First time I'd been in LC in a while--place looks great, and there were at least a few real cuties on Friday night when I was there. Hooked up with a guy named Jesus I didn't know but who sat at my table and then we started buyin' each other beers, yellin' our fool heads off about how great it was to be drunk and in TJ surrounded by nekkid girls. He recommended a girl whose name I have now forgotten at LC and she wound up making out with me at the booth after about 15 minutes of talking and drinking. We wound up hangin' at several other clubs, and I eventually won the drinking competition when he passed out in a booth at AB at the end of the night. He came to and made his way to a cab, while I then headed off to my room at the HOtel Coahuila, where a warm AB girl was waiting to spend the night with her 'querido.'

Yes, I agree TC is a lot better than before. The new bar in the back is real nice and they play some disco music now.

I tried out Angelina, a blond who was born in TJ. At first, I was rather apprehensive, since she seemed to a bad attitude in the bar. In the hotel, she really got into her work, and I purchased her services again, the next night.

Angelina is about 20, 1 kid, classic story, the ex-husband is nowhere to be found.

Nice body, bad teeth. She wears a necklace with a big "A" to remind her of her name. I think she works weekend nights only, she has a day job Monday - Thursday.

I was at las chavelas on monday night. It appeared to have a good selection of woman. The crowd was pretty good for a monday night. I think this place is really starting to come into its own. Some spanish is a plus here.

Las Chavelas is definitely the place to go after my Adelita fix. They've remodeled the place and it looks great. I was there a few Saturdays ago and found the women very friendly. They were aggressive like they were in Adelitas. I walked in during the variedades and danced for awhile. Didn't see anyone that I wanted to sleep with, but I'm definitely going back for a second look.

There are a couple of waiters there in the daytime who are good guys. Santiago from the old Hong Kong is short, balding, in his late twenties, and speaks decent English. He's my favorite waiter in the zona. Oliver is a bigger guy with no English, but a pretty good guy. There are a few other good ones whose names I don't know, but there are also a lot of real jerks there on both shifts.

For my 7th trip to la zona,early on a Saturday night, I finally branched out beyond Adelita's and checked out some of the other places. Adelita's was extremely crowded that night -worse than the other Saturday's nights I had been there. I did one of my faves at Adelita's but afterward I checked out all of the places nearby including La Tropa, Chicago Club, La Tropical, El Pelicano, El Amor Latino, the Pollo Club, and Las Chavelas.

Las Chavelas was the only one that seemed interesting, with a lot of energy. The chica selection was not as good as AB's but there were some friendly eager cuties in LC's. I ended up doing two cute gorditas with big titties and nice round asses, Veronica and Jasmine. Veronica was fairly aggressive in the bar, and good fuck. Jasmine was very shy in the bar, but a tiger in la cama. Jasmine's a very hot and eager fuck, will do her again. Both girls gave off a good vibe that said that they loved sex.

The hotel LC uses has OK rooms for $12, but they have only one towel in the room for both you and the girl.

Two towels - It may cost up to a dollar more but the front desk at most of the zona hotels will give an extra towel or sheet upon request. I like the convenience and comfort of both.

Went to Las Chavelas again last night. I getting to like it a lot more than AB's. The girls seem more real, more willing to dance and socialize, and less high-volume. Also more passionate and less mechanical in la cama. More of a GFE.

They also dress really slutty, which I like. Just the right amount of sleaze, IMHO.

And there are fewer gringos and the atmosphere seems more mexicana than AB's, yet still a nice place to sit, big and easy to move around, decent bano - in short, not a complete dump like some of the other non-AB/CC bars in the area.

I've been going on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a good selection. I've been paying $40 for half hour mostly, $80 for an hour, and $100 for 90 minutes. I asked one chica about toda la noche and she said $200, but I went with 90 minutes instead and then drank and danced with her afterward.

Are these fair amounts for LC's? Hope I haven't been overpaying.

Only downside is I have gotten quite attached to one favorita and that makes it hard to sample some of the others when she is there. I guess I'll have to start visiting LC's on the nights she isn't there.

Although I don't pay more than $40 for the half hour treatment, it usually last a lot longer, because I almost always rent a room for the night.

*If* I were to pay for longer time, I certainly wouldn't do a schedule of $40/$80/$100, I would do no more than $60 for the hour, and $80 for the 90 minutes.

I would strongly suggest doing the ficha thing with chicas other than your favorita ASAP, so you don't get sucked into having to avoid the bar to avoid problems with the chica. You need to let her know who is the boss.

