How safe are the islands (Cebu & Luzon)? I would like to visit Lapu-lapu, Manila and Angeles city on my next trip this spring to the pacific rim.

By Cheng_Ho on Friday, December 01, 2000 - 09:17 pm:  Edit

I can only speak on Manila and HEAVEN (aka Angeles City). If you like to watch sex shows go to Manila. If you like to create and star in your own sex show cheaply, go to Angeles City. I've heard the area around Cubic Bay is nice too.

At any rate, I didn't get into anything in Manila. My visits there were mostly looking around trying to find an ATM I could use. (yep there's a story with that.) Manila is pretty much like LA when it comes to crime, minus the guns, add more poverty. It is a huge city, such that even the Filipinos living there get lost. I heard that from a guy living in Manila. I've also heard the bars in Manila are a lot nastier than Angeles City, and the girls are a little more expensive.

If I were to compare Tijuana, Seoul, Angeles City, and the multiple stories I've heard about Japan, Angeles wins easily. Most of the girls will leave with you for 25 US Dollars or less. I've yet to come across a fee being higher than that. This $25 dollars gets you the girl from whenever the two of you choose to leave the bar until 4 or 5 o'clock the next afternoon--later if she likes you and doesn't pay attention to how soon it is she has to go back to work. If you two want to go eat, dance, shoot pool, shop, whatever, she'll be with you the whole time. In many ways, they are the way our spoiled American chicas, yochas, sistas etc. should be. Even in a regular club they are confident enough to make the first move. Also it seems most of them genuinly love sex and aren't ashamed of that fact. I've had some amazing times over there. And, ooh they are sooooo friendly. I won't bore you with the X-rated details. :-) Treat the few months prior to your trip like many folks do the holiday season and hit the gym before you go.

So what countries are you going? Just out of curiosity when?

By Cheng_Ho on Friday, December 01, 2000 - 09:23 pm:  Edit

Oh, forgot a few things. If it is etched in stone that you visit Angeles, there are many hotels, all of which are cheap, who allow you to make reservations over the internet. Additionally they will pick you up from the airport in Manila.

The only major dangers I've seen in Angeles is the streets. There are trikes and jeepenies zooming around all over the place. Be careful crossing the street. There are a few other pointers you should know about. I'm not sure if you've been before or know someone who has so to keep from preaching to the choir I'll hold up here.

Cheng ho,
Thanks a lot for the information. I have seen a few videos about the Philippines and what they have to offer. I have worked with few here in the states and they were all very friendly and family oriented. I have been hitting the gym lately and am very sore as I'm typing this letter, haha. I want to visit the Philippines, Japan and Thailand. Korea,China and Singapore are also on the list but I only have so much time. I've about the Swagman hotel in Angeles and that they will pick you up when you arrive in Manila, but I have also heard there are better outfits out there to hook up with..better service. Ricks Cafe sounds like an interesting place. I would like to tour the country side and check out Mt. Pinitubo and stuff like that...naturally with an extreme hottie on each arm. I find Asian culture to be most fascinating and there woman the most beautiful in the universe. When was the last time you were out there? Thanks again...if we were there right now I would buy you a San Miguel.

Oh it seems like so long ago. Maybe I'm reopening a wound by going to Tijuana. Of the few times I get to go, everytime I'm there I miss Angeles. The last time I was in Angeles was January 2000. I'd hoped to have gone back this past July. Didn't make it--long story.

I'd appreciate that beer, only I don't drink. How about a pineapple juice instead, and since you'll have your hands full, I've got you or your girl's first drink.

Man if you get over there, the net is a big thing in the city. I'm shocked it hasn't taken off to the same level in TJ. Guess it will just take time. Anyway, Rick's Cafe is one of my favorite places to hang out in the city, and the food is pretty good. Rick's is a large hut with a round bar in the middle. You walk in have a seat, and a drink and watch a bootleg movie of what the rest of America is seeing in the theater, or waiting to come out on video. In most cases the film is clearly blasting through Rick's Bose stereo system. You can order your food right at the bar, and they'll bring it over. Things are very cheap there as well.

