Chao Praya 2

What's great about this place is that the taxi will take you there and cannot receive a commission. 10-12 in the morning the rates are 1250 ($27) baht for two hours. After 12 the rates are 1600 baht ($35/36). The place is mammoth with a restaurant and bar. I sat and drank beer and ordered stir-fry fro legs after one of my favorites had not yet arrived.

The girl will take you on an elevator to your room. The room is very nice and split into three sections. A small couch with a tv/vcr where you can have a beer whil she gives you the pre-game warm up BBBJ. There is a room with a large bath tub where she will wash you head to toe and place you on an air mattress where she will use her vagina as a scrubbing brush. There is also a large round bed with mirrors all around and on the ceiling for your enjoyment.

Fishbowl is separated into three sections. Far right is legitimate massage (no sex), mostly old ladies. Middle section is superstars (and they are hot). Far left is body massage girls and there are some hotties there two. The only distiction between the superstars and other girls is that the superstars have lighter skin and the Japanese like the white girls. I like the brownies so I chose one from the Body massage section. A picture of her in the near future.

I was there too. It's not far from Chaopraya one so it's easy to check them both out. So the cab driver can't get a comission, no wonder they always take you to these crummy massage places with like 10 girls rate 5-6.

Unfortunately, I went with a superstar with light skin. I don't think it's necessarily better. In fact I did not have a particularly good session on that occasion. On my next visit I would choose one with good attitude and not just good looks.

i think the two mp's are almost across the street from each other and i've heard they are the one's which are open before 4:00 every day - which is nice.

I had a good, but not great time at this place in November. This was my very first experience at a Bangkok Massage Parlor.

Here is an excerpt from my November 2001 Trip Report:

We then went back to Majestic Suites to call Ranger. Unfortunately, Ranger was not doing too well. I think he had an injury in sustained while he was in Cambodia the week before and was having some foot problems. If I don’t mention this, Dart probably will, so here goes. When I originally got on the phone with him, I asked him how he was. He replied, “My foot hurts.” I understood him to stay, “My butt hurts.” When I repeated that back to him, and he clarified that it was his “foot” and not his butt that hurt, Dart started busting up laughing and started mocking me again. Ranger said he was going to be unavailable to take us to Chao Phaya 2 today. I asked him if he could provide us with directions there, as I had no idea how to get there. He suggested we take the Sky Train. He gave me directions, saying to take the Sky Train to Phaya Thai. He also gave me directions from the Sky Train station as well, and I desperately tried to scribble them down. He mentioned we could walk or take a cab from the Sky Train station, but to be sure if we took as cab from the Sky Train station, the driver did not attempt to take us to CP1. That was a place that raised your rate by 500 baht if you came in a taxi, CP2 was not. That is why Ranger liked it. No bullshit there he said.

I thanked Ranger for his time, directions, and info. Then I wished him well and hoped he felt better later.

I had read that one needed to be careful when taking taxis to the Massage places. A lot of the places offer incentives to Tuk-Tuk and taxi drivers to bring tourists to these places. That immediately makes your rate go up by 500 baht, which they pass along to the taxi driver for bringing you there. Apparently CP2 was not a place that offered taxi drivers incentives to bring tourists there, but I had read about places in the Sukhumvit area that did, so I wanted to be cautious.

I put the directions in my pocket and Dart and I headed for the Nana Sky Train station. We had no idea what the deal was though. We looked at a map of the route on the wall and saw Phaya Thai was four stops away from where we were.

We then went to the window and handed them some money, expecting to get a ticket back. Instead, we got change. Then we realized you had to put that change into an electronic card dispenser. You chose what number on the route (in either direction) you wanted to go. In our case, it was 4. Then it told you how much baht you had to give them. To get four stations away from Nana cost 20 baht, about 45 US cents.

After putting in two-10 baht coins, we were dispensed a card with an electronic mag stripe on it. We then went to the entrance, put our cards in, which opened a small, waist high gate for us, then closed when we obtained our card back and went through. I rode B.A.R.T in San Francisco many years ago, and I think the system may be the same, but I am unsure. We have a good picture of it we can post later on.

We then went up another set of stairs that went to the deck where the sky trains ran. Staying true to our US form, we were on the wrong side. We needed to go west, so we went up on the right (wrong) side. So we had to walk all the way back down and then up back up to the left side to go west.

