Has anyone ever had any good or bad experiences in this bar? It's located on 1st and Constitucion and has an underground entrance. It's a place where the $10 American crack and meth ho's go to do their business and get high. I've seen them snorting dope off the bar. The beer is cheap too. I've gone there several times and have gotten laid or received blow jobs in the bathroom. A lot of seedy looking dope dealer types hang out in this bar. I've never seen any posts about this place. Definitely for the hardcore only.

Yeah, there are a lot of trashy looking American women in this place. The majority of them will blow you or lay you without a condom. Like I said, it's a risky place in more ways than one.

However, I have found some decent looking American women in here from time to time. The best is a dirty blonde named "Marie" who will fuck you like there's no tomorrow for $20 bucks. Explorer8939, it's probably the word of mouth from their fellow American drug addicts and the sudden availability of drugs in the bar from the numerous dope dealers who hang out there. Marie also told me that it is illegal for American women to work in the Mexican whore bars. They have to be of Mexican or Hispanic descent. For that reason, some of them won't speak to you in English if they don't know you. When I met Marie, I met her at Las Chavelas and she would only speak to me in Spanish there. Then she took me to this place where she was able to let her guard down and speak to me in English. I guess this bar protects the American ho's in more ways than one. That's why you'll see all the new American skank ho's either in this bar, or hanging on the corner next to this specific bar.

I don't know about that, the skanks I have done from that corner all speak only spanish and are NOT "white girls".

The farthest I've seen an American "white girl" whore go, is Marie, who was hanging out on Constitucion across from that Odessa 2001 place (well, if you don't count the fact that I met her at Las Chavelas to begin with.) There is another American named Johanna who hangs out in front of the Hotel Diamante, but doesn't come out until 4 in the morning. She's Mexican-American, and I don't speak a lick of Spanish with her either. We talk in perfect fluid English. Poke your head into this bar and you'll find a strung out white girl from time to time. Sometimes I go in here and watch them dance when they're all fucked up.

Anyone know a short flaca Mexican American girl named Jessica about 24 yrs old. What is her story. Claimed to be from San Jose, CA. Taxibob, this is definitely a seedy, hardcore bar and I wouldn't go in here at night by yourself unless you're with a group and/or somewhat mildly sober. It's a little safer to go in during the early afternoon hours when it's still light out. Order a few drinks from the bartender and be a good tipper. He's been good to me and will help you out by pointing out some of the good girls. He will remember your face and will take care of you next time.

If the girl is to my liking and business was good, I always come back and tip him another $5. They would prefer your business, instead of getting you ripped off and never having you come back. The bartender that I'd recommend to you has a shaved head, goatee, usually wears a baseball cap, and has a stocky build. They have another bartender at night (who currently has a bandage on his nose) and the crowd gets considerably rougher-looking. Use extra caution and common sense during these late hours.

As stated before, some of the women here look very rough, but you may find that occasional decent looking gringa who needs to work to make her rent and will not be able to get licensed to do so in La Zona Norte (can you imagine what would happen to the Mexican women if they opened up the Zona Norte to Americans? Maybe that's why they have that law and maybe that's why Marie refused to talk to me in Spanish at Las Chavelas. She dragged me to this place so we could talk in English.)

Some of the women in here will do the unsafe things that American hooker skanks are prone to do for that rock, or hit of meth. Their prices for half and half, start out at $10 to $15. Some will fuck or suck you without a condom. Some will do it in that bathroom, do it in a nearby hotel for a $3 charge, or take you back to their place to get the hotel charge.

What I found really odd, was that when the Federales and soldiers shut down the all of the Zona Bars the other night, they left this bar completely alone.

Yeah, it's quite a freak show alright. And one with an American flavor at that. I also come in here for the cheap beer and to watch all of the various races and age groups that mingle here. It can be quite a bizarre sight.

When I go by myself during the late night hours, I always sit on the benches to my immediate right as I walk down into this bar. My back is always to the wall and I'm watching the crowd.

I wouldn't recommend that anyone sit at the bar with their back to anyone in this place.

Sometimes I like to sit at the bar... but none of the stools have any cushions - they just have the little square mounting plates on top!

Be careful of some of the stools by the jukebox - they've been broken off their moorings, and tip over real easy!

They've got about 4 or 5 pictures of what Revoluccion looked like at various stages of the early 20th century... one of them shows the outside and inside of the The Long Bar. These photos are mounted on the walls at the ends of the bar in fairly small 5x7" frames. To be able to see them, you usually have to squeeze behind the people who are seated at the ends of the bars.

I wonder why they got rid of The Long Bar gimmick? It seems like it would be a good draw.

Went to the Long Bar as a kid. More guys hit over the head with beer bottles at the Long Bar than any place in TJ. Anyone remember The Blue Fox?

I have a buddy of mine who is in to the wierd, sick, twisted, dirty and disgusting. So I told him I read a post on this place and of course he wanted to check it out. Well as it turns out he's not as into it as he thought he would be.

This was my first trip into this bar. I don't have much to add, except we walked in around 5 PM or so on a Saturday afternoon and my friend immediately says "Where's all the crack whores?" The fat guy who was trying to sell us a beer said "what?" I said "Where are all the girls?" He said it's not that kind of bar but then said that we could have what ever we wanted. Beer, whisky, tequilla, rum, marijuana, crystal, cocain, herion, etc.

I thought it was pretty funny that with in 3 minutes of meeting us he was offereing us every drug under the sun.

