Whoops! Just noticed I left out the "a" in "We're Going To Eat Pizz" meant "Pizza" of course.

By Daytimer on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 - 10:51 am:  Edit

Redongdo.....WOW!!! You really know your Mexican music. I love the music, but I am not very knowledgeable. Not understanding the lyrics does not help any either.

I am very happy you listed some artists and songs. I will download them and enjoy them. I will also post another couple here for others who are not into the dowloading thing.

BTW, I am using Morpheus for downloading.

Not at all Daytimer, the ones I listed are real common. Wait till you download them, you'll recognize them right off.

Recommendation: Mi Nina Mujer Artist: Los Angeles Azules

Thanks to Redongdo I was able to identify and download very recognizable music from Adelita's Bar. I can't help but have some very nice images in my mind when I hear them.

Recommendation: TJ Club Mix - Venga Boys

This is a mix of tunes from the Venga Boys. You will hear these tunes in many clubs in TJ. I can't tell you how many girls I have seen strip to this music. I have many good memories listening to this.

By Milkman on Thursday, November 22, 2001 - 11:41 pm:  Edit

hi
thanks Daytimer!
Yes those Venga Boys must write their music just for these dancing girls !!!

i have all these tunes on cd , just not the names of the artists or song titles.

you can get a cd full of songs for around 5 smacks at any swap meet

take care and thanks
milkman
P.S. thanks diego i love that song !!

By Daytimer on Friday, November 23, 2001 - 06:53 am:  Edit

Milky...The Venga Boys are really something how their music has dominated the clubs in TJ. I wonder if they had any idea when releasing all those songs that so many drunk horny mongers in TJ would be watching so many girls dance. I am sure it was not their priority at the time. But you have got to love it.

My current favorite singer is Noelia. I can not get enough of her. She has done a large number of songs that I like. I think I am in love.

These music files are awesome. Please continue to put them up here.

Nothing triggers memories like music. You just don't hear music like this out here on the East Coast. And for someone like me who can't go to TJ very often, it's about as close as I'll come to being there in the near future.

Okay... I'll stop the sentimental spewing now. Seriously, Daytimer, thanks for posting these.

hi

yes i also like her.
i have thought one song but didnt know who sang it.
Now i will go out and buy all her cds !!
You just earned yourself the 1rst honorary Milkmans monger of the year award.

That is a true accomplishment !!!
Wear the badge with honor !!!

Next time you go to Tj let me know and i will show you TJ through my eyes !!

Gee Daytimer,

You're the greatest thing since peanut butter. How did you come up with such a great selection of songs?

By Daytimer on Friday, November 23, 2001 - 01:07 pm:  Edit

Milky....Thanks for the honor. I appreciate your compliments. I would love to meet you sometime in TJ. I am sure you could show me a thing or two.

Redongdo...I thank you for listing some of the songs. Armed with your information I was able to download the songs from Morpheus. If you can suggest some more titles and artists I would be glad to post some more.

Technical notes: I am posting the songs in Real Audio because it is "streaming" technology that requires only a few seconds to buffer before it starts playing. Unlike MP3, it does not have to be downloaded entirely before playing.

Mp3 has superior quality versus Real Audio. I suggest that others do what I have done. Any of the selections that I like I download them in MP3 format and store them and listen to them on my computer. Using earphones makes it even better. The Real Audio files are good for listening one time and deciding if you want to hear the selections in the future. The RA files lend themselves well for Internet use, but do not compare to the quality of MP3.

By Tight_Fit on Friday, November 23, 2001 - 02:23 pm:  Edit

Daytimer, just about anything from Pepe Aguilar is good. Try looking for El Amar Y El Querer. Killer love song.

"Some" of the songs? Geez....ok that's it...I give up...you guys win.

When I listen to these songs I can smell the inside of Tropical Bar,someone once said it was a combination of chlorine, urine and the sweet smell of sweat. Not to romantic, but familiar, anyway, I'm used to it...I think we need a scratch and sniff for TJ next.

Recommendation: La Canoaa Ranchaa - Grupo Niche

This is the music posted earlier by Diego. I have rendered the MP3 file in the highest quality mode of Real Audio. This file should play at a higher quality level than the previous titles I have posted.

Give it a try and see what you think.
