Mariana charged the standard SG rate for gringos, $20.

BTW, the standard conversation on the street between a local and a SG is:

Local: "Cuanto cobras?"
SG: "Ciento viente"
Local: "El viente es para el cuarto?"
SG: "Si"
Local: "Vamos"

All this is conducted in near silence, the local gets real close to the chica to conduct this conversation. And, it happens in about 3 seconds. If it takes longer, usually negotiations break down.

The above example assumes the hotel charges 20 pesos for short time. YMMV.

Wow, I'm surprised that SG would charge you more for the second trip than the first.

I went to TJ for a two day trip on Wednesday/Thursday and I didn't see her there this time, but the trip before, a month ago, she was about 20 feet north of the alley, holding up the La Hacienda wall, at about 8pm.