For better local food, check out Kokomos or MargaritaVille. The ville is actually now known as Margarita Station. There's a sad story to go along with that name change. Anyway, all three of these places, Ricks, Kokomos, and Margarita have internet cafes.

As for the hotels, the last time I was there I stayed at the Phoenix which is $24 a night. As with many of the hotels, you can reserve a room online. I've seen the Swagman, but it's not in a good spot. You have to make a rather lengthy walk or catch a trike to get to Fields Ave, which is where all the clubs are. I'd say start off looking at the biggest site about Angeles City www.balibago.com From there look in to the American Hotel, the Phoenix, or the Chicago Hotel. Actually, you may want to pass on the Chicago as it is right in the center of the club area. Things don't quiet down until around 2am or 4am. I know. That's usually what caused me to go back to my hotel.

I've wanted to hit that Pinatubo tour both times I was there, and couldn't make it. I hope I get back next year.

Hey that sounds like an empressive tour you are taking. That's a dream tour for me. I've been into Asian culture for the longest time--mainly what I call the big three Qin, Korea, and Japan. Nice to see someone else into it. Do you speak any of the languages? If you know Spanish you'll do real well with Tagalog in the Philippines. What parts of Qin, and Japan are you going to?

Bros,
You are making me REALLY EAGER to get to Angeles City soon. Have never been, but have had a real thang for Filipinas for a LONG time. Maybe this summer...

Hello:

I was happy to see this board up and running. I read the redsnake board frequently.
Anyway, if there is anyone interested in detailed info about Manila and Angeles City let me know. I used to live in Japan and worked for a Japanese steel company. I would go down to the Philippines often and know Manila very well. Manila has good quality but is more expensive then AC. I give a slight edge to Manila in that department. Currently, I'm attending graduate school trying to get my MBA. I live in Chicago and curse the day I moved back. I long for the days of finding a stunner in Jools and taking her back to my hotel....

By Celtics on Wednesday, December 06, 2000 - 01:18 pm:  Edit

How does Angeles City compare with Rio, besides price? Outside of plane fare, I'd expect Angeles City to be way cheaper all the way around. It's the quality of the women I'm interested in. TIA

By Cheng_Ho on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 11:50 pm:  Edit

Ritmo

Bruh, I'm sure you'd love it over there. Anyone who likes Tijuana, would LOVE AC--that is unless the individual does not like Asians. (sad day) If that were the case, it would be the only negative. The times I've been there, everyone is very friendly. That includes those who work in the club, restaurants, shops, hotels, etc. Of course you have those who see you as a dollar sign, but that's anywhere you travel. If you go, just make sure you've got all your info straight before leaving. As it seems there are a few of us on this site who've been blessed to go there and will be willing to tell you all you need to know. I wish it was certain I could go back in 2001. That's still up in the air right now.

Celtics

I've never been to Rio, so unfortunately I can't make a full comparison. What exactly are you looking for? What is quality to you?

CHENG HO BUDDY,
I have a few questions for you. Since i will be traveling by myself, would it be safer to go to Bangkok or Angles city? Have a happy, safe NEW YEARS!
-salsa boy...soon to be sushi boy...haha

By Cheng_Ho on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 12:57 am:  Edit

Sorry about the delay in getting back at you all on this subject. My drunk Uncle Sam is shipping me off to a city called WhurndaHell AmI, Texas for a month so I've been getting ready for that.

First of all the best site to go to about Angeles City is www.Balibago.com. Balibago is the actual name of the area AC is in. www.ACBars.com is a fairly newer site without as much info.

Salsa Boy I've heard Bangkok is a very rough city on the level of New York. I've wanted to go there as well, but I've been told not to try it alone. The thing is I'm one who seeks the adventure so I'm sure I'll eventually go there by myself. Angeles City is a very safe place. The only concern I can think of is on the situation of being in Manila. I was there with a local for a few hours just driving around see. He told me the crime is bad up there--mostly thieves so watch your stuff. As with most major Asian cities be very cautious if you should feel the need to get in a fight with someone.

