In Jakarta also there are famous night club like 'Raja Mas' ,'Sidney' and money more. Most of them have private room, in this private room we can invite a dancer to do strip tease. The room cost is about 50.000 / hours and the girl is about 40.000 /hours - for company only and about 300.000 to 500.000 rupiah if we want take her to our bed. The erotic dance cost about 400.000,-

I'm assuming by rating, you mean the top 3 countries I've mongered in. I've mongered in seven. The top three would be Thailand in first place by a long shot, followed by Macau, with Cambodia coming in third. However, I hear things have been quite volatile with the scene in Cambodia, and probably isn't what it used to be. Also I've never been to places like Rio and Angeles City, so I strongly suspect my top three would be somewhat different after I've added a few more destinations to my belt.

CJ's Club in Hotel Mulia in Jakarta Indonesia--IMHO, the most popular club for dancing, mongering or just drinking in all of Jakarta. CJ's is fairly upscale, and the women are in the top percentile of all of the clubs I've frenquented in Jakarta. Lovely ladies, from 18-40, and with bodies to die for. Many of the girls here are non-pro, meaning they have a regular job. Wages in Indonesia are so low that many of these girls will "suplement" their income with a little P4P on the side. My experience is that after you pay them once during the trip, they will generally stay with you without asking for any more money. Pretty girls with great attitudes--tough to beat!!!!!

I have been a regular in Jakarta for years. Let me share some of my experiences.
First of all, there is a high crime rate there. Secondly, the cab drivers and people in general do not speak English, although English is the official second language. Actually, the unofficial second language is chinese. The reason why the girls don't speak English is because they are not educated. Picking up women in bars and discos are risky. Women that English speaking gringos are able to hook up with are limited to women that can speak English and that is really limiting your choices.
In terms of the best place to go for action, 1001 is the best, but it is way overpriced. You might end up paying $400 for a gorgeous Russian woman. Yes, it has an international selection of women. Beware of many of the high end karioke bars. Many of the hotties will not be with a white/westerner. Many of the hotties are there for companionship only and this does not include any sex or sensual activity. Make sure you clarify.
The best place for a combo of selection of women and price is "Stadium". Very few gringos go there. When you walk in, there are 3-4 Mamasans looking to steer you to one of their girls. There will be 40 girls hanging around. There might be more, but number of girls to choose from will not be a problem. It is also a "bar" so you can just order a Tiger beer and wait for the right one to come along. Mamasans don't make money unless you choose on of their girls so they will be tapping you on the shoulder to direct you to look at their girls, not one from a rival Mamasan. The girls of each Mama hangs together in a clique. The girls are ranging from young to extremely young- whatever you like will be there. The cost of hooking up with a girl there will be $30-$40 USD. To bring one home for an all nighter is $100. However, if you go there earlier (around 7PM), the cost could go up to $115 as the girl didn't have time to make any money before you arrived. The advantage of using a Mamasan when you don't speak Indonesian is huge as 1) you get a big selection 2) the prices are at or lower than what I have seen quoted 3) it is a place that is free of scams that go on in public places. If you take a girl for an all nighter, she can recommend places to eat, drink and communicate to drivers for you. Since there are a lot of scams among the drivers (including robbing you!), many friends tend to hire a respectable driver for an all nighter. This can be had for $20 as that is a lot of money for them. A respectable driver is one that picks you up from in front of your hotel. Hope this helps, Jakarta is a great city!
On a side note: I have been shaken down by the immigration people for not having a return ticket upon landing in Jakarta. Make sure you have one. In addition, don't bring the new US Currency as the money exchangers may not take them. I will exchange my money from my US bank before I leave the next time. If your US bill has even a slight crease in it, it will not be accepted or it will be exchanged for a lower rate. You will be unhappy, but this is posted to give you ample warning. Happy mongering!

Wombat88, I thought a $100 for an all nighter is a good deal there. There are higher end places that charge much more. 1001 charges much more for a little higher quality in the looks department. There are lower end places with a terrible selection. For a combo of selection and pricing, you cannot go wrong with the Stadium. But I have walked in and walked out due to not finding what I was looking for in the past.
But the price is US $20 for a quickie in the bar. So you can always sample the lady first and come back another time for the all nighter.

