Ah, that's where you and my TJ trip buddy "David" differ. He doesn't treat them like a piece of meat. He spends untold hours (as well as $$) on them, wines and dines them, and as for Marianna, he loves her for her mind, as well as her curvy figure.

My point is that SGs don't offer up their pearls of wisdom unless there is funding for such behavior. If your man David is getting his pearls for free, then more power to him, I don't qualify for that treatment, I can hardly get Miss M to talk to me on the street, the rare times that I see her.

Explorer, I don't know what you've done to alienate her. Are you some sort of monster?!?! She's the friendliest and most generous of spirit chica on the street, frequently eager just to hang out. She drowns her amigos in her pearls of wisdom and wonderful disposition...free of charge.

She was ecstatic to hear his voice when I handed her the phone and to hear his promise of coming into TJ soon to see her again.

Yeah, I saw her the other night. She saw me from a distance and fled to the hotel for the night.

I finally caught up with Miss M for a session last night, and had quite an interesting time. Unfortunately, she's not in quite as good shape as last year, the years are beginning to take their toll. Still, a very nice girl, and her technique has improved since last year.

She says that she just stood by Hacienda the other day because she was talking to a friend, and then Marisol came by to stand by her, too, but that could just be SG BS.

Wow, so she's put on a few pounds, huh? Sounds like my kinda chica! but for respect out out of my friend, I view miss M. as a friend, only.

Just read these posts to my TJ trip buddy "David" who's been looking over my shoulder reading the latest posts, and he told me to advise all mongers Miss M. is very well aware of her age and weight and is contemplating possible retirement. He's tried to get her to vacation in Ca. for the last two years, but she's always declined.

He's been let down by her for so long now, he's no longer getting his hopes up. In my opinion, "D" has offered her a lottery ticket and she seems too stupid to cash it in? What's with this chicas who have a civilian lifestyle offered to them by some love-hungry lonely gringo like us, but refuse to bite?

How can I explain this to Mr. "D" so that he understands? Let me try it this way:

1) Ms M is deathly afraid of permanent separation from her family down south. She is worried that to cross the border illegally could mean that she can't return to Mexico. You won't be able to argue this point with her.

2) Also, if she crosses illegally and gets caught, she cannot cross legally for more than 5 years, if ever.

3) Her hope is that "D" will pay to send her home for a while, that he will visit her there, and work with her to file papers in her home area so that she can cross the border legally to live with him.

Not really unreasonable plans. If "D" is truely interested in her, he will go along with her request, if not, well, someone else surely will down the road, or else her padrote will do something different.

I'll pass it on, thanks. Didn't know that about the part where if a Mexican national is caught crossing illegally, they cannot cross for five years thereafter.

I have to agree with Exploder. It is a BIG change (and a risk) for any chica who has close ties to her family.

The chicas who don't have those ties, or don't care, are much more willing to take the risks.

ALSO, it is very, very difficult for a chica to get legal papers in TJ if she has been working in the ZN. IF she files in Mexico City, however, she can claim that she has been working in the south, the US embassy won't link her to this mongering business.

My point is that the offer from "D" ain't so good for Miss M as currently conceived, he needs to consider her point of view.

So, whatever happened to the big romance, is "D" still pining away?

Yes, he is. As a matter of fact he called me from his place of employment two days ago and was having an anxiety attack over the possibility of another knight/monger in shining armor whisking Ms. M away off her feet and living happily ever after from the seedy world of hooking.

I told him to not worry too much about someone else stealing his only love interest as I'd heard recently from another CH board member Miss M. has increased her weight somewhat and is also consciencious about her added pounds.

"D" has gone onto more greener pastures and is now head over heels with another SG from the alley. He asked me not to mention her name, but she stands right near the Las Cascadas entrance.

As for me (in case you were wondering) I'm in semi-retirement, but I sure do miss the ongoing novela of the Zona Norte.

I think it's time to come out of retirement.

Yeah, I guess he is. And get this-he's more of a TJ monger than anyone else on this board, but he's still not a CH member (yet) because he's still trying to pay off all the other depts over some other ex-hooker from the Zona who broke his heart and left him broke.

In fact, he's such a frequent visitor to the Zona, some local street guys actually think he's either a Padrote he lives there. You've probably seen him in your travels.

But to answer your question, is he unbalanced...well, I guess you could say that for the majority of us (mongers) who've loved and lost with ex-hookers from Mexico. Me included. This is why I too wonder whether or no my desire to pursue hookers is in itself emotional distress.

Mariana has put on a couple of lbs., but is not in the 'masterbates zone' by any stretch. However, she now refuses to even talk to me, as of 10/2, why I don't know, but I think it is related to the fact that I acted as translator for 'david' and his new love who stands by las cascadas. How she would know about that I don't know, but secrets are hard to keep down there. She knows we know each other. So I don't know if her attitude has changed with her weight or if she is just mad at me for the reason mentioned, so don't let this necessarily scare you off of her. Also, she is now standing almost to the corner of the alley on constitution the last few times I've seen her.

Well, I'm sure that she is not happy that "D" is no longer seeing her.
