I told you Angeles City was going to be a blast. The problem you'll have now is getting it out of your head. As Scooter would say: "The city will ruin you life"... Too bad we couldn't have spent a few more days there.

All in all, a safer area to hang out in and plenty of girls to choose from, mostly 90% GFE.

Main advantages: GFE & English speaking girls (for the most part). Women ages range from: 18 to 22 yrs. mostly, also "cherry" girls. Plenty of internet cafes. Quite good bars generally. Excellent Thai food at Margaritaville Station. No problems bringing ladies to the hotel.


Main disadvantages: TC's and ATM use are problematical, same goes for PP, though. Less to do in the cultural exploration dept. than Thailand or Cambodia. No Traditional Thai massage or body massage. No beach but quite good swimming pools. Cellular phones are used to constantly send text messages between the girls, which is annoying. Girls can latch on very quickly. Air pollution ok in bar area of AC but main Hi-way isn't ok. Sound pollution annoying at times.

Conclusion: That's a pretty darn good bang-4-the-buck price. $73/day.

No doubt, you can spend more on drinking and buying LD's for much more than what I quoted, but this was orginally a response to the daily expenses to a trip to Cambodia and was meant to show that the cost factor plus relative added safety factor of AC was a better deal. One of the main things I miss about AC is not being able to get my daily traditional Thai massage which I think is so wonderful, not only for the price but for how it makes me feel afterwards. In the end though, the GFE experience in AC is what makes it so worthwhile to go there.

FYI - In regards to travelers checks. You need the orriginal reciepts at most places to cash a TC.

Correct, your passport too, plus like 10 or more minutes to get your cash at a lower rate than if you had cash.

Personally, I have never been to BBK or Pattaya. I do know that Angeles City will run about $100/day pussy, food, lots of beer and room included. As far as I've been told it's the premier location for GFE and I have no reason to deny that!!

Prices are very comparable in the long run. The bigest difference is in Hotel expenses i.e. Orchid in @ $35.00 per night vs. $15.00 per night in Pattaya at say Eastiny Place.
Also food is cheaper in Thailand.

On the other hand drinks are generally more expensive in Thailand about $2.00 vs. the PI $1.00

Girls are also a bit les in the PI.
$20.00 BF long time in the PI.
And about $27.00 in Thailand 200B + 1000B (beer bar)
$34.00 for a GoGo 500B + 1000. Some guys pay more than that in Thailand but there is never a good reason to, if a girl won't except 1000B then she likely doesn't want to be with you anyway.

To me both places are very difforent envirements, there is typically more to do in Pattaya, yet Angeles is just plain fun.

Other big differences are Pattaya is a big tourist city with a good working infastructure where Angeles is very third world in general
and has a small town atmosphere.

The last 5 trips i have taken included both on my route I usually fly LA-BKK-MNL-LA.

I would say Pattaya is a bit less expensive overall but not by much.......

I concur with your general views, but must add that each hombre's flavor can only be known once the two locations have been tasted... words cannot do the chicas justice in any part of the world where they are worth discussion. I am recovering from a car accident now and plan on an Angeles City trip soon. I have been to Thailand twice in three months and have fond memories with which to compare, but I look forward to the benefits of the PI that Thailand cannot boast, namely, the lack of a language barrier and a closer GFE.

Fellow hombres, you must taste both to decide between them. Anything less is just a guess.

Maybe it's that I have a way with languages but I don't think so. Some basic Thai is not all that hard to learn and you will be surprised how much the girls (bar and non-bar) appreciate your effort in trying to learn their native tongue.

I have had several GFEs in Thailand, as a matter of fact one still calls me in the USA to this day four years after our encounter. (No, I am not sending her money) And another is trying to set me up with her friend (University educated non-bar girl).

The PI is a great place and I will be returning there in 15 days but for me the shopping, the food and the day time activities are not as good as in Bangkok. I can't stay in Angeles City for more than 4 days because I get bored. Manila is more interesting but my favorite place in the PI is Cebu. I like Cebu because there are some good resturants, decent shopping (but still not comparable to Bangkok), and good watersports.

But that's just my take on it.

This is topic is an ongoing one for me too. Yeah, AC can get a bit boring in a few days but the prices are good, girls are cute and the langauge barrier isn't like in Thailand. Cebu is fine but there is the additional cost of getting there, prices are higher than in AC. Bangkok is fine but it's rather difficult to form girlfriend relationship, but it's possible. Pattaya has an odd mixture of in-your-face adult fun and a nice relaxed atmosphere, with prices a bit lower than Bkk; about the same as Cebu and slightly more than Angeles City. All can be enjoyable destinations, all can be memorable trips and it's not easy to pick which is my favorite. I like traditional Thai massage so much it's a daily activity in Thailand for me, if only the PI had that too, then I'd possibly chose it exclusively. Now that I've done these four destinations more than a handful of times, I'm ready to venture out to Indonesia, Vietnam or India, btw, I've been to Cambodia twice. Cambodia, ST is very cheap and LT is the same as in AC, but it's a really poor country lacking in infrastructure. English is not generally understood there too.