Where can you go for an all nighter for less than $100 in Asia? Maybe Thailand. But Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan will be more. But you know your mongering very well. I can learn from you if you have less expensive recommendations.

You guys all make good points. What I was saying is that in Jakarta, there are places where you have gorgeous women of all races that can charge up to $400 for an all nighter. You can go for less, but the selection in the club is underpar. For a blend of a good high quality selection and price, I recommend Stadium. If there are other recommendations out there for Jakarta, I am all ears. I will check them out for sure. Remember that I am strictly talking about the major city of Jakarta. As far as Singapore is concerned, yes Orchard Towers has a good selection. But under $100 for an all nighter? Not for a pretty one, I can assure you of that. At least not for the average guy under average circumstances. I am sure it has happened as written above. But that is not the going rate. Also, Orchard Towers is known as the place where the TV's hang out. They can be had for $100 or less. Ipanea and Top Ten will run way over $100 for an all nighter and many times more than that for a session. Many girls will ask for $200 for a session once they determine you are American. Probably because many Americans will pay the inflated price, especially in their first visits. You can get hourly sessions for less than $100, but the asking price many times will be higher. Yes, Gei Lang is less expensive. But I find the ladies there of the "quickie" type. I have never taken one from there for an all nighter.

Yes, Japan, Korea, HK, Taiwan are TERRIBLY expensive, but Singapore does have values. Orchard towers is like most other locations in Asia - not EVERY hottie will have a customer every night. What this means is you may not get the one specific girl you were looking for, but you're still able to walk away with a hottie w/o too much trouble.

Go there around 1:00-1:30am and see who's looking to go home vs. who's looking to go home with YOU!! If a girl needs the money and/or likes you, she'll find that S$150 is enough to secure her services for the night. You won't hit the jackpot every night, but you'll have company most nights.

Going back to Jakarta, I have been in the higher priced places for entertaining clients. When I am not with clients, I am looking for a less expensive option.
1001 has the most beautiful selection, but not worth the prices. This is a karioke bar and the prices include music, lady, sitting time, room and sex. To make it an all nighter, I believe it is an extra $50. Only Indonesians are available for all nighters. Prices are broken down by race:
Indonisian:$250
Viet Nam: $300
Chinese: $350
Russian/E.European: $400

I know this is expensive. That is why I will visit Stadium when I am not with a client. $100 is comparatively a good price. If the client likes Indonesian girls, I just take him to the stadium for a take out. After reading some of the responses, I see there are less expensive options. Can you be very specific to where and how much- no freelancers, please.

Now I have given specific names of clubs with prices. I even broke it down to price per nationalities. Can anyone offer any other places like this with published rates in Jakarta? Not interested in free agent places where the girls make up their own prices, but a place that manages the girls. Complete with a mamasan.

I have several ex-pat friends that live in Jakarta and I have been researching making a first trip there a few months from now. In case anybody missed it, most of the high-price info listed above is for imports and from what I am hearing the best girls you can get are Indonesian.

imo, talent at all the bars, discos, etc in the kota region is way down with the exception of hotel travel.

This caused me to do some exploring in the main areas of north jkt as well as branch out to other parts of jkt. I initially wanted to check out kalapa gading area, but got distracted with my discoveries on the westside of town. There is an underground gambling ring way west of hayam wuruk with cheap local brothals deep within a series of sketchy looking alleys by a sewage stream. more details to follow, but basically, it's 100K (local prices) which would get you multiples with what seemed to be no real set time limit with some of the most passionate ceweks i have ever come across. There is also a street scene in the area as well. see west jkt section soon to come.

btw, the local indos i met told me that they don't customarily tip the girls including places like penjay. 10-20k seems to be the amount they would donate, but only if the session was remarkable. I took this to the test a couple of times, and most girls were in fact ok with a small tip, fyi.

Yes, the bars are all open on Sunday. There will somewhat of a dip from the numbers on Thurs-Sun., but it shouldn't be too noticeable. Also, Sunday afternoon is a popular time to go to Discos. So you get bonus venues.