The trains ran fairly quickly and we weren’t waiting long for a train to arrive. There were security guards on both sides of the station making sure people stayed behind the yellow lines and didn’t try to jump on to the tracks.

We entered the train and it was pretty crowded. We had to stand, and Dart lost his balance with the speed at which the train accelerated.

I don’t know how fast these trains ran, but Dart was saying they ran a lot faster than the San Diego Trolley did.

Soon we arrived at the Phaya Thai station. We put our cards into the gate again and the cards were taken this time and we departed the station. This was where I was hazy about the directions, so we decided to get a taxi from the station to Chao Phaya 2. This was a good idea, because we started walking in the wrong direction and it was pretty hot out.

We arrived at CP2 and it was not what I expected. I was not expecting the huge 3 or 4 story building it was. The entrance was two glass doors with two white columns and a roof coming out over it. We entered and that famous fishbowl I had read and heard so much about was straight ahead and to our left. I would estimate there were between 30-40 girls there around 1pm. The women were divided into four distinct sections.

Traditional Massage cost 500 baht, no sex included in the price. These women were older and ugly.

Then there was Body Massage (1500 baht), Star Massage (1600 baht), and Super Star Massage (1700 baht).

I later read they have sideline girls at 2300 baht each, but I don’t recall seeing them.

Now let me describe the fishbowl for a second. The girls are seated on usually 4 to 5 rows of large, usually red colored carpeted steps. The steps are larger than a normal stair step, and the fishbowl was wide and long enough to house probably 100-150 ladies if they were all in there at once. Then there is a piece of glass that separates you and the girls. Hence the name: fishbowl. Sideline girls are girls that are usually outside of the fishbowl. They are generally considered the highest quality and most expensive girls, although I don’t know how one attains this status. There were some sideline girls I saw later in the trip that I was not attracted to at all. So I don’t know if it is looks, popularity, or what. I might have to do some more research and find that answer later.

After looking around, Dart was unimpressed with the selection. He was also disappointed that the girls were not reacting to us they way he remembered in his previous trip. I spied a girl I was attracted to and could take up. Dart was utterly disappointed and wanted to leave. He has some other places in mind that he wanted to take me. I was willing to go with the girl I selected, so we decided to part ways and meet up at Nanaplaza later on.

Dart took off and I proceeded to make my selection. I selected a superstar and paid the 1700 baht ($38 US) at the counter. That 1700 baht got you two hours in the room with the lady, sex included. The girl I chose was Yona, #116.

The routine I was about to go through would be pretty standard across all the massage places in Bangkok I went to. Yona led me over to the elevators where we headed up to our room. When we arrived at our room, a lady brought in a basket with various soapy and cleaning supplies in them that had Yona’s downstairs number on it. That same lady also started the water running in the tub. She then departed but left the door slightly cracked. After a few moments, another lady came in and asked if we wanted any drinks. I didn’t, so I declined. This lady left and then closed the door behind her. Yona and I made some small talk before she asked me if she could smoke. I should have said no, but I ended up saying yes. After she finished her cigarette, we both undressed and she led me to the tub. We both got in, her with her back to the facet facing me. She started cleaning me off, first the toes and legs. Then she proceeded to the dick which she cleaned thoroughly. She continued to work her way up, cleaning off my stomach, shoulders, and arms before having me turn around and then cleaning off my back.

We stood up in the tub and she rinsed me off. Then she dried me off and I waited for her on the bed while she rinsed and dried herself. Hmmm, I was thinking. When the hell does that air mattress come into play? I read so much about that damn air mattress! I want a slip and slide!

Well, I didn’t get one. I don’t know if CP2 just isn’t a slip and slide place or what, but after Yona joined me on the bed, she proceeded to start massaging my legs, and then arms. Finally, she approached the little soldier who stood up at attention to salute her orals skills. It was only a fair BBBJ, but I was 5 for 5 on the BBBJ’s so far here in Thailand so I was not complaining.

After the BBBJ, she got on cowgirl style and started doing all the work. After a while, she tired and asked me to do some work and I happily obliged her. She got off after a bit and laid down where we proceeded to missionary, and then I finished her off in doggie. She was another petite girl, which I love.

The rooms at CP2 were really nice. The bed was round with a round mattress and mirrors all around the bed and then one on the ceiling as well. I always like ceiling mirror for the BJ and to check out the action in doggie, although the side mirrors are perfect for checking out the action in doggie, too.