For making your first trip to Asia I'd say choose Angeles over Bangkok. The only advantage to going to Bangkok is that it may be the cheapest place in the world to get laid--or anything else for that matter. $40 for a tailor made suit.

Hey this goes out to all those who've been to the P.I. or know something about it. Do you all know what Balut is? Should I tell Salsa Boy about it?

By Salsa_Boy on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 09:24 am:  Edit

Yes.....tell me..por favor. Sounds like i should go to Angeles over Bangkok or Pattya. There are some girls on the web who work at the club Illusions and Volcanos, I have never ever seen such beauties in all my life, WOW!!!! May have to grap one and bring her home..haha. What the hell is Balut...some sort of food????? or a blow job technique???
Have a happy and safe NEW YEARS !!!!

By Elpensador on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 04:11 pm:  Edit

Balut is a goose or chicken egg that is fertile and allowed to partially develop. Sometimes they are buried in salt. Then they are hard-boiled. You can see the little head, beak, wings, and feet as you peel it and eat it. Most Americans (canos) need to be drunk to be able to eat one. Filipinos consider them a delicacy. Some guys claim that they enhance your virility.
I stick with the local Mangoes, eaten with a little Bagoong (a sauce having the flavor of a pound of fish per drop). I call Bagoong "minnows in mud sauce". A real tasty version is is called Hapong - it is light tan in color and made from microscopic shrimps.

By Cheng_Ho on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 03:09 am:  Edit

Now you don't think your fellow brothers would let you go over there blind do you? Elpensador is correct in his description of balut. In short it's basically a chicken abortion. I got pressured into eating two of them. They aren't all that bad if you don't look at what you're eating. A gentleman who use to manage the Bonaza Hotel in Angeles once told me of a time he ate one of those things on a plane flight and let a little of the juice dribble out of the side of his mouth. Told me he did this just to make folks cringe. From the description he gave me of the faces he saw looking back at him it worked rather well. :-) Oh and just so you'll know the word when you hear it, when you say the word balut the 'u' is the same as the 'u' in the word hut.

I've had the ladies say the stuff is suppose to improve your sexual performance. Gee, now-a-days what doesn't? I hear Pfizer is coming out with a can of milk that will allow you to do as many bodies good as you want. jk

Hey about that Volcanos site, I haven't been to it in a while. Last time I looked one of the girls I'd met while at Volcano's is on the website. Her name is Maribec, not that this would help anyone much. Maribec, Maribek, Marisal, and Marisil are about as common a name in those clubs as Alejandra and Maria are to TJ, Sue and Yung are in Korea, and Lynn and Ann in the South.

Is it definite that you are going over there this year? If so there are a list of things I need to tell you about to make your trip a bit smoother. Should I post that here or Email you?

Here's another question. Can you dance? If so you'd be a star over there.

Happy New Year to all y'all!!! Damn shame I'm going to be at home this time.

Anyway here's a toast.... May you continue to pitch a tent every morning this year.

Chosim Haseyo!!! (that's be safe in Han-gul)

Thanks for the info. I guess i will have to be pretty wasted in order to try that dish, but i will try anything at least once. Cheng Ho please feel free to e-mail me. I am still 50/50 between Angles and Bangkok. I am a pretty good dancer and have been taking salsa lessons over the last few months. The gym has been paying off. I have no problem finding dates here in the usa but have no interest in the feminists of this country. I have a new years date with a latin/itallian mix hottie but i can tell she wants to gets serious (relationship) and i am not ready. I almost got married a few years ago to a latin hottie here in the states, but she was kinda jacked up. All i am really interested in is traveling, experiencing different culters, food and Asian kittens..haha. I have to admit though TJ is a blast....no bullshit just pure sex...gives me a good chance to test out my new abs..no pain, no gain (LOL). Yes i am going over this year....where i dont know yet. most likely by myself since all my fiends are pussys. Chosim Haseyo!!
Thanks again CHEGO HO....and everyone else.