Its been a long time since I was in Angeles in the Philippines but I have very happy, memories, despite the pot holes they call road, no pavements and the usual rif off merchants. The main drag in angeles is full of bars withe ladies waiting to be bar fined (an all inclusive price for the bar and the girl) and the hotels are geared up to accept your partner for the night. (at least the Hotel America was) The romm was large with a mirror above the king sized bed and and another at the foot of the bed. I believe that the establishments constantly change in nature, in ownership and girls. I found that there was great fun in visiting every establishment to see what there was on offer. Yes there were some not to attractive girls but the vast majority were in the 7 to 10 category. Their spoken english was of a very high standard

Everyone seems to be referring to barfines all the time. In BKK it's true you'd need to pay a barfine at a regular "go-go" place in Nana Plaza
or Soy Cowboy. But it was very easy to find girls in various bars wihout paying barfines. I rarely paid barfines in Thailand. better to give the money to the girls. Is it normal to usually pay barfines in Angeles City?

You can grab a girl on a "sneak out", but she can get fired for this if she's caught. Usually, I pay for P300 ($6) for a little soiree in my room off the bar clock. Oftentimes I just pay the darn barfine. It's so damn cheap anyways P1000 ($20), and that INCLUDES her cut, it's almost a shame to shop for it cheaper!!

If you don't want them long time you can hit Santos St. where you can get a ST session with a young thing for P500. If those girls do not appeal you can arrange the same at one of the perimeter bars for P100-200 more.

If you're going to be there a while it's easy to get girls to just "come over" for a while. You feed 'em, then fuck 'em!! After tip it ends up being about the same as a trip to Santos though...

The difference between Thailand and the Philippines is as follows: A barfine in Thailand covers what the bar would lose in revenue when the girl leaves it. You still have to negotiate with the girl for her tip. In the Philippines the barfine covers the bars' and girls' loss (girl's fee) in revenue. So in Thailand you pay a minimal amount for the barfine (200 Baht for beer bars and 400-600 Baht in a gogo bar). The girl's tip varies from girl to girl and whether she likes you or not. In the Philippines (AC and Subic) the barfine is 1000 pesos - that's it. If you want to tip the girl something later it's up to you but not mandatory.

Landed in the Philippines, Manila, in July of this year. I had made my pickup reservations with Margarita Station and as normal the driver was standing outside of the terminal with a sign held up with my name even though we were two hours late. Two hours later I was checking into the Orchard Inn. This hotel is the closest thing the Philippines has to American standard hotels,very clean and well run. cost at that time was $35.00 a day.Hotels can be had for as little as $15.00 with airconditioning but the Orchard is money well spent. I started my bar hopping that afternoon about 5pm. My tale was dragging after an 18 hour flight and I was looking for some serious liquid refreshment. Not very many of the dozens of bars are open at this time, but I found the Welcome Inn open accross the street from the best restauant in town(Kokomos). I walked into the Welcome Inn and sat down and looked up at about 30 dancing girls in skimpy outfits. I looked around and relized that I was the only patron in the place, things don't get rolling until after 7pm. At this time a lady, not young by Ageles standards, she was maybe 25, trim, nice non-enhanced tits, a perfect hourglass figure, and a pretty face, walks up to me. She was the only lady in the place that looked over 18 and not costumed (street clothes). She said my name is A (not her real name, they get upset in the Philippines, for some reason if they see there real name on a web sites, She stated you can come in my mouth and I have a fiend who will eat my pussy (their words for this is T-bird, (lesbian). After a very short conversation and one San Miguel beer (cost 40 pesos, exchange rate 50 peso to the dollar) and one ladys drink 90 pesos. I called over the Mamasan and payed the bar fine for A and her friend B. B looked 15 but her government ID (all of the girls have to have displayed govenment ID and be medicly inspected) said that she was 19. The bar fine was 1000 each, thats $20.00 American. Out we went and to the hotel. Went into the most intense GFE X's 2 that I have ever heard of. DATY all the way around. Bothe girls in cowgirls position and then the last thing I remember is the two of them in a 69 and I was out with fatigue. I woke up at about 7 am and we started all ove again until , yes I did come in a's mouth while B was going down on her. The girls left at this time and I tipped each of them 200 pesos (thats $4.00 American). They were very happy with the tip because they also got 1/2 of the 1000 pesa bar fine.