While we were getting dressed at the end, she started making some additional small talk, asking about how things were in the states since the terror attacks, and commenting on how she thought war was silly. Overall, this was probably my worst session in Thailand to date. It was not overly affectionate and pretty businesslike. That being said, I would still have to rate it higher most of my average to good TJ and Nogales sessions. I think I gave her the 300 baht left over from the two thousand baht notes I used to pay for the room. We then headed downstairs and I headed out to meet Dart back at Nana.

After seeing Blazers posted pics of CP2 it has been on my list of things to do. This is first afternoon of 15 day trip and I got a check mark after CP2. Got jet lag pretty bad so I walked from Majestic just to burn off some nervous energy. 20 minute walk. Not too bad a part of town, up Soi 3 from Sukumvit, lower class residential and some light manufacturing. I would not recomend this walk after dark.

Was glad to see CP2 hours posted as 11 to 11 as it was only noon and basically just wandering around. They use the Good. Better, Best system. Paid 1500BAHT for a good girl who was 22, slender and plenty cute by my standards (pretty damn picky)

Massage, bath and FS all geared to please me. I am very happy with my CP2 experience ... would repeat. Only 20 or so girls at noon. Many more really cute ones arriving as I was leaving. Left building via the back exit and was very impressed with the laundry and water system. Never really dawned on me before what it takes to run four stories of hot tubs. Not only is hot water from two huge boilers, but it looks like the have a full blown water purification system back there.

Stopped by CP2 on my way out of Asia today. Learned how to get there by sky train for under a dollar round trip from Nana Station, and MUCH faster than any cab in traffic. Just take exit #4 to get out of the Phaya Thai Station and the stairway down heads you in the right direction. Follow the side walk around the gentle bend and do not cross any streets. CP1 (J1) is a three block walk and CP2 (J2) is on the other side of the 6 lane street in two more blocks. You can cross the street on a pedestrian bridge located about halfway between CP1 and CP2.

I went to CP2 once, I wanted a super star on the top row. I told the pimp and he called her number, she looked down at us and looked away, he said, "She won't go with you, she only goes with Japanese men." Dang, rejected a 2000B offer by a fairly good looking guy, Thais can be just as picky as us!

Here's my opinion and observation on CP2 after one visit in May 2002.

The hosts/hostesses are not pushy about you making a quick selection. In fact, they encourage you to sit down and wait for more girls to appear if you don't see anyone that you like. You can order drinks and/or food while you wait.

No taxi driver commission. If you still don't want to take a taxi, you can take the skytrain and walk to CP2. To some, it could be a hike. To others in good physical condition, it shouldn't be a problem.

As others have reported, this place is HUGE. During an evening visit, the parking lot was filled with BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Range Rovers, and other luxury cars. This is the first massage parlor that I've visited in Thailand that caters primarily toward Thai men (upper class Thai men). I believe this is the reason why CP2 does NOT pay the taxi kickback. I did notice some of the Thai men did something that I hadn't seen at any other MP - they bring their own binoculars to check out the talent behind the fishbowl!

I don't know if CP2 charges a higher rate for non-Thai customers. I do know that they charge a lower rate during the daytime.

During my visit, I was rather disappointed at the quantity and quality of the available talent. Behind the massive fishbowl, they had three groups. One group of about 10-15 women gave body massage + sex. The quoted price for two hours was 1,700 baht (evening rate). The next group of about 10-15 women were called "superstars" who gave only sex, no massage. The same 1,700 baht price for two hours was quoted. The final group behind the fishbowl consisted of 100+ women who gave only massages with no sex. The quoted price was 500 baht for two hours.

There is a fourth group of women who stay in a separate room. These are the newbies. They are usually 18-23 years old. They don't wear the evening gowns or heavy makeup that you see worn by the women behind the fishbowl. Instead, they wear typical street clothes that you see most young Thai women wearing in the shopping malls, e.g., blue jeans. Interestingly, the same 1,700 baht price for two hours was quoted for the newbies which included massage + sex.

If you're looking for a Thai massage with no sex (I think a HJ is included), I'd highly recommend CP2 since they have a large number of women to select from. Although they are older, some of them weren't too bad looking.

For a soapy massage, I can't give it my full endorsement. Again, the selection (7 p.m. visit) was limited, they appeared older than at other MPs, and overall not as good looking. For a body-to-body massage, I didn't get the soapy air mattress ride. The bath tub was also too small.

