Dave, Thanks again for being such a great host when I make my visits to AngelWitch. I have been in and out of almost every gogo bar in Pataya and bangkok, but A/W seems to be my home away from home. Mamasons are a bit pushy, but even more pushy in every other bar, especially Rainbow 1. I will be back again, but wanted to know one thing, what is the best time to get in there and walk out with a superstar. It seems I am always just missing out on the girls I want. I am very picky when it comes to barfining, as you probably can tell. Is 8:00 too early to stop in? Well, Thanks again and see you again in March...

Hi Senioreric, thanks for the kind words. All these compliments will make me blush LOL! To be honest A-W can be a bit tricky for timing because it is predominantly a show bar. Too early and the top babes aren't there, too late and they are taken or busy with shows. IMO between 9pm and 10pm you can still get a seat and the babes are all arriving by this time. We are not a pussy factory like the Rainbow bars! Look forward to seeing you again.

For all you that are convinced Dave has me on the payroll (after my last TR), The last few days AW has had a pathetic lineup. Still quite crowded around feature dance time, but IMHO packed with dogs. Anything that resembled a hot spinner my last trip must of decided to spend the holidays with their moneyko!

Resident farangs see the highs and lows of the holiday periods year after year. Christmas is a strange time, tonight I saw the return of some of our star troopers, it's the same every December. The go-go bars are quiet early on in the evening and of course the top BG's have not even arrived yet. Angelwitch is certainly no exception and the Superstars don't even arrive until Showtime (10.00-12.30). After DM and EPI left AW had a fantastic night as Piglet and Jokerman will confirm. The bar filled up for Showtime (as per usual) and we actually had more BF's and a good six figure take. People who were there WAY too early would not have seen any of this, however those in the know did. With a full bar almost every night at Showtime there are plenty of guys having a great time and this is what matters most.

Dave, I'm not on the profit sharing plan for AW so I really don't care if the place is packed. There really isn't much competition in bkk now is there? In addition, my comments had nothing to do with whether AW was a fun place to chill (more to your point)-- it was that there was a major drop in talent.

The primary thing I care about is hot spinners with good personalities-- not rub elbows with a room packed with farangs. I was in AW three nights when it was packed during your primetime, and I'll stick by my characterization/s from last week. You had a bunch of sows or aged talent on stage. I'm willing to learn "from those in the know" in a day or so, I'll make it point to pop in during your primetime so these sages can point out all the stunners.

In fairness, I'm giving you a days notice so you can cut back on the rice rations ;)

Angelwitch is packed out at Showtime and on main nights I can't get a seat myself! So AW is still extremely popular and as the old saying goes the proof is in the pudding. Some of the Showgirls are absolutely stunning and AW will continue to please the masses. With a packed bar AW can't be doing much wrong. It's not everybodies taste but the owners are out to make serious cash and that they do very well. BTW as for a talent drop in Nana Plaza, Rainbow 1 had 94 BF's last night. Name a bar that has achieved more except Rainbow 4 and you could have a case. This is what I mean by being in the know, we have access to this kind of information. The success of these two bars just mentioned is extremely evident. A lot of customers want to be entertained and enjoy themselves, thankfully not everybody is a hardcore sex tourist.

Dave, if your solely a numbers guy then the proof is in the pooding that pattaya is 1000% better than bkk... after all numbers don't lie.

I made an observation that nana (including AW) lineups quality had dropped in the last month. I'm not sure what the # of BFs at particular bar/s has or the # of farangs at your place has to do with my point... I suppose your assumption is that the BFs are hotties eh?



In the interests of credibility, I find it humorous that folks have a "discerning eye and great tastes" when they praise a place, but when they state a differing opinion-- they are 1) a hardcore sex tourist 2) not patient 3) not in the know 4) etc, etc...

Put away your business hat once in a while and take honest and sincere comments at face value. If/when I see the lineup quality change for the better, I'll be the first to say so. I have always enjoyed going in AW and find it a quality place. However, you need to work on your line-up. That's my opinion-- your welcome to yur own.