-Cheng i will be in TJ in February and would like to hangout at AB or CC with you...cool?
p.s. What do you guys think of asian massage parlors here in the states....can i get some preliminary warm-up action there???

Taxibob, sorry about that comment I made. I hope y'all didn't think I was trying to alienate anyone. My thoughts at the time were that my post on this subject will be rather lengthy and I wasn't sure anyone would want to read it. I'll try to get it on here later today or early Monday.

Salsa Boy, yeah it'd be cool to hang out once I get back in the area. I've yet to meet any of my brothers on this site.

Hey does anyone know how to say "Saehae pok mani paduseyo" in Spanish?

In Ingles that's Happy New Year.

Come to think of it how do you say that in whatever other languages you all may know?

Is it wise to go with the bombings going on there now? I had been planing on a trip in July but the problems with the President of the Philipines and the kidnapings, I moved my destination to Thailand. If you go, GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE.

Well, it hasn't even been a week yet since I've been back from Thailand and already I'm going through withdrawals. I'm looking for a new location closer to home (So Cal). Can anyone tell me if Thailand-like girlfriend experiences are available in the PIs? What are the costs for "long time" (in Thailand it's about 35 to 45 USD/night). Is it safe for one to go alone? How does PI compare to Costa Rica (haven't been there either, but want to try). Is summer a good time to visit. I'm fluent in Spanish does that really help? TIA.

Kind of off topic but... It had been years since I had a San Miguel beer until today.. Albertson's has a sale on so I picked up a 6 pack.. It's more delicious than I remembered..

Brings back memories of a few filipina girl friends from years ago.. I envy you guys who can get away to Asia for adventure.. For now, I'll just enjoy the San Miguel's and dream..

AG,
I like San Miguels, but I like the Red Horse's better. It seems like many of the locals drink Red Horses also. But, I don't think they import it here. Too bad!

I'll be in AC at the end of Aug. I'll have a cold one and think of you!

All the best!

The locals like Red Horse because it cheaper than San Miguel. When you get out in the provinces most of the stores carry WAY more Red Horse than San Miguel. Ever try the 10 piso orange rot-gut.

See my previous post under Manila massage. In Ermita, all the hotels can call this sevice. A nice woman in slacks and some uniform-looking top will be over just about the time you get out of the shower. A good massage, and she'll give you an hj is you ask her. Usually about a 200p tiip.

Oh, the hotel will bill you for about 560p ($11).

The USA has begun to move support troops into the southern Philippines to help the Filipino's root out the Al Qaeda supported guerrilla's. Retribution by the Muslim separatist's might include some sort of retribution against an area that has a heavy American concentration so go, have fun but be alert.

By Progman on Saturday, January 12, 2002 - 03:22 pm:  Edit

Woody,

That's good advise. During my New Years trip I noticed most of the hotels and other large gathering areas in Angeles City have already started bringing in more armed guards. Be very careful in Manila. This place is extremely dangerous anyway and you won't be able to distinguish Muslim from catholic Filipinos here... (prog)

By Marinero on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 - 01:21 am:  Edit

I've in Manila for a couple weeks now, and this is my fourth trip in 2 years. Manila is not at all dangerous if you practice cautious and no conversation with strangers. I have seen many tourists in Ermita area where I usually hang out. Also more patrol police on foot can be seen. I walked on the street at 2AM alone many times, and never have problems of any sort. As long as you follow you rules like you would in any major city aross the US, you'll be OK. Manila is a lovely city, and that's why we come all the way here.

By Xkansan on Monday, May 06, 2002 - 03:54 pm:  Edit

I'm with Marinero, only had one problem and I always stay in Ermita a few days. $30 nice rooms & lots of neat places: Rendevouz, many other "small bars", KTV places, LA Cafe, Nakpil Street clubs, big shopping malls, EDSA Complex, walking along Mabini Street day or night, walking along Manila Bay (daytime only!), strolling along with the college girls inside Intramuros, lots more! Regular women approach westerners, but so do lots of street touts.
I may go again in July/August. Wanna go?