After my session, I did roam around the place. In the back, they have a big lounge with a live band with Thai women as lead singers. Although I didn't know what they were singing, they sounded good. The audience was filled with older Thai men and younger women sitting around tables eating dinner. I did notice that some Thai men would enter CP2, select a women from behind the fishbowl, and then take them to the lounge for dinner and drinks. I think this is why there weren't any beautiful women behind the fishbowl.

As always, YMMV. I do recommend that you at least visit the place to check it out. Who knows, you might see someone who catches your fancy.

Actually this place caters to Japanese locals and tourists. That's why the light-skinned, Sino-Chinese looking girls are called "Superstars".

Yujin, I know that the "traditional Thai Massage" places don't offer any sex, but how about the ones that also offer "oil massage"--is a HJ always available as an "extra"? How bad is the rain at this time of year?

Blazers, I saw a few Japanese men, but most of CP2's clients that I saw there were Thai men. I lived in Japan for 17 years and I'm 1/2 Japanese so I'm 100% positive they were Thai men; not Japanese. Perhaps during the weekdays there might be more Japanese men at CP2, but during the evening, I saw mostly Thai men. Also, when Japanese men get together to talk about their selection, they speak Japanese. I didn't hear any Japanese being spoken by anyone there.

During my visit at CP2, most of the girls were not as light skinned, younger, or as pretty as those that I seen at Cupidy, Bangkok Cozy, Barons, etc. These are the type of girls that the Japanese men prefer so I'd be surprised if CP2 would be considered one of their preferred or favorite MP.

Abueko, I've never had an "oil massage" without getting FS. I get too aroused to just be satisfied with a HJ. From what I've been told by others, at the smaller massage parlors or in-house hotel massage services, a HJ is sometimes included with the expectation of a bigger tip.

As for the rain, it would only last for about 10 to 20 minutes but it may almost be described as a downpour. Just duck into a beerbar place and you shouldn't even need an umbrella, in fact, the days I did cart one around, it generally never got used. You can usually anticipate the rain by the buildup of the heat/humidity factor, it has to be relased, but then the temps. cool down afterward, a welcome relief. It's not really so hot that it's unpleasant though. Aircon is in wide-spread use there.

Many of the traditional Thai massage places also offer oil massage, which is in a private room and the one I had did cost me 1000B for a topless HJ. I think that was expensive but because she had a beautiful face and nice full tits, for me it was worth it. She was not willing to do FS in the place but I'm certain that off premises sex could be arrainged if you really liked the girl. Anyways, I find the traditional Thai massage very satisfying and it's a great way to relax and restore your energy; these are offered generally in a large non-private room but a private VIP room could be requested. I liked the non-private rooms better for Thai massage though because the girls constantly laugh and talk constantly while they massage their customers. Most of the traditional Thai massage girls are rather simple looking, so if you were to want FS, go to a soapy massage like CP2, Darling or the others, or go to a beer-bar, or go-go bar for the better looking girls.

I went to CP2 during the day and heard only Japanese. I speak Thai, I know the difference. The night shift might be different.

I have lived in Thailand for over 5 years and I would have to say the best MP I've ever been to is the New Cleopatra. Great selection, service has always been good as well. I do speak Thai very well and it is basically for Thai's however Farang have started to go in recently. Price starts at 1900 baht and goes up to 2800 for the side girls. I have had my share of hotties there. A bit business like but hey, if I wanted the GFE I wouldn't be going to a MP! Check it out, it's worth a look.

fyi.. thai men do not like to use condoms... is they frequent a place it is because the pooying do not make them wear them.... think about that for a while.....

The business card has a map but the address is in Thai and although I read Thai fairly well, I don't want to tell you to go to the wrong place. The telephone numbers are: 02 246-6675 thru 85.

It is open around 4 PM but alot of the girls start rolling in around 5-6PM. The first time I went it was 1900 baht. The last time 2500. I also have had a 'superstar' for 2800. All of the girls I took were fine. This is not a farang massage parlor so the girls tend to be more white. Good luck...

New Cleopatra smokes all of them, especially Atami! Actually I believe it was 2400, not 2500. There will be no bargaining at this place. It is very plush, quite nice and they do not need customers, at all. It tried the "I have always paid 1900 trick" and I was told flat out, "I am sorry but the price is now 2400." When I started walking out, nothing was said and they didn't give a shit. They deal mostly with Thai's and don't play alot of the games they play at other MP's. The girls there are by far alot finer than the other two places. Check it out....