Evidently Aug. 18 - 21 is a big 4 day holiday weekend which most people leave Jakarta for a holiday. Probably a very good weekend to have the girls to yourself. I am thinking of exteneding my trip this week to do just that.

I was Jakarta for six nights last week. The passing of Ramadan has brought some changes, some good and some bad. One of the best changes is a huge influx of fresh young girls into several venues. However, I missed so many sayang ku’s so much over the Ramadan absence I didn’t try any new girls until my last day! Of course bad news is that prices are up in some venues as well. Not feeling motivated for a trip report I am just gonna offer a list of observations and impression of places I visited.

1) Kota Indah bars (or frequently mentioned as Pen Jay) have had some significant changes. First, success breeds imitation. Three of the bars - Sari Ayu, MTR Bar, and LA Bar – all have adopted the sarang and low cut tank top tank top shirt uniforms like Travel Hotel for the girls. It appears that the girls have some rule where they have to wear the outfit a certain number days a week. I kind of liked the way it was before where the girls could express some of their personality by the clothes they pick, but the new outfits certainly make it hard for girls to hide body flaws. The biggest news in this group of bars has got to be the huge talent infusion post Ramadan. Most of the new girls are quite young and sweet and have given MTR and LA Bar a real needed boost in numbers. Sari Ayu is off the charts with all the returning hotties and the new talent. I spent more time in Sari Ayu than any other place. I have yet to see a better hooker bar in all my travels than the current Sari Ayu. I love the place, the attitude of the girls is awesome, tons of hotties, tons of great sex, but the rooms still suck. Nothing is perfect. Also, good news is a non-change the big three bars have not raised their prices.

I also took a peek into Royal Bar and Massage lots of hotties, but more curvy and mature than the other Kota Indah bars. I have heard but not verified that Royal now has some girls who are “freelancers” and cost 400 or 500 per session. This same girls supposedly rotate over to the new upscale sauna place on Hayam Wuruk, Marlioboro, and the go for 800K over there. That’s just insane pricing for older Indramayu stock.

2) Travel Hotel is still an extremely well stocked and hot place. Tons of girls here, it seems that they keep about 100 here on any given day and are also rotating other girls into places like Marlioboro, the first floor of Rasa Sayang, and Classic Spa. Lots of new fresh from the Kampung girls here as well. Bad news here is that prices have gone to 275K for all rooms. I learned that this place is extremely popular during the week, especially Friday night with locals, but on Saturday and Sunday the place is much slower. Better to time your visits on these days.

3) Sands Spa at Mangga Dua Square was awfully quiet. This place has been open for awhile and is no longer the hot new place (that would be Marlioboro) and business seemed slow. All the better for me. I found an excellent deep tissue massage girl #99. Her massage is awesome but the hand job was mediocre. Better to save that bullet for later. Despite the slow business it didn’t stop them from raising prices to 150K for the 90 minute massage in a standard room.

4) I visited Stadium 3rd floor and it looked like status quo or perhaps even down in the number of girls. I didn’t session so I didn’t check prices.

5) Anggrek around the back of Stadium was down a little bit from my previous couple of visits. No new girls and several girls had yet to return. No problem I have a wife here who treats me great and I always repeat with her. Still an awesome deal for 180K and hour. I did a take out LT and it was nose bleeding 750K. Ouch but I didn’t regret it.

6) I took both Wicked Willy and Socrates to see the selection at Berlian and Kartika massage. Both places still stocked with large cewek significantly passed their use by dates. However, in each place were one or two younger sleek ones worth the try. Regardless I just can’t believe how much play these places used to get on the internet. I still have never sessioned in these places.

7) Siera, a small place across from Bintang Mawar and Madonna’s had a few new girls as well. Girls here have a great attitude. Had a couple of beers one night and got the AC style naughty bar treatment. Gotta love the 180K price here as well.

8) One night I got out of Kota and went with Wicked Willy and Socrates to eat at the JW Marriott buffet which is totally awesome! Next we went across the street to the basement of the Ritz Carlton. There where two clubs down there. One was a decent Salsa club – well the dancers and prerecorded music were awesome, but the band was not very good. Attached there was a more straight western music club with a band. In this club there was a smattering of lame 5* hookers not worthy of chatting up.

