Hotel Leon is directly across from Mexico Lindo and for $85 they have a very large room with jacuzzi and huge shower and bathroom. If you are ever there just ask them and they will show it to you - they have about six of those rooms. Also as the day manager pointed out to me they are aware that they are next to Mexico Lindo and guests are not hassled. Also they have free underground parking.