Bandits Behead 2 in S. Philippines

By ZENY MASONG
Associated Press Writer
AP/Pat Roque [26K]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JOLO, Philippines (AP) — The heads of two Jehovah's Witnesses kidnapped in a Muslim extremist group's stronghold were found dumped in a public market Thursday in the southern Philippines. Four other members of the Christian sect remained captives.

The military and local police had blamed the al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf group for the Tuesday abductions, saying the nephew of a local Abu Sayyaf leader was among the armed kidnappers. But they backtracked Thursday, blaming a group of bandits headed by the nephew.

The incident, which bore all the hallmarks of an Abu Sayyaf attack, has been a huge embarrassment for the military and the government of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, who said just weeks ago that the Abu Sayyaf had been decimated and virtually defeated with the help of a six-month U.S. counterterrorism training exercise.

``Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, the sharks called Abu Sayyaf rear their ugly heads again,'' said the Manila Standard newspaper.

Brig. Gen. Romeo Tolentino, army commander on the southern island of Jolo in Sulu province, said the heads of the two male hostages were found in bags with notes denouncing them as ``infidels.''

The bags were left at food stands about 100 yards apart at the main market in the town of Jolo. The attached notes called for ``jihad'' or Islamic holy war, included a passage from the Quran and were written in Arabic and the local Tausug dialect, Tolentino said.

``They did this because they want to punish the nonbelievers of Allah,'' he said.

The two men, along with four women, were abducted Tuesday a few miles outside of the town of Jolo in Patikul district, an Abu Sayyaf stronghold.

The hostages had been selling Avon cosmetics, herbal teas and medical supplies on the predominantly Muslim island, police said.

Some Philippine newspapers described them as also being ``preachers'' who had been spreading their religion in Patikul, considered extremely dangerous for Christians. Authorities on Jolo island, about 600 miles south of Manila, could not confirm this.

For the second consecutive night, the army on Wednesday shelled suspected Jolo island hide-outs of the Abu Sayyaf, known for mass kidnappings of Filipinos and others, including Americans and Europeans. Some have been beheaded.

Early Thursday, the military issued a statement saying the Abu Sayyaf was responsible for the abductions and beheadings. But military Southern Commander Lt. Gen. Ernesto Carolina backtracked after a meeting of the local crisis management committee, saying two hitchhikers were responsible.

``This kidnapping ... was a chance incident, it was not planned,'' Carolina told DZBB radio. ``We want to correct the impression that there is trouble again in Sulu and that the Abu Sayyaf were responsible.''

On Thursday, hundreds of army reinforcements, including elite fighters who received counterterrorism training from U.S. troops this year, arrived in the town of Patikul from other villages on the island.

The Abu Sayyaf, notorious for kidnappings, has not staged any since the United States began supporting a Philippine military campaign to eradicate the group in February. The U.S. program ended officially three weeks ago, although a few Americans remain on Basilan island near Jolo.

Officials said the two dead were Lemuel Montulo, 21, and Leonel Mantic, whose age was not known.

Mantic's 23-year-old widow, Emily, was feared to be one of the surviving captives along with Cleofe Montulo, 46, Flora Montulo, 40, and Nori Bendijo, 41. One of the Montulo women was Lemuel Montulo's sister; the other was a sister-in-law.

Two local Muslims serving as their guides, including the driver, were left behind during the abduction, along with the vehicle and the Avon products and herbal teas that they had been selling.

The Abu Sayyaf has often kidnapped for ransom, but more frequently has abducted poor Filipinos, mostly Christians, to serve for weeks or months as slave labor. Kidnapped women are sometimes forced to marry guerrillas.

For six months beginning in February, about 1,200 U.S. troops trained and gave supplies and intelligence to Philippine troops hunting the Abu Sayyaf.

On May 27, 2001, Abu Sayyaf rebels raided a tourist resort and abducted three Americans and 17 Filipinos.