Afterwards, we went to Tiguh Puluh. It’s been a while since I have been here, or any other 5* hotel pick-up bar. Honestly, I just don’t see the appeal of this place. I guess there is a decent chance you can’t get an older chick to bang you for free or give you a wild ride for minimal compensation. The was a severe dearth of decent lookers here, and an overabundance of hardcore minta minta girls (girls who will just drain your wallet with requests for drinks, cigarettes, taxi fares etc.) It’s these type of girls who have made me basically abandoned the bule venues in Jakarta. I know there are lots of guys here who love this place. I don’t get it, I guess if you absolutely have to have an English speaking girl…….. Needless to say I went home alone.

9) I made it down to Melawai hotel 6th floor one afternoon. Dayshift here seemed a little light. But much much to Socrates dismay, I called ahead and prebooked cute petite Della and HUGE titty Lucy for a threesome. But I think he ended up happy any way. Same prices here as before. For you Lucy fans she has lost a couple of Kilos and now has a real flat stomach and tight round butt. Plus her skins is real clear. I have never seen her look so good. My threesome set me back almost $90 but it was worth every penny! I absolutely love threesomes here and I still would say this place offers the best service I have found in Jakarta.

10) Jakarta is amazing in that I am going constantly for six days and I still can’t even hit all my regulars places. For example, I made no visit to Bintang Mawar or TC’s (total cunts hehe I love that one.) I didn’t make it out to Tropical Spa but I heard rumors that the did away with the 300K package of one hour Fl Session and 90 minute massage. Also, I heard FLer’s are now 400K and that room rates have gone up 20K per hour. I have not confirmed this. But if true the borderline too expensive place is now in the not worth the price at all. For the same or a little bit more money you can go to a much nicer place like Classic or Sumo.

11) Oh for some reason Visa on Arrival at Jakarta airport is having huge long time consuming lines. This was a real frustrating way to start my trip. If you can get your visa before you come or can find someone to greet and walk you through for a price, do it! The line was so bad it may be worthwhile to enter through Batam or other place and then fly domestically.

I'll post some pics later and post some observations in TR when time permits, but just wanted to add that I figured out why there are fewer girls at Stadium 3rd floor --- there are girls packed to the rafters on the 2nd floor (disco/lounge) and on the 4th floor inside the disco. Tons of cuties on ALL 4 floors now. 2 mamasans on 2nd floor, 4 mamasans on the 4th floor, and 2 mamasans on the 3rd floor. I could've spent the entire trip at Stadium.

Also checked out some karaoke bars and found a few low-mileage cuties at SUPER and a karaoke across from it called Nuansa Permai in Kota (on the small street behind Pizza Hut and Imperial Chef).

Shit Merlin I know you plans come together last minute, but you should give me a call. I was hanging around this weekend and would have loved a last minute excuse to go to Jakarta. And one thing for sure, there was a great influx of post ramadan talent and Kota is absolutely stacked right now.

Good news about Stadium. Crazier told me about the new second floor but before Ramadan he said the talent was weak. On the last trip we stopped by around 4PM and they said the second floor was only open at night. Crazier also reported that the girls on the forth floor in the disco use a different and more crappy set of rooms. Also the 2nd and 3rd floor are a little more expensive. I am eager to get your full report.

I have popped into Super a several times, but it always had the pic the girl from the photo format. Each time while checking out the pics I noticed the girls getting summoned for sessions tended to be older and fatter than our usual taste. Looking forward to your report. I think I know which little dangdut/karaoke hall you are talking about across the street. These little shops are all over kota. For example there are bunch of them in the same complex as Sari Ayu et al one the back street and also back behind Stadium as well.m Actually Angrekk a place we talk about is one of these types of joints. Once again kind of alot of effort to sort through these places when the front line places are so stacked.

BTW, Did you go around the corner and check out Rasa Sayang? That place definitely has some frot line girls and has three floors of action.

MX, damned, I thought for sure since you just got back from JKT recently you probably didn't have the time to swing by again. It was so last minute and unexpected that I had to go to the airport 2 days in a row on standby.