The 2nd night was spent on Santos street(world renowned) where things got even crazier and cheaper.BBBJ to completion as I was drinking my San Miguel beer at the bar cost 400 Pesos. I could go on and on but to put it simply in 21 days I did 17 very pretty girls(not counting the BBBJ's bar side) at an average price between bar fine and tip of $25.00 each.

I recently made my third, and I think my last, trip to Thailand. If I'd never been to the Philippines, I probably would think Thailand was heaven. I gave it fair chance but IMHO, it pales in comparison to PI. You can talk about how the infrastructure is better, the hotels are cheaper and there is more touristy things to do, but I go there for the women, who happen to be mechanical in bed, money hungry, and hard to communicate with. Also, in alot of the Thailand posts, mongers recommend all kinds of lubes for the girls. That is because they don't get turned on! In the PI, you better have extra towels on hand!

I'm thinking a little less warmth from the girls may be a good thing for me. I'm finding if I barfine from a particular bar then return the girl expects barfined again. I had one from my last trip run to the back crying because I bought another girl a lady drink. Went to Shadows, could have heard a pin drop. The feelings become mutual as well. I'm going for my first Thailand trip in either May or August and see for myself.

The PI girls can get real attached real fast. It can be good and bad, but with 50+ bars to choose from, it should not be to hard to avoid a few if need be. You will find that Thai girls are reluctant most of the time to go L/T and there is little emotion in the bedroom. I gave it three tries, thinking that maybe I was just having bad luck, but you'll be lucky if you get a GFE. I met a monger, who had been to BKK before, and he came to Pattaya with us and left after a few days because he thought the girls were losers! I think he's done with Thailand also. I let him know he needs to check put the PI, but he's having fun in Rio!

PI is fun. You can talk to the girls and the ladies are cheaper. If you want pussy at bargain basement prices then PI is the place to visit. Also, everything except hotels are cheaper in the PI. Women are very friendly as a rule - shy, but enthusiastic in the bed.

PI is a third world country. Fun to be in the shower with soap on your face and shampoo in your hair and have the power go out!! The CRs in the Jazmine wing get DARK when the lights go out!! Many streets you walk down are unpaved or in serious disrepair. When you walk down the street you get hit with smells that will make your lunch from yesterday come back up from your colon and out your mouth. Lots of cherry girls and "barhop only" girls.

Thailand is fun. The girls are aggressive, dance like PURE SEX and LOVE to fuck with the lights on!! Also, GREAT BJ's!!!! Public transportation is FAR more reliable and the city streets are well maintained. MUCH better rooms for a lot less money. Bangkok has these wonderful "clusters" of entertainment (some shopping mall-like a la NEP) while Pattaya is one giant city devoted to pussy (perhaps 2-3000 beer bars and 2-500 go-gos). You can barfine three girls from different bars every day of the year and not go back to the same place for YEARS!!!! The food in Thailand is nothing short of INCREDIBLE!!

In Thailand the girls are just doing their job. Yeah, some act like they are in love, but the girls in the PI are better at the "illusion of love". The women can be mercenary and, especially in BKK, FAR more expensive then PI. Thailand is hotter temp-wise. If you do not like to sweat then Thailand should not be your first stop. BKK was MUCH hotter then the PI. Many toilets in Thailand will charge a small fee for you to use it. Also, the free ones tend to be NASTY and do not have paper!! Imagine a porcelain bedpan attached to the floor that flushes... Bring TP and handtowels unless you like to air dry your hands AND your ass. You will spend FAR MORE MONEY IN THAILAND per day compared to the PI.

Personally, I find Thailand to be a refreshing change from the bula of the PI. I get less drama and greater selection. What's not to love!! I can see where my next trip will include more time in Thailand, but I'll still make the trek to the Orchid Inn for a least a week!!

I end up spending about double what I spend in AC every day in BKK. If you go you will BLEED MONEY!! Be careful. Also, unsure about my dates and what I will be doing while I'm there. If you're in LOS when I am we may not even see each other!! Can't give you the big intro tour as others have in the past.

I need to get back to AC again. I've always had an excellent time in BKK and Pattaya, I find the comments describing Thailand girls as professional mindboggling. From my personal experience, I didn't notice a significant difference in quality except for one problem in AC where I ended up barfining a cherry girl that didn't tell me until we were in the room, then refused to leave.

