This will be a very short report to share some impressions of my two weeks in Bangkok last month.

First off, the selection at Nana Plaza was really strong, the best I’ve seen it in some years now. There were several bars that had multiple targets, which is not something I can say about all of my trips these past few years. Pretty much my daily routine was to get some afternoon delight in the soi 24, 24/1, 26 area, and then pull from Nana at night. I also must caveat this statement that when I say “strong,” I am of course referring to the type of girl that I find attractive – spinners and slender girls. For those who do not like what I do, they may think the selection to be terrible. To each their own.

For Nana, I pulled from Erotica (CH Link), Billboard (CH Link), Mandarin (CH Link), Enter (CH Link), Bangkok Bunnies (CH Link), and Twister (CH Link). I pulled twice each from Erotica, Billboard, and Bangkok Bunnies, and repeated with an Erotica girl and the girl from Twister. I tried to repeat with the one from Enter, but I never found her again. Erotica has a special place in my heart, and I always start my trips there. I could have pulled more from the bar, but I ran out of time.

Billboard was a lot of fun, and I could have pulled more from there as well. Again, I ran out of time. Enter is a new bar on the third floor, next to Billboard, and it coughed up a delicious spinner for me. The mamasans in there were really nice and one spoke very good English. Bangkok Bunnies was super fun. It was very playful inside and the place was rocking. And it is still enormous inside.

One of the biggest treats of the trip was a super delicious spinner out of Twister. Twister occupies the space that used to be Rainbow 4. I was in Rainbow 3 (CH Link) one evening nursing a drink and conducting a talent evaluation, when two farang walked in with an insanely cute uber spinner. I immediately thought “wow” and wanted to pay more attention to her than what was on stage. Ultimately they left and I left soon after.

I spotted them again outside of Rainbow 5 (CH Link), and as they entered I asked one of them where they found her. He said she worked at Twister. Duly noted. So the next evening, Twister was my first stop. I got a stool in the middle aisle so I could monitor traffic in and out the front door, plus the back area. My efforts were rewarded when I saw her come in to work, and then come out of the dressing room and clock in. I didn’t even let her get to the stage before she was on the stool next to me with a drink in front of her. The barfine was high (1000) and so was her fee (3000), but this one I had to have.

And have I did. And it was good. It was very good. I repeated a few nights later, and would have repeated again, but time was against me, and the return to reality beckoned. She was about 4’10 and very good looking. A diamond to say the least.

Barfines at Erotica were 700 and amazingly the girls there were still asking for just 2000 short time, bless their hearts. Billboard barfines were 700 and girls asking for 3000 but taking 2500. Bangkok Bunnies barfines and asking prices were identical to Billboard. Enter barfines were 800 and girls going for 2500. As I said earlier, Twister barfines were 1000, and my sample of one went for 3000, though you can probably get some others in there for 2500. At Mandarin I did something I’ve never done before, which is take a despised coyote. The barfine for her was 1500. The girl took 2500. I only agreed to cough up that money because someone tipped me off to some special services she provided. Ahem…

The new Butterflies (CH Link), which replaced JailBirdz has comfy couches, but I did not pull from there. One night while walking on the second floor passing Diamonds (CH Link), a cute spinner tried to pull me in. I was out of ammo for the day but told her I’d return another night, which I did. I found her, pulled her off the stage for a drink, and proceeded to be completely uninterested in any further interaction. Major interview failure. After all the energy she expended the other night, all I could think of was “huh.”

Nana was so good that it was very late in the trip before I managed to visit Cowboy. On my penultimate night of the trip, I finally made it down there. I started at Crazy House (CH Link) and had a drink, allowing me to see both shifts. Egad, the both shifts stunk. Although they were all nude, there was nothing desirable. I poked my head inside Suzy Wong (CH Link) and Shark (CH Link). Both horrible. I then sat down in Lighthouse (CH Link) for another drink and saw both shifts. Nadda. I checked out Tilac (CH Link), Dollhouse (CH Link), Long Gun (CH Link) and Rawhide (CH Link). Zero, Zip, Zilch. Few dancers and all ugly. Cowboy seemed to be an apparition. I hightailed it back to Nana.

In addition to the strength of Nana, the mini-massage parlors in the soi 24-26 area were also quite strong. I visited them every day and pulled from Addict (CH Link), B&B (CH Link), Boss (CH Link), Love Love (CH Link), Snow White (CH Link), 101 Premier (CH Link), Club 102 (CH Link), and CanCam (CH Link). For lovers of spinners and slender girls, B&B had the best selection – I pulled twice from there. I also pulled twice from Addict.