Days later, the gang beheaded American Guillermo Sobero from Corona, Calif. They also beheaded several Filipino hostages.

That kidnapping saga ended on June 7 when U.S.-trained and backed Philippine soldiers tracked down the rebels.

They rescued American missionary Gracia Burnham, but her husband Martin and Filipino nurse Ediborah Yap were killed in the raid.

A Filipino man, Roland Ullah, is still being held. He was taken from a tourist resort in Malaysia during another Abu Sayyaf mass kidnapping two years ago

JULY 18, 08:16 ET
Muslim Extremist Group Warns U.S.

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Abu Sayyaf terrorist group called on God to help it punish the United States for working with the Philippines government in its drive to wipe out the al-Qaida linked organization.

``Sooner or later, may Allah will it that you will get his punishments through us so that you may be tilted into your senses,'' Abu Sayyaf spokesman Abu Sulaiman said Thursday in a statement addressed to the U.S. government.

``The very things you hold dear in this world, your lives and your properties, are not safe from us. For what is dear to you, we gladly dedicate for the sake of our creator so that there may be true peace and justice in real sense in this world,'' said the statement, delivered in English on RMN radio.

It was the first public word from the group since a sea clash last month with U.S.-supported forces reportedly killed one of the group's leaders. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has ordered her military to wipe out the remainder of the group.

The president repeatedly has vowed to crush the Abu Sayyaf, which has staged mass kidnappings for ransom. Their most recent kidnapping spree stretched over a year and involved 102 hostages at various times, including an American missionary couple, Martin and Gracia Burnham of Wichita, Kan.

The Burnhams and Filipino nurse Ediborah Yap were the last hostages. A rescue attempt June 7 left Martin Burnham and Yap dead, along with four of the rebels. Gracia, shot through the thigh, was evacuated.

While Abu Sayyaf numbers have diminished, no one is writing off the heavily armed guerrillas, who have found fertile recruiting grounds in the country's poverty-stricken, Muslim-dominated south.

A six-month U.S. counterterrorism training exercise is scheduled to end July 31 on southern Basilan island, one of the Abu Sayyaf's strongholds. Washington and Manila are talking about further exercises, possibly in October on another island stronghold of the group.

Sulaiman vilified the long U.S. presence in the former American colony and accused American forces of ``kidnapping and killing innocent civilians'' and collaborating with the Philippine government to annex traditional Muslim areas.

I travel to the Philippines regularly. The Philippines women are lovely and friendly. I usually stay in Manila for a couple of days. I highly recommend LA Cafe in Ermita. There is always a live band and the bar is full of women, all looking for a man. No mamason, No bar fine.

Last trip I went to Sabang Beach, Puerto Gallera. It is a great bargain compared to Manila. Beers are $1, drinks for the girls are $3. The barfine is $8 and the girl is only $20. The first night there I hooked up with a beautiful girl named Sarah. The next night I took her cousin who worked in the same bar.

I was in the Philippines in Sept 2002.

Visited the EDSA Centre in Pasay city 3 times.
The girls varied in age from 18 to 30.
Bra Cup size from B to D.
Most have come to Manilla from the provinces.
They are small in every way.
All gave reasonable BBBJ however the sex was ordinary.
Most complained my dick was to big. Only managed to get half way in and I'm no Johnny Wadd.
I've been advised to go to Makati and pay more. The girls are mean't to be better and more used to western men.
I'll be there in March.

Minder, Do yourself a favor and give Angeles City a try. I had been to Manila several times and until I went to AC,I did not know the meaning of fun. There are many more girls to choose from and they generally cost about one third of a Manila girl. I have read that Manila girls are prettier, but I've been to both and I can't say they are. People say Manila girls are more sophishticated, I haven't seen sophistication in Manila or AC bars. I have been to Makati (Burgos St), but it pales in comparison to AC.Archie

Manila is the most God awful city in all of the Orient, but the Philippines is a great place for a holiday, especially because of their women. I go to Manila only because that's the destination of all international flights from America. But right after landing, I'll leave Manila and go to Angeles or Subic or Cebu ... any place but Manila.

