What any monger has to realise about Pattaya is that the bar scene changes so rapidly. Currently Angelwitch in Pattaya has improved dramatically and you will be reading many Internet reports about it. So many bars are fighting for attractive BG's, you have to keep a very close eye on the Pattaya bar scene. Bangkok is much more consistent in terms of trade and seasonality. Take it from an 18 year LOS veteran Pattaya can change at the drop of a whore's draws!

Hey Dave, was a pleasure to check out the club a couple days ago, and have a quick chat. Had a great time and enjoyed the shows too. Quite a few hotties there so I'll have to try and make it back before my trip is up!

Thanks Zeno, good to meet you too. We are pleased that you enjoyed Angelwitch but it is not for everybody. If mongers don't like crowded bars, or shows then they will not enjoy 10pm until 1am in AW BKK. However, if guys pop in between 8pm and 10pm they can get to see the vast majority of girls without the place being too crowded. BTW, after the shows finish the place can be quite wild at party time.

AW is predominantly a show bar, but as we are complimented by hot babes we are extremely popular right now. We have taken on a lot of Dancers over the last six months, and with Pretty Lady being closed we are partly benefitting from their predicament.

Angelwitch in NEP have the most go-go girls they have ever had with 70+ on the books. This does not include Showgirls. BTW, the Pattaya Angelwitch on Soi 15 just off Walking Street is doing better these days. It's not the standard of the mother ship in BKK but that is mainly because it is in Pattaya. I thought it about time I wrote an update!

Most guys do like Angelwitch, we get rave reviews on the Internet. It is not to everybodies liking but it is well worth mongers' at least swinging by to take a look...

I try to keep reporting for CH, but it does get tiresome at times. I feel sorry for guys who spend a lot of their personal time putting a trip report together - it is then (sometimes) trashed by some self-proclaimed expert. Cmon Dave. Thailand is still a wonderful destination but Bangkok is just not a great choice anymore unless you are into ladyboys. Soi Cowboy is not what it was and Patpong is dead. The freelance scene is excellent though and I love going to Bangkok for shopping and its restaurants. I have always said that I thought that the prettier girls were in the gogo bars in Pattaya. I honestly have yet to see a bar in Nana that packs the talent as Supergirl, Happy or Peppermint during high season. The price for the girls is about the same but Pattaya is next to a body of water and is more of a fun atmosphere. Nana girls are mercenary and want short time hour sessions so that they can get back to the bar and fuck more guys. There are some gems to find, thats for sure but you really have to put lots of time and effort into it. Now I havent been there in a year but I have been to Thailand 17 times before that and I have always preferred Pattaya.

I know right now AC is the flavor of the month so Thailand guys are feeling left out but AC is now what Thailand used to be in that the girls are friendly, sweet and want to be with their barfine. Sure there are exceptions in Thailand but the internet has spoiled Thailand and made it too popular. Dont worry, the board's liking of other destinations now is just a product of the evolution of the internet. Places like Brazil and Thailand have become too popular for now and Brits in Thailand love to take the prettiest prostitutes and financially support them. Dont blame Americans for that.

Hello Blazers, I wondered where you had gone! Hope you are doing well buddy. I can understand how you feel but I hope that you will visit BKK, even if it is just to meet up and have a chat.

You are a very experienced monger and knowing you as I do, I find it difficult to disagree with your viewpoint. Excellent point about the power of the Internet, and I know in some ways it made Angelwitch in terms of popularity. Certain bars in BKK do suffer from what I call the "superstar syndrome" but I think guys like you can rise to that challenge. Unfortunately there are TOO many guys feeding the habit by throwing huge sums of money at the BKK bargirls. Some people I know pay 5,000 baht, when the BG has not even asked for that amount.

BTW - your Thai is second to none out of any monger I have ever met; this is an extremely useful skill. Please let me know when you will be back in Thailand. I do visit Pattaya so if BKK is not your scene I could meet up with you in Pattaya. Khit tung puan dee kap!

Right now many bars are hurting in Pattaya, but I think they will become very popular by November as the high season kicks in.