Over the years I’ve managed on a couple of occasions of being the very first customer on a girl’s first day at work. This happened again with my second pull from Addict, a spinner from Chiang Mai (who with her light skin, I predicted will be a huge moneymaker there). I actually saw her in street clothes on soi 24 as I walked to Addict, but I didn’t know at the time where she worked. I went inside and saw the lineup, but didn’t pull. As I walked through the front door to leave, she went right past me to enter. I then immediately pulled a u-turn and followed her in. Pointing to her I said to the mama-san “Does she work here? If so, sold!”

She had just shown up to start her very first shift. She clocked in and then took me upstairs in her streetclothes. I repeated with her the following day. While waiting for her I wound up chatting with the guy on the couch next to me, who was also waiting for his favorite to arrive. It turned out to be the infamous Lecherous Lee, who I had met some 12 years ago in Angelwitch. Small world.

I had a memorable session at 101 Premier, which sits on a small side soi off of soi 26, about 100 meters down from Snow White. My pull spoke Japanese, so the two of us chattered in Japanese for the session. I repeated with a spinner at CanCam who had a nice body.

The place called Love Love served up a spinner that turned out to be the star of the trip. She threw down and knew the drill. I had a stellar session, even managing two pops with her. I tried multiple times to find her again, but that was essentially the last day she worked at the place. As was explained to me later, the next day the owner got angry and screamed at his entire staff. All the girls were pissed and called in sick. My little treasure not only called in sick, she went to work somewhere else, though the mama-sans didn’t know where. Sigh.

I meant to visit Tulip, but never got the chance. I also meant to go out to the big joints on Ratchadaphisek, but given how good Nana was, I also never made it. If Nataree was still around, I am sure I would have. R.I.P. Nataree….

The prices for the little massage places are pretty much the same. I paid prices such as 2000, 2100, 2200, 2300, and 2500 for 60 and 90 minute sessions. One place, Club 102 had a separate room charge of 200, which wasn’t worth it given the broken aircon.

Another nice facet of the trip was the number of Hombres I got to see. My first night there I met Catocony for the very first time, after being on this board for 17-odd years. I met him at his hotel and then we walked to Nana. I told him my tradition was to always start a trip at Erotica, so that’s where I took him. It didn’t take me long to pull, and that’s where I left him for the evening.

The next day I met up with Xenono for his one day in town, and we did a run down to the soi 24-26 area together, where we each did back to back sessions. After that we met up with Bwana Dik and Catocony for dinner. It was my second time meeting Bwana, and Xenono had never met either of them. Bwana and I were able to meet up a few more times before his short trip ended a few days later. Don Marco also came into town with his wife in tow, and I was able to see him a few times, though no bar-hopping with him. I was able to introduce him to Bwana at a dinner on Bwana’s last night. It was a very rare opportunity to see four different hombres in the span of a week.

All in all it was a good trip. I still miss the Bangkok of old when the dynamics with the girls were completely different to what they are now. But those days are gone, and in light of the new reality, I had a good time.

Happy, it's been about 10 years since I've bothered to take photos of girls. I do however have a story to share about a video I found online. Once I rustle up that link, I'll post. And you'll be able to watch my greatest barfine, ever, in action.

i agree on nana plaza holding the title right now (i prefer the spinner type also). i used to spend most of my time on cowboy but now it is the other way around - nana all the way.

Nice report. It's interesting to hear of some new bars. Going off of names alone I like Bangkok Bunnies, someone should have thought of that name a long time ago. 5 Rainbows? I had no idea there were that many and thumbs down on naming them all the same.

Sad to hear about Soi Cowboy. It was dead the last time I went to Thailand in 2008. Long Gun and Rawhide used to be my favorites. On thing that's great about Nana is that for better or worse it's right there. You can spend all day exploring Bangkok safe in the knowledge that the smorgasbord of pussy is awaiting you at night.

Last Sept Nana girls were still getting ready at 9:30pm , last week they were all on stage at 9pm.