IMO it's quite simple, bars like Rainbow 1 and Angelwitch are packing the customers in because they have attractive BG's. The Rainbow bars do tons of Barfines because they have very attractive BG's. All these guys packing these bars out and taking out loads of BG's is proof they have attractive BG's. These two bars in particular are fun and entertaining too. I think it's remarkable how well the top Nana Plaza bars are doing considering the draconian laws they have to suffer.

The relevance to numbers I think is simple. The Rainbow's do tons of BF's because they have a lot of hot babes. Asian men frequent these bars and I think Asian men have extremely discerning eyes for very attractive Asian women. Angelwitch and the Rainbow bars are excellent bars with very attractive BG's, this is what I'm pointing out.

With few exceptions everyone here is more interested in the quality of the girls available as opposed to the quality of the show. I for one have always hated the shows - even the old hardcore sex shows were just plain boring . I would much rather see a stage full of hot pooying ,preferrably nude but skimpy bikinis will do ,who are trying to get my attention and get me to take them out than watch two or three - usually hard core pros who think their shit don't stink - girls do some choreographed routine.

That your bar does great business is testimony that there is a market for that kind of thing. I don't think in general that market is well represented on this board.

I think you are taking DM's comments way too personally. He has an opinion and a right to express it as do you. DM and I have virtually identical taste in women - amazing we are able to co-exist while mongering actually- and I have to say I would trust his assessment of what was available at the time he was there. That's all any of us can comment on. It's always easy to say-you should have been here last week or next week or whatever. The point is he was reporting on what he saw - no more no less. That is what this site is all about .

Just traded in the 60kg spinners of R1 for the 50kg spinners in AW. The showgirls must be hotter as the talent around 9pm was uninspiring to say the least and I couldn't imagine ANY of them drawing in customers from miles around...

Now, there is ONE spinner in there with a nice body and hair down to her asscrack, but she's got a mug that'll crack the porcelain when she goes to the toilet to vomit. She might look better if she didn't look like someone just shit in her open mouth.

The lineup at RB1 wasn't much better. Certainly a few fuckable girls-- decent enough for an hour of pleasure (if @ a 50% discount), but certainly nothing I would want to keep around.

We are getting really busy again and the BG's are returning from their New Year sojourns at their various provinces. It's the same every year, some girls go home or stay with boyfriends. I just can't understand why some people can't see that. Even Rainbow has been low on BG's but the girls are starting to return to work.

I'm also pleased that you were fascinated by the Shows, many people are but it's not for everybody. AW is a combination of a Show bar and a drinking man's bar, and for these two reasons it will always be a very popular place.

I always thought that the real New Year in Thailand was Songkran and thats when the girls made their trip home, along with Loi Kratong. How lucky the Thais are to celebrate World New year, Chinese New Year and Thai New Year every year. From what I have heard, the supply is at full force in Pattaya during the holidays as they dont celebrate Christmas and World New Years per se. I do know that New Years is one falang holiday they have adopted in BKK with all the falang living there but didnt know girls would miss out on the peak of high season for it.

Hi Blazers, this is true what you say, you are right the BKK girls seem to disappear. Rainbow One has just under 150 Dancers on its books yet only 50 turned up for work on New Years Day. Strange as it may seem the Thais in BKK take "our" New Years seriously, as a time to see their family. You know the Thais, any chance for a holiday! I think you are right about Pattaya too but the Pattaya bar owners were disappointed with the bar trade. People all over the streets but not that many spending. Great for mongers, still a large number of Bg's compared to mongers.

Hey Blazers, the Pattaya Angelwitch interior building team "did a runner" as my Boss put it. They all cleared off for New Years and have not returned yet. My Boss just couldn't get anyone to work, he went nuts because he said, "It's not even their New Year!" Only in Thailand! I kind of admire their cheek and don't blame them!

The bar salary cuts can be so severe that some of the BKK go-go girls don't even bother to show up for 2-4 weeks. Another problem is that the big "sponsor" (overseas boyfriend) is in town to see the New Year in with his sweetheart. Of course they all tell the bar boss, "I go home see Mama Papa, jing jing!"