Jakarta talent was simply phenomenal. But dude, EVERYONE knows you, went to Agrekk, Travel, Penjay and BM and everyone's asking, "where's MX???" Irna is at Angrekk and spoke to her a bit, hooked up with a Sayang there. Had to get real firm with the Travel Hotel gal as there were simply too many bombshells there to be monogamous.

At Stadium, the 2nd floor is open at 5pm I believe and stays open real late. Pulled a couple of Super Duper hotties (one LT), they use the 3rd floor rooms for ST and the pricing is the same. The 4th floor gals use diff't sets of rooms, but seem to charge more (285-300k). Rooms are smaller, but look similar to the 3rd floor rooms. Plus you gotta pay cover, but there were about 50 girls up there (same for 2nd floor), and the girls on the 4th floor were still there at like 6am!

As for the Karaoke, SUPER on the weekend had a lineup of about 30-40 gals, 2 or 3 hotties. The place across the street had 1 or 2 hotties. These gals seem low mileage but not the big leagues in talent. Cost was 240k and they had nice, large rooms.

I have already posted about arriving in Jakarta on the Mexico chat thread, as I may have to end my mongering in TJ and concentrate my hobby in SEA from now on.

I just simply have to say this: I finally made it to Indonesia, where I'm hoping to discover (and eventually report about) a mongering existence which I'm hoping, far surpasses anything which Tijuana could offer. And it does.

I just arrived in the city of Jakarta a few days ago and have been in the company of this cute little Asian hottie where the ability to "drift" as it were, to certain nightclubs already reported on CH is somewhat of a task at the moment, but I will eventually be allowed to discover any potential mongering locations.

Quite a few overweight girls in the city of Jakarta, which comes of a surprise, as I didn't think Asian ladies weighed more than 120 lbs. To my surprise, I've found that some do.

If I'm successful and satisfied, it could mean the end of Tijuana for me.

Indonesian girls do tend to be bigger than most of there Asian counterparts, but that means more great racks. Saying this there are some pretty smoking bodies around for those of u guys who like the smaller ladies. Was at a nightclub last night, called Bats. More like an underground pub. It's in a huge (I think) five-star hotel. Will get the name later, but this nightclub had a live band on stage and was crammed with extremely exotic beautiful Asian girls.

You are a short taxi ride to Hotel Mulia (CJ's) Shangri La (Bats) and Le Meridian (Tiguh Puluh). You can always get a silver bird or blue bird taxi at any of those hotels so you never have to to expose yourself lower quality and more dangerous locations.

ALso I beleive there is somemore limited action available in the Basement CLub of the Ritz Carlton hotel. Actually there are two clubs there, One is a salsa club which gets some great dancers but has no pros. Pros can be found in the adjoining club whihc has western bands playing western songs.

Mongerx, how far is "Bloc M" from Marriott area? Just in case the hotel bar scene isn't good while I'm there. If finding a taxi or it is dangerous, i dont want to go, but I am used to Pattaya or Bangkok action, if it is similar.

If you go to Blok M at night say after 11PM it shouldn't be more than a 15 minute taxi ride. Blok M is way more down market than 5* hotel bars. Problem is it's hard to find a non-crooked driver to come back from Blok M. There is only one street with a couple of bars there anyway. This steet is rather unpleasant as it littered with child beggars, lots of unemployed locals, and taxi touts. This is not a festive environment.

There is no action in Jakarta similar to Bangkok or Pattaya.

Is there a best time to go to Jakarta. I'm haping to go this Winter or in response to a "best Time."

Just keep in mind the 1 month Ramadan holidays around Sept.Oct. (slightly varies each year) and November- March is supposed to be the rainy season.

Yeah. It sucks being stuck in your hotel room for two or three days because it rained so hard that all the roads are flooded and the taxis can't get in or out.

This happened to me once or twice when I was there during the rainy season last year.

On another note, they are building a new highway to the airport so that road doesn't get flooded out anymore. It is right next to the old one and elevated about 5-10 feet higher than the existing road.

Good reason to stay in Hotel Travel during the rainy season...

Just kidding, it's a dump, the session rooms are better than the hotel rooms (I stayed there once), unless there's been an upgrade recently.