Pattaya gogo's, all the talent clears out before 11pm with maybe an exception on Sun/Mon (slower days)

Ceenotes, I have long been an advocate and practitioner of the "early bird gets the worm." I like to get to Nana at 8. The majority of girls are already at work or arriving around that time. By 8:30 in most bars you're up to 75-80% of the staff on the clock. And most the rest are there by 9. Its the stragglers that come in after that.

mandarin and erotica seem to be ready to go by 8:30. the rainbow bars take a little longer so i put those in the 'visit at 9:30' slot.

i've been starting off at the tiki bar (formerly lucky luke's), on the right as you enter the plaza. great spot to watch the talent arrive, beer is 90thb until 8pm. and they play decent music (stuff with guitars and vocals !!!).

i used to start all nights at cowboy and watch the parade there (then go to nana or wherever). but most of the talent goes to crazy house and they don't need to walk down cowboy so that parade is over.

I, like you, had the same thoughts about finally meeting Cat and Bwana. Hard to believe it only took 17+ years for me to finally meet those two CH legends. It was great meeting them both and hearing their Rio stories.

A couple of random thoughts.

Thailand is not a destination for me anymore, but I do get there several times a year for some short trips or when friends are in town. Mandarin has been consistently good to me, despite the higher barfine prices for the coyotes.

I love Billboard. Pulled several from there during this stay and also on some previous short trips. They have such a huge, high quality lineup. And the service is typically very good – despite an interesting dispute I had there with a waitress and the manager about a barfine.

Bangkok Bunnies has been good to me on previous trips. But not so much this trip and the one immediately preceding this one. I have found the lineup there very inconsistent.

Butterflies and formerly JailBirdz I like. I have had several good, hot sessions from ladies there on multiple trips. But the lineup this trip wasn't as good as it has been previously.

I've had some surprisingly good pulls from Rainbow 3. I have never been fond of the Rainbow chain much, but Rainbow 3 can be pretty good at times.

I like Erotica. But I always view that spot with a little trepidation. Seems like a few post-ops ladyboys and many fake tits there.

Quick story about Lighthouse. (I think that was the place.) I happened to be in BKK the day the king died. That night, all the bars in Cowboy were open, but there was no music and no dancing. You could still barfine. I hopped from bar to bar in this surreal environment with all the lights on and everyone just sitting and drinking quietly. I ended up settling on a hardened pro from Lighthouse that had probably been working in the bar scene far too long. But she gave me what I wanted and it was a hot session with an attractive, slim lady. I had the pleasure of some good boom boom that night. The following evening the police ordered all the bars closed for the period of mourning and I hightailed it out of town.

One other funny story from that trip. I barfined a lady from Billboard. While I was in the shower, she apparently took some selfies on my phone. My phone was locked, but the camera function still worked. Like Murasaki, I stopped bothering to take and ask for pics long ago. But I did get a nice surprise when I was going through my gallery a few days later. Both of her in her street clothes and later just her in a towel waiting for me to fuck her.

As always, good to see everyone. Let's hope it is not another 17 years before we all meet again.

Xenono, are you thinking of the old second floor Erotica, now called "Chili" (or something like that)? That is now 100% a ladyboy bar. The Erotica on the third floor is all girls. I don't think I even saw fake tits in there this trip.

I think Murasaki had a better time this round because he usually goes during the slow-season from summer up till Nov.
Jan/Feb is somewhat high-season and gogo's are running full speed.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I have a video of a bargirl to share. Here is the video, and the backstory. You’re about to see the greatest bargirl ever – in my personal pantheon.

The video was shot in the old “lower Erotica” on the second floor of Nana Plaza. It dates from around 2010 or 2011, as you can briefly still see the pool table in there for those who remember it. The primary girl in the video is #6, and from about the one-minute mark to the end the video focuses on her. Her name is Nam, and I first met her on November 27, 2010.

I was double-dipping that night. I had already done a girl from Lollipop, and went back to Nana for seconds. First I checked out upper Erotica on the third floor, and then went downstairs to meet my destiny. I walked in and did a lap around the stage. On the far side of the stage I immediately saw Nam, who as you can see in the video, was a skinny spinner with braces. I saw that body and, like the seagulls in Finding Nemo, said “mine.” I sat down and pulled her off the stage immediately.

Nam was delighted, and when she arrived at my seat, she snuggled up to me and gave me DFK. Holee sheet. Sold! For the first and only time in my life to this day, I barfined her immediately without bothering with an interview. A girl this hot who DFKs in the bar is not going to disappoint in the room! And she didn’t. She turned out to be phenomenal in the sack. Nam truly loved sex. I wound up barfining her 8 times over the next two months as I was in and out of Bangkok on my extended trip, a personal record number for me that still stands to this day. The first night was short time, but the next seven were all long times.