I hadnt been to Chao Prya 2 massage in bkk for a while so I almost forgot how big the place is. Sat down and ordered a heineken while I looked over the 60 or so ladies in the fishbowl. Picked out a cutie and took the elevator up to the room. Find out she's 21 years old from udon thani and been working there for 6 months. The whole bath and massage was pretty machanical but she seemed to loosen up a bit when I got her on the bed. Ended up going 2 rounds as she was quite the performer. Tipped her 500 baht for her services and she gave me her mobile number. Seems she's up for a bit of action on the side as well. All in all a good experience.

I exited at Phya Thai Station. I considered this fate and headed towards the massage parlor. Well I was VERY sore all over my body today... mainly in the legs and the back of my arms, no doubt due to all the walking and hot temperatures. A massage would do me some good!

The sign in front of Chao Phya II states that they are the best. There is no question in my mind.. There is no other massage parlor that can beat this place. In the fishbowl were about 100 ladies, about 30 are hotties. Absolutely great I tell ya! I wasted no time and told the nearest Papasan that I wanted #50. He said, "Ah #50 very nice... stay here." He walked off to the cash registers (where you pay for the girl). Does it sound like a meat market to you?

He came back after a few moments, and told me 4:30 PM or maybe earlier at 4:00 PM.

- I was thinking that she hadn't started work yet.

I asked, "Oh she starts work at 4:30?"

- Then the lightbulb turned on, she wasn't coming to work. She was already at work, with a customer!

He was puzzled, looked straight at me, and said, "No, she is with a customer. Only one hour more, please wait in lobby."

DOH!!!

Now some people are wondering... Doesn't that piss me off? Actually it doesn't. The massage parlor is her job... so it's all part of the game.

I took a seat in the lobby, facing the fishbowl of course.Now this was a test of willpower, as the world's hottest women were getting picked off in the fishbowl. A steady stream would be selected by customers. A steady stream was also coming back from their sessions with customers. I wanted to smash down the glass windows leading to the fishbowl and have my way with those girls. It was truly amazing to see all those great looking ladies, but I had to resist the temptation as I was here for #50.

After 45 minutes, the Papasan that I had talked to before sat down with me.

"So... You want number 50... number fifty very good. You wait here a long time." He looked at his watch. "About 45 minutes. Do want to pick another lady?."

I told him, "No just number 50." The Papasan must have been thinking, "Man she has her hooks into you buddy."

Finally after an hour, the Papasan told me that #50 was back and to go the the cash registers. As I rounded the corner, the Papasan was there, proudly presenting #50. She looked great, but there was just a small problem.

She wasn't the same #50 from my last trip! Son of a bitch!

"She isn't number 50." I told the Papasan

The girl (Qwan) looked down at her chest, where there was a big ass red button with #50 in white letters.

The Papasan also looked at the button, pointed to it, and said "Yes, number 50. Same Same"

The girl was looking at me strangely. It was as if she was trying to shift through her mental database, trying to figure out if she knew me.

"She look nice. Give her a try." The Papasan said.

She did look great. Almost looked Japanese... Ah what the hell, I paid 1600 baht for two hours. Qwan must have been elated, since she was just back from a session. There was no massage mattress in the room. It appears I am just getting the bath and sex. It was a very nice session with lots of TLC (Tender Loving Care), Deep Kissing, etc. etc. She didn't speak much English, but that doesn't really matter to me. I am willing to make the effort to communicate. It also makes things very interesting.

A fine report ... thank you. CP-II is my favorite also.

Visited CP2 yesterday and was disappointed. Could not get the top end rate below 1750. My choice from the fish bowl (#94) was beautiful (9.5) but bath was brief and the massage weak at best. Enthusiastic actress on the bed. Basicly just a quick dip and a f*** for 1750baht. My "two hours" barely lasted one. I really wanted a massage and not just sex. Oh well.

Ok... here is the dissenting opinion. One of my trip reports from last year.