My current fave at LC is Carla from Los Mochis, very exuberant, but unfortunately, drinks a little too much.

No, I am not suggesting that you try to hang with other chicas when your fave *isn't* there, you need to do when she is there, so she understands that she doesn't have a monopoly over you.

I like Las Chavelas too. It's less smoky and there's lots of room to sit or walk around. The atmosphere suits me after making my initial trip into AB. Then I go back and forth between the two clubs. The little cowboy-midget-bathroom attendant in the bathroom is a trip too. I don't mind tipping the guy instead of some of the rude asshole-attendants at AB.

What exactly is "ficha" in english? I assume it is when you buy her drinks, right?

A ficha is a ticket or a token. When we buy the gals drinks, the waiter gives the gal one or more fichas, which they later turn in either for credit or for cash.

So, for example, a one ficha drink is $4 at the Chicago Club, and a two ficha drink is $8. The fichas at CC are worth $2 each to the gal.

Last Saturday, I had a real GFE experience with one of the meseras. A couple of hours of the ficha thing, lots of slow dances, lots of suggestive conversation, and then finally, up to the hotel, with a lot of enthusiasm.

Big fun. I don't think you'll get that kind of experience too often in AB. What you'll get is a couple of minutes of 'fucky-sucky?', and maybe a good experience in the hotel, or maybe not.

Was at Las Chavelas from 1:00 AM until about 4:00 AM. Was very impressed with the chica selection. Is this a norm here? BTW, it was great meeting you Epimetheus... Hope to hook up with you and Texas Mike again real soon. Was that drive back to LA a drag?

You have no idea how ugly that drive was. I hit the freeway about 5:00 and was home by 6:30. The first half hour was fine, but then it got a little surreal. The other cars started looking like the blobs in a lava lamp. I felt like I was in a David Lynch movie. Next time I'll know better - I'll stay the night with the girl!!

I too was impressed with the Tuesday night talent. No scorchers, but plenty of hot, tasty treats. There was this girl with an ass you could calibrate instruments on - it was that round... Yesterday afternoon at ~ 5 PM Las Chavelas had an ~ hour long floorshow featuring 6+ chicas. As is usually the case w/ Las Chavelas, none were drop dead gorgeous (although the uber-hottie Daniela from Tropical WAS there working), but most had an upbeat attitude. While three song sets are often used in the afternoon at Tropical to prolong the floorshow, the Chavelas girls stopped at 2 songs (good, imo, as 10 minutes of the same girl shiffling along with no bared chi chis can get old FAST), and all got at least topless midway through the second song. The last few chicas even managed to lower their bikini bottoms to at least mid-thigh, and the last girl yanked hers off completely.

On this Thursday afternoon there were ~15 chicas working in the bar, but fully half of them were stuffed in two adjoining booths in the middle of the bar near the dance floor like they had circled the wagons to protect against enemy (the GUYS!) attack. The chicas appeared to be quite enjoying themselves and cheered on their amigas as they took the floor to dance.

No 2x1 drinks at Las Chavelas anytime, which may explain why there were only about 10 dudes in the bar to witness this long, long floorshow. But in my book, few guys, many chicas is a GOOD ratio!

I have no idea what the prospects are of taking any particular afternoon chica at Chavelas to the hotel, but the show yesterday was worth checking out if you are in no hurry to get laid.

While at LC the past two weeks noticed a short, not bad looking waitress, She is about 4'11, 100lbs. I would say she is about 30, with short hair. For some reason she caught my eye, is she doable, I mean would she go to the room or is she off base. Does anyone no her and what her name is.

If you're a frequent visitor to the Las Chavelas, you may wish to get to know some of the personnel who work there. They can be a good source of information in telling you who's new and who's popular amongst the patrons.

for instance, Santiago is very familiar with me and my friend "David" who frequent the LC on an almost weekly basis. Santiago is short, about 5'6, short balding hair. Works sometimes as a waiter, then as a day manager there, and is especially friendly and couteous when you leave him a good tip. He will oblige with any new and good information about the chica's providing you cross his palm with the dinero.

Santiago speaks good English because he lived in Riverside, Ca. for a few years and he is fully aware there is a web site (like this) where he says he knows his name has been mentioned in a positive light. I told him I would spread his good name and asked him to be be extra generous with good chica info to all visiting mongers because, you never know, the very next customer could quite possibly be a ClubHombre site monger! He laughed at this and agreed.

Seconded on Santiago. He set me up with Doris a few weeks back, who wants to marry me and gave me my first upstairs experience that was more like GFE. When Doris wasn't there this past Saturday, I described what else I wanted, and Santiago took care of me.