However, in one of those “it’s a small world” stories, in January of 2015, I met another spinner working in lower Erotica, which had then been named “Erotica Chill.” She was quite chatty and spoke decent English for a bargirl, and would hang out in my room for a few hours when I barfined her. She had worked in that bar for a long time, and she thought she knew who my Nam was. When I saw her again in October of 2015, we got to talking about Nam again, and she whipped out her phone to bring up a Facebook page.

She showed me the page and asked “is this her?” It was Nam’s page! It turned out that Nam used to be her roommate! That had me laughing at the coincidence. The first thing I noticed was that Nam was no longer skinny. She told me that Nam gained a lot of weight after her braces were removed. She also gave me more details about Nam’s life. She wound up living for a few years with the Japanese boyfriend in a suburb north of Bangkok (and as of early this year, she is now living with a Thai boyfriend and working as a masseuse).

It was nice to at least find out what happened to my all-time favorite go-go bar girl. And this leads to how I found this video. It was a few nights later, and I was with the same girl again from lower Erotica. We had finished up a session and were in the shower when I started singing the Nana song by the Isan project. She had never heard it, so I told her I would play it for her after we toweled off. When we were all cleaned up, we were back on the couch, and I showed her the song on my laptop.

Then she told me that she had heard about a sex video involving two girls from Erotica with a guy. She said a customer showed it to her friend, and she asked me to do a search for it, which I did. Going through the search results, I clicked on one video, but it wasn’t it. Then I saw a link on the right side of the page that said something about Erotica gogo, and went “what’s this?” It turned out to be the video you are about to see. The video started and the girl said immediately “that’s Nam,” and I said “holy shit, you’re right.” I couldn’t believe it. I had no photos of her, and now here she was in a video. It made my day.

As you can see, Nam was so skinny in it, and the girl said “she’s a lot fatter now.” But still it brought back a flood of memories for me watching her dance in that video. So without further ado, meet my greatest bargirl ever:

Thanks, Murasaki, it's always good to hear the latest about the ebb & flow between Nana and Cowboy. Seems like one excels for a few years, then the other has a resurgence.

I too fell for a spinner named Nam a decade ago, part of my continuing education. Water finds its own course, eh?

It's been a little more than a year and a half since I was last in Bangkok, and I have typically wasted little time with the sometimes stunning coyote girls, since their goal seemed to be to get you to spend money WITHOUT barfining. Is it commonplace for coyote girls to barfine now?

Tujunga, coyotes seem to play different roles between Nana and Cowboy. At Nana, they are barfinable, just at a much higher rate than the "regular" girls. At Cowboy, historically they are just eye candy and nothing more. That still seems to be the case in the bars owned by "The Arab" as he is called. But some other bars in Cowboy seem to be using them in the Nana style. I believe Shark was doing this. Maybe Buick can comment if he sees this, as he spends a lot of time on Cowboy.

shark, lighthouse, and dollhouse all have coyotes. i'd say 50% go with customers. i don't go to tilac much but i assume they have them now also. contrast that to upper mandarin (nana), where 90% of the coyotes go with customers.

most members here know to stay away from the bars owned by 'the arab'. rio, sahara, midnite, spice girls, deja vu, and kiss. there are three of them on each side of cowboy. there have been multiple reports of people sitting down for a couple drinks and then presented with a bill of 15,000thb. if not paid, threats are made with various outcomes. so definitely stay out of those bars. even guys that paid when they ordered have been presented with a bill when they tried to leave, so the pay as you go method doesn't work.

back to the coyote thing, the whole introduction of the coyote led to a change in how the girls are compensated. as an example, the girls used to get a salary of 12,000 but to 'qualify' for that they needed to get 50 lady drinks during the month and only got 4 days off. some bars also required a minimum number of bar fines (10-12) during the month. if a girl wanted to work just a few nights a week, she had to pay the bar 500thb/nt.

now, all the girls are paid on per night basis. at nearly all the bars on cowboy, nana, and patpong. ranges from 500 to 900thb and sometimes they have to get a lady drink that night to qualify for the payment.

what i've seen as a result of this is a serious reduction in the 'can you buy me drink' thing. before the girls really needed drinks to make sure they got their salary. now drinks are nice to get (they get 50thb or so from the drinks, sometimes coyotes get more) but the girls go home with at least 500thb from the bar so not as big a deal as it used to be.