Does anyone know where Bogarts Club is?

LA Cafe in Ermita is on what street/cross street?

I must say that the girls in Makati are the best looking but the price they want five times that of AC girls. You can find a few very good looking girls in AC if you look.

My first experience in a Makati bar was quite memorable, there in front of me were eight or so absolutely gorgeous, busty and long-haired Filipinas.

I plan to visit Manila/Makati in late May. I've been to AC number of times but never Manila. Any useful info for this Manila newbie would be greatly appreciated and reciprocated.

Cheers,

Burgos Street in Makati has expensive bars, EDSA Complex in Pasay City, near the airport, has the reasonably priced bars. Quality in Makati is very high, while in EDSA it's about the same as Angeles City, IMHO. Both places require you to bar a barfine to get her out of the bar and then you pay her a tip later, unlike in AC where it is all combined.

AC barfine is P1000 which includes the girl's tip. I've read EDSA barfine is 1000 plus 1000 - 2000 for tip. Makati barfine is from 1000 - 3000 and tipping is similar to EDSA girls. I'd appreciate current barfine and tipping rates.

AC is fun but the daytime activities are limited unless you like to hangout at the bars both day and night. I've read there's much daytime activities in Manila. I plan to spend few days in Manila and hit AC unless there's a good reason for me to stay in Manila.

Cheers,

Hey Nabi, I agree that "AC barfine is P1000 which includes the girl's tip". IMHO, if the girl is unextraordinary, at least give her trike fare home. If she went above and beyond the call of duty, trike fare plus maybe P200 might be in order. I would never send even the sorriest barfine home without trike fare. There is no reason to be a "kuripot", but you don't have to break the bank either. Just a little consideration for the girl is considered normal and is usually appreciated. Thanks.

Nabi,

There are several things you could do during the day. On my last trip we took chartered flights over Mt. Pinatubo. Also took day trips to Subic Bay. There are several big malls within a few minutes drive. There's golf, lawn bowling, go-carts. M-station is a blast during the day. Lot's of freelancers playing pool. I snagged a cutie for 100p on my last trip. Lastly, there are all the poolside gossip and war stories the guys talk about.

Daytime activities, sleep comes to mind. My last trip I had just about 5 hours down time in 6 days. I very wanted to do some things with locals there, but litteratly had no time. My very good buddy even mentioned sleeping by himself one night as a relief. He was there several weeks before me though.

ps
You could always spend your time wiping up the drama shit your so called friends give you.

Bud,

In regards to the drame shit - are you talking about the girls or other mongers?

Archie29621 - You are a gentleman. I used to tip the girls at least P500 regardless of their quality of services but I got flamed by my buddies. Now, we share similar tipping habits.

Progman - Thanks for the advise. I did try the chartered flight over Mt. Pinatubo and it was enjoyable. I wasn't aware of other activities mentioned.

Bigball - What's this drama shit?

Cheers,

I got texted by the gecko girls about my last report for using thier names. I'm sure one of the ac2 guys pointed it out. My report was way too long for a filipina to read it through unmotivated. Just so happens to be the girls I wanted to take to Boracay next month.

And there was the whole Shadows shit from the trip before last. Just an example, a girl was texting me wanting to see me. I told her I was too busy and would see her later. Well I went to my room from the pool bar and just as I put the key into the door I get this text "I know your in your room alone now". The back entrance to Shadows has a direct view of the alley between the pool bar and the Jasmine wing.
All this is no big deal, I'm just venting is all.

BTW, got me a Filipina gf here now. That will help cool my nads until next trip.

Bigballs,

You should be looking in your own backyard before you start accusing other mongers of ratting you out. I do recall a post you made on WSG where you had two girls with you while you were surfing the messages boards and making posts. Do you remember that? Did you honestly believe these girls wouldn't remember what you were looking at? I had to request that Jackson delete several old WSG posts because of what you did… I didn't want them to figure out who I was.