Everyone knows how much I love the Philippines but I have to say Thailand offers EVERYTHING the Philippines offers. My last trip to LoS was awesome. Archie was there with me. I hooked up with only two girls - one in Pattaya and the other in BKK. I basically only had to pay the bar share (barfine). Will this happen every time? No, but when it does - WOW!!

The difference is YMMV can really apply in Thailand. If a girl likes you in Thailand the experience is far better than the Philippines. In the PI MANY girls offer great GFE as a norm. The fact is that most of the time it is just bullshit (bola-bola).

Prog, I've been to quite a number of night life scenes in the PI already and I still think it's hard to beat Angeles but each of us may be looking for something new or different so it depends. In Cebu, it's too spread out and it's similar to EDSA prices. EDSA Complex in Pasay City is okay but prices are higher than in AC and quality is only slightly better. Makati has the best looking girls but, OMG, they want 5000P for the night as a tip, which is too much. Also, checked out Subic City and wasn't impressed but that should be the Pattaya of the PI if they could get their act together.

IMHO, it's the Thais that do the "I love you" act much more than the Filipinas. Thais are just too business oriented now compared to ten years before when "up to you" really meant something. At least in AC, you pay up front and it's all out of the way, additionally the barfine payment to the bar and her, unlike in all of Thailand and the rest of the PI.

This trip had a gal spend three days with me free only because her friend was my former barfine more than a year ago. This girl normally works at the Thi-Hi Bar but she just decided not to show up at work when I was in AC not that I requested that or prompted her to do that at all. She was class A too! Hair to hips, slender, tallish at 5'6", 18 yrs. No pics unfortunately. Go to the bar, you'll spot her. What did I have to do? I chatted her online once in a awhile for a year.

I've been to Thailand five times (BKK, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai) and have had always the best of experiences. That is probably why I have been back there five times in a little more than a year! But this July, I will be in AC for the first time and I just wanted your opinion on a couple of things ..

I will be staying at the Orchid Hotel in a Double Superior Room in the Jasmine Wing for $45USD/night. They will pick me up at the airport by car for 1600P. Does that sound about right?

Also, I've noticed that the subject of AC on this discussion thread has disappeared since Progman's last entry of March, 03. Can you folks suggest any absolutes that I should not miss but experience while in AC? And do you have any suggestions upon activities during the day? I would love to hear from you folks. I am having withdrawal symptoms from the PI... think I will return in September for a longer taste. In previous trips to Thailand, PI was a side trip. No more. Now, PI is the trip and Thailand is the side trip. I concur with other writers that the chicas in Thailand are just too cold anymore and they are the same price, if not more expensive, than AC chicas.

I had to choose one country for my weeks away from reality in the feminist West. One element of my decision for primary vacation destination was the GFE in the PI. Granted, there are spots on the planet where the GFE is more intense, but for the $, I have come across no better deal than the PI.

The REAL clincher, though, is the benefit of being able to actually TALK to my chica. Memorizing phrases in a foreign language is fine to get along with people, but I wanted a GFE including actual CONVERSATIONS! The PI offers this, where Thailand does not.

I think three weeks would make AC old for some people, but I am there for the women, and they have a way of changing your focus, at least temporarily. The movie theaters and restaurants are all I need between sessions. Guess I'm just easy to please... except for poor performers/attitudes. Those get booted with no tip and no second.

Hell, if we get bored, we can watch movies on cable or on my laptop.

Oh... I almost forgot... buy some dresses before you pick up your first chica. Hide them. Give them in addition to a tip when you send them on their way. They will remember you with a better memory than a larger tip. Worked for me... got me a free second night and a GFE over the next week that simply cannot be duplicated anywhere in the West (unless the girl has never seen TV, listened to radio or has been on the farm all her life).

Jeez, I didn't even know you were GOING to the PI! Please do tell about your experiences there. I am in PPD (Post Philippines Depression) pretty damned bad right now myself. And I agree, the GFE in Angeles cannot be beat.

Sorry, I am waaay behind in reporting. Suffice to say that I work much harder now knowing I will actually ENJOY my vacations with someone other than a Western feminist pig, and this future thinking curtails my activities state-side.

BS aside, I really havent written much on the PI as yet. My trip there next week should net some video and pics. It better, I just spent a load on this damned camera.

I haven't seen much feedback regarding the AC scene since August (i.e. the crackdown and arrest of Richard Agnew). I have a room booked at Orchid for early Oct., but am considering switching my itinerary and head for LoS for fear of a deteriorating situation. Any commentary/thoughts/analysis about your recent experiences would be much appreciated. Also, has the quality of service at Richard's other facilities been adversely affected?