During the recent trip, it rained alot as well in the afternoons. It usually came down in torrents for about an hour, then the flooding, then lots of puddles. Minor "hiccup" to the mongering IMO. I holed up at BM, Madonna and Sierra during these times and it was ok, plenty of gals and rooms onsite.

Today's NYTimes had an article on how upper middle class Indonesians are raising their kids to primarily speak English at the cost of an inability to speak Bahasa. The recent Miss Indonesia had to have the judges questions translated since she has problems outside of English.

She looks 100% Chinese Indo and as you know the wealthy in Indonesia comprise mostly of racist Chinese who stick together.

I believe the super rich is now split about 50-50 between the Chinese and the Indonesian Pribumis. Though the Chinese only account for less than 5% of the population.

Lucky me, I have a good Chinese friend who's family business is only ranked around number 57 in the country.

Having spent a reasonable amount of time in Jakarta recently, I have noticed what seem like dramatic differences in the girls' receptiveness to servicing white people (or foreigners, hard for me to assess this) that interestingly enough seem to depend on which place they are working at. What I find interesting is in some instances one can go into bars right next to each other, or across the street from each other, that charge the same, provide the same services, are set up essentially the same, but have girls (not necessarily mama-sans) who react to foreigners in diametrically opposed ways.

For example, yesterday I visited three of the Penjay (as they are sometimes called here) bars. I first went into MTR and was surprised that the talent there was rather deep so I began enthused. However, I could not get a girl to maintain eye contact, some of them made a deliberate effort to let me know they were not interested as I passed, and the one girl I asked the papa-san to bring over made the "bule stink-face" so I immediately discharged her. This was a rather discouraging way to begin my mongering day.

I then proceeded maybe 50 yards to Sari Ayu, which upon entrance is almost indistinguishable (in appearance) from MTR. At Sari Ayu I was treated like a rock star. As I circled the room I got a lot of smiles and "Hi Misters", and felt very welcome. Indeed, on previous occassions there by the time I got around the room I have had maybe 10 or girls following me with smiling faces (including some of the lookers) trying to get my attention; it is as though I am the Pied Piper of whoredom! (this, of course, can be unsettling if it seems you are being pressured, but I don't find it overly aggressive so I'm fine with it). I also just remembered (but don't know if it means anything) that the two girls I picked at Sari Ayu yesterday had American flag patches sewed onto their jeans (or jean skirts); and no I didn't pick them for this reason as I only noticed this once we were upstairs.

The reception I typically get in LA Bar (across the street from Sari Ayu) is somewhere in between these two extremes.

I have observed this same phenomenon (although not as dramatically) in other bars around town, where the receptiveness to "bules" seems quite different from one bar to the next. I wonder whether this reflects what the mama-sans are telling their girls, or instead discussions among the girls that may be motivated by a small number of good or bad experiences with foreigners that then define the general attitude of the bar.

In any event, I would be interested to know whether others who are vets of Jakarta have observed the same thing. And for any newbies, the lesson is not to get discouraged if the first place you visit in Jakarta does not seem all that receptive to you; there are others that will.

Parenthetically, based on my first few experiences in Jakarta I was skeptical about the concept of the "bule stinkface" but now realize I just was lucky in which bars I visited. It certainly exists, but can be much more a factor at some of the bars than at others.

Bule stinkface surely always existed on all MY trips to INDO. But the good news was, as 99% of reporters have said, the RECEPTIVE ONES were pretty DAMNED RECEPTIVE!

I once opined that Indo was THE greatest "point/click" bang for the buck/looks ratio I had ever encountered, and I doubt that has changed despite the local snobs turning up their noses to an extra two bucks here or there or a trend to ask twice for a rubber?

For me, this is where learning a little bit of Indonesian I feel really came in handy. In my height of going to Indonesia from around 2007-2010, I became completely oblivious to bule stink face and didn't notice it, or just never received it. (I would imagine I just didn't notice it as much because I became so relaxed and comfortable there as well as confident in my communication skills.)

There were still some ladies I would get a bad vibe from and throw back, but this was rather rare.