As I walk in the front doors, I notice that the place is quiet. Lots of people inside, but it is very quiet. No one came to help me... no one asked what I wanted. They leave you alone here and it is a very no pressure environment. I didn't know what to do so I sat down at a table along the right wall. Ordered an orange juice for 90 baht. See about 20 people milling around, all Thai. In front of me is the fishbowl... with all the girls inside behind a huge glass window panes. The fishbowl is very well lit with bright fluorescent lights. The side that I was on was very dim. The girls are seated on the other side. Some were looking at me (yes they can see you through the glass), some were doing their makeup, while others were playing some handheld games. I was later told by one of the girls that there is a television set that the girls can watch. The atmosphere was sorta eerie for me, it felt almost like a zoo with the women on display. Most of them wore some type of dress ranging from cocktail dresses to miniskirts.

Status Report as of 03/18/2003:

The only real change since my last visit in 2002 has been the prices. The soapy massage girls are 1,800 baht. The superstars are 1,800 baht. The regular no-sex massage girls are 600 baht. I was a bit surprised when the host told me that the soapy girls and the superstars were the same price so I had to ask him twice. Perhaps I still misunderstood him, but I'm sure that's what he told me.

Anyway, I did pick a superstar. The charge was 1,800 baht. I was lead to a VIP room. The superstars give you everything that the soapy massage girls give except the slip-and-slide air mattress treatment.

As in my previous visits, the quantity and quality of talent is lacking. I usually have to wait 30 minutes to an hour before I find someone who I find attractive. However, when I have selected girls at CP2, they've always been winners with great attitudes. Some have been rare repeat visits for me. I guess I've been lucky with my selections or I enjoy looking for that gem in the rough.

The one thing that I really like about CP2 (besides the no taxi surcharge) is that you can loiter around without being pressured to make a quick pick. For this reason, I highly recommend CP2 for a newbie.

I also went to CP1. The host quoted 2,000 baht for a soapy massage. I told him CP2 was only charging 1,800 baht. He was firm on 2,000 baht until I walked toward the door. He then agreed to 1,800 baht. It sure is nice to have competition nearby!

I also find the fact that you can lounge around at CP2 a big plus. Last time I was there I ordered lunch (which was not bad) and had it served at one of the tables in front of the fishbowl (alternatively you can have your meals served in the adjacent restaurant). The lack of pressure to make a quick selection makes for a much more relaxing stay.

When I first went to CP2 a few years ago, they had a separate room for newbie girls. Most of the girls were students who did this part-time. As of my most recent visits from March 15-23, 2003, the viewing window has been boarded-up. It's no big deal for me. I had my worest experience with a newbie. A friend on the other hand, had one of his best experience and she visited him at the Nana Hotel.

During my recent trip, I did something for the first time - a three-peat. Yep, three visits to the same "superstar" at CP2. She wasn't the prettiest, but great attitude, outstanding service (the front desk had to ring the room to let her know the 2-hour time limit was up during each visit), and big natural tits (biggest that I've ever had in Thailand) which was a surprise since she doesn't promote it by showing cleavage when she's in the fishbowl. Made the required trip to CP-2 even though Thip wasn't there. When I got there at 1:00 PM there were only about 30 girls there and most of them were in the traditional massage section. Three or four were in the superstar section and maybe six in the body massage section. Sometimes it's tough to get a taxi to take you to CP2. I think the drivers prefer to take punters to CP1 for the commission so they pretend not to understand where you really want to go.

To make things a little easier, print out this card and show it to your taxi driver.

Direction to Chao Praya 2 and J One using the Sky Train.

From the Nana Station (25b) or Phloen Chit (20b) take the Sky Train to the Phayathai Station. Here is the most important part – when exiting, walk towards the front of the train (if coming from Nana). Beyond the exit gate, to the right, you will see EXIT 4, which veers right over the street running along and next to the station. Sri Ayuthaya Road, the street with the 2 MPs, runs perpendicular to the train tracks; it runs across the front of the station. Now walk 5 minutes down the Sri Ayuthaya Road away from the station, and you will come to J One. On the other side of street, you will find CP2 after an additional 5 minutes of walking. There is a walking overpass bridge just before and after J One. You must use one of the two bridges to cross Sri Ayuthaya Road. There is an ATM just after the first bridge on the CP2 side.

