Rawhide is first bar on south/right side if entering Soi Cowboy from Asok.

Same ownership/management as Long Gun. Some dancers work both. Was never crowded when I visited. Place is more brightly lit and has different feel than Long Gun. Come here if you don't like crowd of Long Gun.

Mamasan here tried to hook me up with very attractive lady by name of Ae who also works Long Gun. Petite with fair skin and hair hanging in front of face. Other guy had her two nights in row and she didn't show up for work last night I was there. Disappointed.

I like Rawhide when Long Gun too crowded.

Full nudity at Raw Hide tonight. First time I had tried the place and am very impressed. Lot's of cute girls, prices lower than NEP ... Just said "good night" to Ning who wants to see me tomorrow (of course) I lied and said I had to leave tomorrow. Add Raw Hide to list of bars I can't go to now until next trip. Ning 9/9/9 400Baht bar fine. 1200 Baht short time.

Raw hide is a winner. there were a few good looking girls there and was tempted to take 2 at once. will come back here for sure once i get back from PI. it seems to me that Soi Cowboy looks better the NEP, less expensive and more quality for that matter.///

All the cabbies know Soi Cowboy. It is smaller than Pat Pong but the overall quality is better.

It is yout typical Thai bar, but nicely done and very pretty girls. The beer prices are resonable, $40B and you can enjoy yourself without being pressured. There is no cover but allways ask before going in. Girls are available short time($1100) or for the night($1600B) and the bar fine is $400B. The area is safe but there a few Katoey bars on the strip so be carefull and not be fooled.

Girls will have to show an ID at your hotel and you may have to pay a small surcharge but it is worth it for the security that you won't be ripped off.

Overall quality of what is better at Soi Cowboy as compared to Patpong ?? Certainly not the girls. If you get there at 8PM you will likely be alone with the bartender. The girls are all still home humping their Thai boyfriends.

The girls at Rawhide rotate between Long Gun and Rawhide as have same owners. That's why you can find an occasional hottie there, On my last trip nothing but bowsers to be seen however. They used to have a really raunchy lesbian show in the good ole days. Alas Never More !!

went to Rawhide in my last trip and always pleased with this place. drinks are not overly expensive. love the music and the shows are good to watch. lucky to found this girl that actually works at long Gun, her named was Dee, a sweet girl, bf'd her (B2,000 an). then we went to the movies to watch "the fantastic four" at Emporium, she was thrilled. i really liked to take girls out and enjoy ourselves and not just go to the hotel for sex. a nice girl, told me she's leaving next year, going to live with a relative in Europe. i wish i could find her next time i go to LOS but anyways wished her my very best. highly recomend this bar.////

LONG GUN and RAW HIDE are two institutions in Soi Cowboy. Long Gun in particular still gets busy, but alas there is little else on this street to attract seasoned mongers. Stickman was reporting that bars in Soi Cowboy are foolish to raise their prices, and Stickman rates Nana Plaza BG's way above those of Soi Cowboy.

Both bars share ownership- at least used to. Some of the dancers go back and forth between the two bars. In the good ole days before Toxin rawhide was totally nude and had some pretty raunchy shows- it was Long Gun with much more sleaze. The last time I went in there- admittedly about a year ago it was deserted with grazing cattle on the stage.

KM this is so true. Since the draconian laws were introduced to BKK bars, many bars like RAW HIDE have taken a nose dive. It's just a shame that NO other go-go's have the creativity for Fantasy Shows that ANGEL WITCH have. LONG GUN has changed ownership and it's merely a shadow of the once great Show Bar that it was. In fact "NUN" who is the Superstar Showgirl in ANGEL WITCH (with the big boobs) was originally a LONG GUN Showgirl.

Had a decent crowd last night. Some of the shows were entertaining. A couple hotties mixed in the lot. They added a nice little shower scene off to the side of the stage near the entrance. All the girls got naked often.

The seats are much more comfortable than the Long gun next door.

I was gonna say do the girls still go naked, actually for a while the shower scene was not working, reads like there got it going again. A lot of mongers do complain about the seats in Long gun, but you know, originally most Gogo`s had seats like this.But of course over the years most places have been refurbished.

Over what years did the go gos have seats like that ?

I've been going to BKK since 1980 and Long Gun is the only bar I've ever been in with those crappy seats.

I mean a makeshift gogo from the original shop or office the gogo took over.

This was probably THE most entertaining bar in Bangkok on my brief visit in July. HOT girls doing a HOT fully nude show, and stage side seats available. Just don't put your drink too close to the action!