I can attest that many girls left for NYE in both Pattaya and BKK. Numbers and qyality were down but still managed to have a blast. NYE in Pattaya was great. I was "strokin" a beauty at the stroke of midnight, then we watched the fireworks from my balcony. Not sure which Grande Finale was better!!

As much as Thais love holidays, this is monger peak season and the girls love money even more. If they are not making money at work, someone else is subsidizing them during high season and its not a Thai guy.

Yes, guys, I recognize that every bar has it's ups and downs in talent, something many hear seem to not realize, but the fact that AW has as much good talent as often as it does says they must be doing something right more often than not.

Dave, the one thing I will say about sitting with you in your bar, is the fact that I don't have to worry about the mamasans trying to get me to buy them drinks. Not that I mind terribly in moderation, but sometimes it's nice just to watch the eye-candy! ;) In any event, I hope to be able to drop in often now.

Ceenotes, the "soft" opening for AW in Pattaya is Jan 5th. The AW Showgirls have left me with no Shows in BKK for tonight. But the Bosses want a good impact on the Pattaya scene and it is only for one night. Just had some problems finishes off a few things, nothing too major.

DM, there's nothing wrong with Rainbow 1 at all, but every bar suffers a drop in numbers over New Years, but you knew that right? I'm trying to provide information for everybody on the board, and not everybody has your insight.

Sojourner, you are right AW's success speaks for itself - "Best Go-Go Bar 2002, 2003, 2004" AW has the advantage that it still remains the best Show bar in LOS and we can get away with having fewer BG's on deck. The other bars cannot. Good observational point regarding the Mamasans, they can annoy customers at times. Kind of think of me as your guard dog - they try to pester and I growl at them LOL!

Sandman, Showgirls are mostly pre-selected by the owners in AW as they know the girls so well. They know how the BG has to look, whether she has an aptitude for choreography, the right looks and figure, etc. Thanks for your interest in AW and LOS, this is great news for Thailand.

Nice to see you again Dave as always I enjoy the local insider updates. Was in here last night with a few friends and we had a blast. Nice energetic feel to the place early before the shows and plenty of girls. The expanded the place since last time I visited. The bathrooms especially is a huge upgrade. More room now during showtime. The girls came in various sizes. No matter if you liked large cans on a girl or a tiny spinner they were here.

I pulled a sweet spinner out of here last night with Dave's recommendation and had a fabulous time. Excellent performer. Thanks again Dave you haven't been wrong once recommending a girl for me.

I was out before the shows started but I do find it amusing that there are some other bars in Nana trying to duplicate the exact shows at AW. Has to mean that AW is doing something right and drawing a large crowd during showtime.

Well guys, we have some good news. Angelwitch in Nana just took on a whole bunch of young hotties. No exaggeration, as other mongers will confirm. Among them are some really cute BG's, some of them are little baby doll spinners. Haven't reported much lately because there was nothing to report being honest. Angelwitch is not a high barfine bar, nor high on quantity, but it's high on quality at the moment. Walkingdude went with a real hot little spinner, who is one the the new Dancers.

I was happy to read that Dollhouse in Pattaya has been sold to the owner of Club Bousche. I visited Club Bousche with Nastyworld last trip and was very pleasantly surprised especially with the jacuzzi action and Dollshouse was getting a bit tired anyway.

The American servicemen have been busy in Pattaya with the annual "Cobra Gold" military operations. This has really given Pattaya a much needed boost. Sadly they will be leaving soon and monsoon season is looming. Sad news for the bar owners but more BG's per monger. Over the next two months you will see at least eight more new go-go bars in Pattaya.

Yes, Isawal, I, too, found Club Boesche very impressive. I used to be a big fan of Coyotee's [sic]. The last time I went to Pattaya, though, I really thought that Club B was the cream of a very crowded crop.

During my last trip to Pattaya in Feb. I visited both clubs and AW Pattaya. Although I enjoyed the shows and feel of AW it lacked talent, in over a dozen visits I BF from AW once wile my turnover at Club Boesche and Coyotee's was way higher. One nice thing about Coyotee's is that it has great lighting you can see exactly what your buying:-)