Yeah, it's that kind of bar alright. I'm surprised there weren't any crack-meth-ho's at that time. You'd probably find them in there within a few hours. Last time I was there, one of them approached me and we went to her place to do some business.

No, she didn't have a Texas accent. This one looked like a white female, but only spoke to me in Spanish. But if I went into this bar looking for someone that's decent looking and has a great attitude, I'd ask the bartender when Marie is going to be there. She likes working out of this bar but is very sporadic.

Made my first trip into the cave on Friday afternoon around 4. Jukebox was blaring Hotel California and it just seemed to fit. Not a whole lot of people, mostly shady looking guys at the tables near the banos that I didnt care to make eye contact with. The bartender was a tall skinny dude with a pencil-thin moustache.Two or 3 gals at the bar and one gal who looked like Larry Bird on the benches to the right of the door. (I say OR because I wasnt too sure about one of them LOL) Decided since the place was so empty that I would take my chances at the bar. One was counting the flecks in the paper that covers the bar. The other was just singing along with the jukebox, not bad looking and smiled alot. She was maybe 5'3, 5'4, light brown hair and a small tatoo on the back of her right shoulder.Finally asks me to buy her a beer (ed. note: $3 for a 40 oz!)and we start talking a bit. She asked me to buy her a couple cigs for $2 which I poiltely declined (a personal thing). Told her I would buy her beers though and we both laughed. Dont remember her name but she said (in broken English) she was always there. We talked a while longer and I decided to leave in search of Monica. It was around 6 and while there werent a lot more people in there, I remembered the warning from an earlier post about being there alone at night.
Got about 50 feet down the hill when this guy starts running up beside me asking if I wanted to find a girl. I politely but firmly told him no. He said he was watching me in the bar, told me about the beers i bought etc. This was the scary part cuz I never even noticed him in there. He was maybe 5'6 muscular with short black hair and a beard and moustache wearing a white athletic shirt. By now I have darted into the street headed for the alley and this dude was right on my heels saying he wanted 2 dollars and I should give him money since I was talking to his woman. After a brief 10 feet on the sidewalk just past the alley, I cut back to the street (and almost got hit by a cab) with him staying close and me not able to shake him. Got my lucky break when I was in the street by Odissea 2001 he was on the sidewalk and there were 4 policia on the sidewalk. He immediately quieted down but was still watching me. I didnt want to make an issue with the police as I had some Vitamin V in my pocket so I switched to Plan B which involved jumping into the first cab I saw thus ending my zona experience for the day.
This was my first real safety issue in the zona in the 3+ years Ive been going down. I credit remembering the tips and the constant reminders from my brothers on this board with helping me get out of this one before it became a major problem. Funny thing is I actually wouldnt mind going in there again but not alone (beers are on me!). The beer is cheap ($1.50 for a 12oz Pacifico), it was cool considering it was 95 degrees that day and they had good music on the jukebox. Besides, I want to ask the other gal how many flecks WERE on the bar paper!! (then again....maybe not!)

Glad to hear you made it out OK and heeded the advice on these boards. I had a friend wait for me once in this bar and he told me he started to get a bad feeling.

First of all, the bartender (a skinny guy with a bandage on his nose) gave him a FREE extra beer (Gee, you don't think they were trying to get him drunk, huh?)

Then he saw a trio of ratero-looking guys start to form a triangle around him. One of the guys pointed at my friend and they started talking to one another. He also made the mistake of sitting at the bar, with his back to the rateros, therefore setting himself up for a nice choke hold.

At this time, I walked in and they immediately backed off. If you ever saw me in person, you would know why they backed off and why I can go in here alone at all hours of the night :-}

This bar is know by the locals as "the worm hole". I went there one time when a working girl I trusted invited me out for drinks and dancing to the jukebox. It is a good place for cheap drinks, but I would not feel comfortable there alone. The girl I was with told me not to worry because no one would fuck with me as long as she was with me. That turned out to be true. I was treated well by the bartender and I tipped him well. He was very appreciative.

The Worm Hole is not on my list though for the future. I have seen two serious incidences at that bar with some serious fights that went out onto the street. One guy was hurt pretty bad when he was knocked backwards and split his head open on the sidewalk. It happened right behind me as I was walking down the hill. I got the hell out of there before the cops came.

By the way, stopped in last weekend and they said it was closed for 10 days for repairs (at least that is what they told me). Bar tender seemed suprisingly nice. Hopefuly it won't lose its seedy character.

They put in a new tile floor, and it does look better... same music, basically the same old crowd... there is this one chick(?) that had a big rooster hidden in a small blue zippered-bag... while I was at the bar, she took it out right next to me... TOTALLY freaked me out.

Is it still the same crowd after the remodel?

He's the only bartender there that I would recommend.

Yeah, across from taurino and a few paces down the hill. From the entry you walk downstairs to a basement bar. As Explorer indicates, you'll hear rock n' roll coming up to the street.

Quite the dive. You can't miss the smell of marijuana and crack, along with the parade of 30 pound 40+ year old crack whores streaming in and out of the place... oh yeah, they play rock music too!!

Many interesting offers have come out of this place. One girl offered me and a buddy 1 hour and we could use all 3 holes for $25 total!! What a shithole!! I LOVE IT!!!! It's replaced the I/U on Revo as my new favorite place to see the parade of skanks!!

Unless you're comfortable with sitting among such folks I would recommend you stay away unless you have a wingman.