Bangkok is known as "The City Of Angels" from its translation of "Krungthep" which is the official Thai name for the capital. I don't know of any "Angel City" but perhaps you mean AC in the PI.

The "Angelwitch" is a creature of the night, very prominent during the Halloween period. Soon, I will post up some images from Hell-oween!

We have received rave reviews for both Angelwitch bars. An American resident said we were head and shoulders above every bar in Pattaya on Halloween. The AW Bosses spared no expense (unlike so many other scrooges) in terms of time and money to entertain our friends. The Michael Jackson "Thriller" show went down very well. I was in here three times in the last week. The 1st two times, I got there past 12am and there were still some cuties to be had.

My last night there, I brought two girls in with me from another bar. we arrived at 9:45pm because I wanted them to see the show. HOLY CRAP!!!! There were at least 6 girls there that I thought were top notch and about another 15 I would have no problem taking. If you get here before showtime, I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

I have posted a message on Pattaya Angelwitch. Having had such a good time at AW Pattaya I decided to go to AW Nana BKK. As stated in Pattaya review Im a reasonably old hand at Thailand. It used to be my R&R stop when I lived in China and nothing much suprises me.
I hadnt been to Nana in at least 18-24 months despite coming to Thaialnd about 5-6 times a year and always staying at President Solitaire Soi 11. Nana hasnt changed much.. seems to be more ladyboys rubnning around than before.. late night line up across the road is just the same.
I ventured into AW Bangkok based on curiosity having had great time at AW Pattaya. God I couldnt have been more disspaointed. Quality of girls was averge, packed stage, hard to get drink and that frightful go go bop music that Im sure induces the runs after listening to it for 30 minutes.
Now all of that said.. I think BKK in general has a lot less talent than Pattaya does and in general BKK is all a bit old and tired.
What really suprised me is the attitude of Dave. Having read all his friendly " come see me", "look forward to meeting you all", "everyone welcome at my place" postings on this board I decided to say hi to him and ask him a question re the Pattaya club. Well the guiy couldnt give me the steam off his piss. It didnt worry but I have to ask why crap on with all your self promoting warmth and friendliness when in reality you are nothing like that and just using a legitmate board for self promotion.
I didnt expect him to buy drinks or spend any time and I did introduce nyself politeley and asked if I could ask a question to which he replied sure but very soon realised that the Dave that is promoted by himself is very different to what I saw.
This is not an anti Dave flame but a review of AW BKK.
In fairness AW BKK is same same as rest of Nana.
With new highway stretches open to Pattaya it really is a 2 hour or less trip now.

Reading Monty1412 post above, a couple of mongers have complained about daves attitude towards them, now i dont no why dave has suddenly ignored clubhombre members,but i have noticed clubhombre still advertises on stickmans site who dave is a good friend of.

Thinking about this i did get upset at the way he put other gogo clubs down and only recommended his friends clubs, and of course clubhombre members saw through this and brought his attention to it, which he did not like and tried to argue himself out of, which of course made things worse for him as clubhombre members argued back

Reported in his weekly column 11/02/2008,from the stickmanbangkok site, the Angelwith has got a scam were the barstaff, after paying for your drink,just dont bother to bring you your change back.only some of the staff do this if its under a 100B, instead of giving the change to you, its put into there pocket. so next time you pay your bill in the Angelwitch check your change.

I have been to BKK numerous times and AW in Nana ,as I mentioned way back on this thread, is great for the shows. Everytime I have visited there were quite a few hotties as well. I have pulled several girls from here in the past.

The addition to Dave the Rave has been nothing but stellar. I head inside AW with or without my wingmen and Dave will talk about all the current events, recommendations on his girls, humerous stories, and some insight on his numerous years spent in Nana. We sit and chat and over the years I have received too many free drinks from him. I actually brought him over to Rainbow 4 once.

If you were a new guy to Los you can't beat heading to AW and listening to Dave for awhile. He is almost always there. Through him I have met the founders of Pattaya-addicts as well as numerous Hombres including some good friends.

After Dave left Hollywood those bars were like a ghost town. Dave is an asset to a bar. I look forward to stopping by my next trip out.