Observations about Chao Praya 2

There are things to like and dislike about this place. Overall, I liked this place over the other three MPs I visited: Eden Club, Darlings and J One. I’ll start with the not to likes, which can be significant: 3bjs ran at about 25% and dfk ran at about 20%. In addition, this place seems to be a one SOG (shot on goal) place, or perhaps, I let off the women too easily. If 3bjs, dfk and multiple SOGs are important to you, you are better off going to the go-gos, and ask the job seekers the appropriate interview questions. The biggest reason I liked this place was that the papasans and mamasans do not hover over you. If you need help in choosing, you can ask any of them for advice. The only one that might pester you for a decision is the guy with the goatee but that is only after seeking his help. If you ask any of them whether so and so does whatever, they (and I found this to be true for all the MPs.) will say yes, and they will then tell the woman what you want. The woman may still not comply, but she is warned about what you want beforehand. As has been mentioned, you can hang-out there for as long as you want. Sit at one of the tables outside of the fishbowl – order or not order a drink. No one seems to care, and no one will chase you away.

My second day in BKK I spent 9 hours here. I was here 2-4 hours here on days 3 and 4, and I spent 6 hours here my last day. I got comfortable at CP2. I’m going to Rio in a month, so DFK and 3bjs weren’t absolutely necessary for me at the MPs. I wanted to experience and figure-out the MPs as best as I could. I had 2 body massage women and 2 superstars in one day, which translates into 2 slip and slides and four baths in those 9 hours. You can observe a lot about a place over the course of 20 plus hours.

#1: The minute you enter the MP and gaze into the fishbowl, you are looking at the LEFTOVERS of the past two hours. At other MPs, you HAVE to select from the leftovers in the fishbowl. At CP2, you do not have to immediately choose from whatever remains. If you don’t like what you see, you can wait to see the other that are here. Not only are women finishing their sessions and reentering the fishbowl, women are just getting to work also. The great thing about CP2 is that you can wait and wait.

#2: The Superstars seem to be late teens and onwards with the vast majority being in their late teens to early 20s. The body massage women seem to be mid-twenties and onwards. It seems that as a superstar starts aging and her business starts slipping away towards the younger women, she can add a new hook -- the slip and slide -- to continue in the business. The flip side to adding the slip and slide is that foreigners will be your primary clientele. Thai men seem to opt for the superstars or the traditional massage women.

#3: The slip and slide wasn’t as erotic as thought it was going to be. I guess it is really meant to be a form of massage rather than erotic entertainment. The speed at which the women slip and slide combined with the oil and suds eliminated all friction, which is what would make the slip and slide erotic for me. Her bush is only thing that provided friction. If I could speak Thai, I would have asked her to slow down to the point of being in slow motion. I think slipping and sliding on the mattress alone would feel almost the same as having the woman rapidly slipping and sliding on me. One woman filled the bathtub with suds and slipped and slid on me very slowly (of course, including Russian) in the bathtub – now, that was extremely erotic. Some were attractive (for 30 and 40 year olds), but many were not. And what is their take of the 500 baht. The superstars and body massage women got 1000 baht of the 1800 baht we pay.

#6: Why don’t women solicit tips here (or at J One)? After Darlings, I assumed that tipping was the norm everywhere. After paying with 2 one thousand baht notes, I would give the change to the women, and they seemed to be very grateful. Do the Thai men not give tips? Was I too cheap with the tips? The women tip the cleaning women 20 baht before leaving the room. By the way, the rooms were very clean, nicely appointed and most appeared to be recently refurbished.

#7: I found it a bit strange that the waitresses were teenage girls. The older sister of a waitress could have been in the fishbowl, and mom could have been…

#8: I was consistently surprised to find the complexion of most of the women to be a shade or two darker when out of the fishbowl. The whiteness or darkness of complexion doesn’t matter to me, but the lighting in the fishbowl makes women appear to have a lighter complexion than they really have. Some have noted a bias against dark complexion women in the MPs. The lighting in the fishbowl seems to support that assessment, but I think there is a greater bias against women with the pug or flat nose women (who also tend to have a very dark complexion) that is typical of many Thais.

#9: I had some very spicey food one humid afternoon, and I was reeking of the stuff through my perspiration and pores the rest of the day. A women sniffed me this day, and I don’t blame her. When I took a crap, my butthole stung, as well. I didn’t have spicey food the rest of the trip. I was wondering if this happened to others; especially, if you don’t have spicey foods very often.

#10: I kept forgetting to ask a papasan or mamasan what is being said on that recorded message you periodically hear. It starts with music, then a women says something and then the music plays again. What's up with this?

#11: I found the Thai women to be very attractive. The facial and physical beauty of the Thai women far exceeded my expectations. The photos are not kind to them.