So I took her back downstairs, bought her another two drinks, and she gave me her phone number (cell and hotel) and demanded that I call her when I return in six weeks. We went up once more, and she outperformed her previous routine (still BBBJTC, but that's all I wanted at this point), and we parted. She apparently normally works at Tropicale.

Oops, getting off topic with a mini-trip report. But Santiago is definitely the man. If you want something, he can get it. And he speaks very good English, handy for a loco gringo like me.

I was hitting it pretty regularly during the daytime about 18 to 24 months back (maybe even before that)and was really impressed with the quality of the dancers/strippers working at that time. I changed jobs after that and haven't been able to make it down early since. I'm free now and was wondering if the quality is still there. I'm pretty certain they still have the strippers, but do they still have the quality? When I was going most of the dancers easily rivaled the ladies in Adelita's. There was the large Anna Nicole Smith lookalike named Italia and several others that were superhot. How about an update?

LC's a good place to hang out and enjoy a beer and watch the ladies without any type of pressure from the waiters or the girls there.

I was there once during a sunday afternoon and there was a descent amount of girls just sitting around with each other and barely any guys at all. There was about 6 girls on stage just dancing around to the music. No stripping or anything. I grabbed a Tecate beer and enjoyed the ladies for a little while and decided to leave.

Yup, Santiago is really great. One thing none of them will tell you though is LC still sells cubetas, that is, a bucket of 8 lady beers for $28. That will save you a lot of ficha money if you want to sit with a girl for a while. Of course the girl won't get as much from it, so I give the girl a little tip, and that slows them down on the drinking too. Some of the girls can drink pretty fast though, an hour for a cubeta, so I buy them a single first then suggest a cubeta if that one lasts for a while. Of course, most of the girls don't speak much english, but spanish is not so hard to learn. Knowing how to dance well helps a lot too. Many of the girls will be glad to teach you if you ask em...

I wandered into LC about 6 PM on Sunday and there is now a whole herd of heifers there. Not a pretty sight.

I agree that most of the time you can't expect much at this bar. But you never know and busier times of the week can really surprise you with the number of hotties. Last Friday was one of those times. The heifers were there, but so were a nice selection of slender calves.

Er....excuse me, "Reytj" and "Adecirverdad" these "heffers" you describe are exactly the reason why I keep patronizing this bar.

has anybody ever spent the night upstairs at this place?? Everytime time I've taken a chica upstairs it seems real quiet. I even had one girl tell me that if i wanted to stay the night they would put me further upstairs and that the rooms were nicer. It seems quiet upstairs because a lot of mongers avoid the hotel. It turns out if you rent a room for the night at that hotel, they charge you extra for bringing girls up to your room.

jbr1176, "upstairs at this place" is the locally famous Hotel Cascades, probably the most discussed hotel in the history of the TJ boards - check under hotels in Discus for reams of discussion. At least until recently when the hotel began enforcing extra "per session" charges, it was the most popular overnight destination in the zona and serviced many clubs in addition to LC as well as the SG trade.

I don't know if it is significantly less popular now due to the "boycott" since I haven't been there. This is by far the largest hotel in the zona and the upper rooms can be relatively quiet as most of the rooms in this hotel are used for overnight guests as opposed to AB/CC hotels which cater mostly to short term business. Cascades gets plenty of that but services bars which are less short term session oriented than AB & CC. It also is a chica dormitory with plenty of bar girls from the associated clubs calling the place home.

As long as you aren't on the 2nd floor immediately above the clubs, it can be a comparatively peaceful environment for the zona...still though it has generally been described through the years as "noisy" -- but that would be compared to the Holiday Inn Express in Chula Vista.

Cascadas is still very busy. Even though it charges for extra girls, you get one girl for free. That can effectively reduce a $31 room to a reduction of around $12 for a bar girl or $7 for a girl on the street.
This is if you take a girl up from Hong Kong, Tropical, Las Chavelas, Miami.
I have always had one free girl. They openly discuss it at the counter. I have heard varying stories. But if you want to stay here arriving on a Sat, you had better have a reservation as they will sell out.
The boycott has seemed to have very little impact on the weekend, although I believe weekday warriors will have a better idea.

i disagree. There the cascades looked like a ghost town the last few weekends. Noone hanging out at the lobby, and no sight of any long time guests. Even the SGs out front looked like they were hurting. I saw mari stand for 1 hour without a customer during prime time, and it was the night of the fight.