Generally my MO was to not do rounds and to have the mamasan bring one over that I fancied, joke around with her a bit and then head up. (I would also start early in the afternoon when mamasan pressure to take a lady isn't as high and the ladies are still fresh. Well for that day anyway.) Then after the session I would head back downstairs and drink some more beer. Sometimes I would call over a lady and some of her friends and buy them Bir Hitam (Guinness) and just hang out and drink. By this time a local Indonesian and his friend would take a liking to me, start chatting me up, and start pouring me beer from their stock.

Then I would take another one or two ladies up throughout the night and stumble out of the bar later that evening well satisfied.

I was very self conscious about bule stink face when I first started going. But as I became more comfortable with the destination, how the scene worked and the language barrier, I didn't notice it as much.

There is some merit to LA Guy's conjecture. So Kota venues generally get more bule traffic than others, and those girls learn that not all Bules have huge cocks they want to shove up their ass and then come on their face. Unfortunately too many girls are exposed to western style porno before western style Johns.

I also agree with Xenono's point that having some language skills can overcome most of that. I find many girls relax quickly once they realize I can communicate with them. They are afraid that the won't be able to communicate "please don't put that thing in my ass, or don't come in my mouth."

Thirdly, Kota is not really a western oriented sex scene and many of the girls just simply don't play western style bar girl games. While it clearly a good idea to avoid the girls rally balking at going with you, usually it's not much of a risk taking a girl who seems aloof or indifferent downstairs. Girls generally view their job duties occuring upstairs sexing you up, no to stroke you ego down in the bar. But as Xen notes, lots of girls are naturally playful and engaging while having fun in the bar. Remember they are getting any commissions on the drinks.

And perhaps Porker you should actually go Jakarta before totally discrediting my observations that price inflation and quality/quantity and service degradations are significant. If I was so concerned about spending a couple dollars more or getting some rubber requests, I wouldn't love China so much. Nothing wrong with your choice to have only gone to AC for several years, but your observations on Jakarta are quite dated. But I will say that I made a short pass through Jakarta last week, and my limited experiences were quite encouraging and I will definitely get back again sooner or later. I had forgotten how generally good at total ball draining sex the ceweks are. It made me kick myself for spending so much recent time in AC.

I'm working on a full Jakarta report (among other reports being worked on). But I will chime in to say two things:

One, I encountered very little bule stinkface during my recent Jakarta stand, quite the opposite of LAGuy's experience. A bit here and there, but otherwise it was non-existent.

Two, Indonesians are the best fucks in Asia, IMHO. Hands down. It was nice to get reminded of that after my long absence!

Mx, you read between the lines very well, I was indeed jabbing at the recent price increase lamentations that sounded to me like my personal rants about AC price increases over the years.

Bottom line: casual tourists don't much notice? And they think the place still friggin' ROCKS?

But maybe, indeed, the SKY FELL and jakarta is now Tijuana east or something???

Perhaps I should clarify. I didn't get many instances of the stink face so far, only a few, but they tended to happen in the same bars where the girls showed no interest as I was walking around. The lack of discernable interest might have simply reflected the MO of the particular bar (e.g., I remember that during my early mongering days, the girls in Chicago Club in TJ were much less aggressive in making eye contact, showing any signs of friendliness, and so forth (hence their reputations as ice queens) than, e.g., Adelitas. This was not a personal thing directed at the customers, but rather the "culture of the bar." In fact, once you got beyond the cold exterior of the girls at Chicago Club, some of them were great once you took them up to the room. (and I hope by making this comparison I am not feeding Porker's TJ comment, which was very much off the mark).

Perhaps this is what was going on and the "cold atmosphere" I was perceiving at some of the bars might have had nothing to do with the bule/non-bule distinction. But, it did seem to be the case more at the bars where I might get a stink face or two, than at the very friendly places like Sari Ayu. And unlike the marked difference in how Chicago Club and Adelita were set up, the various bars I visited seemed from surface appearances almost identical. So, I concluded (rightly or wrongly) the different receptions I received was related to the fact I am a foreigner (at least outside the U.S.) and perhaps some of the bars were more foreigner-friendly (even from among those that might have been but a few steps from one another).

For now, I'm going to spend more time in the bars I have found to be friendly, irrespective of whether my initial reaction was correct that those bars seemed more friendly because they were more foreigner-friendly. But I'll re-visit the others at some point to see whether my perceptions change.
