They have a live Filipino Band and DJ. It would be very hard to miss this place with the big neon sign they have.



But just in case you do miss it, here are the directions. From the corner of Fenwick Road and Jaffe Road you can just walk east along Jaffe. Neptune II is two buildings down from the intersection of Jaffe and Luard Road and is on the south side of Jaffe Road. If you get to Obrien Road you have gone too far.

I entered and went downstairs. Every time I went to a disco in Wan Chai, I saw a sign mentioning something about a cover charge or entry fee or membership fee, but I never paid one and was always waved in by the bouncers.

Before I could even take a lap around the place, I spotted a cute lady sitting with a group of friends. I smiled at her, she smiled at me, I offered a drink and she was soon sitting next to me. This Thai chick was 22 and was front Korat. She was a beautiful, beautiful lady. We chatted for a while and she then opened up the bidding at $2000 HKD or $256 US. I counter with $500 or $64 US. She countered with $1000 or $128 US. I said my goodbyes and moved on.

This place was packed full of ladies. It was a nice selection. As I was making my lap around the place an older Thai lady grabbed me and we started chatting. She was fun, but a bit older and heavier than I like. She originally told me she was 26, but later copped to being 28. She said she was from Chonburi. I asked if she had worked in Pattaya and she actually admitted to working in a beer bar on Soi 8. I probably would have taken her if the price was right, but it wasn’t. I asked her how much and she took off to go ask her friend. She came back with the standard $1000. I guess she had only been in town for two days so far. I could have countered, but after she admitted to being a former beer bar girl, I could not imagine even paying $500 ($64 US) for pussy that normally goes for $25 US.

She wandered off to talk with her friends some more and then I started talking to this beautiful Filipina that was sitting next to me. She said she was from a city outside Manila, but I didn’t recognize the name of it. She was part Filipina, Spanish, and Arab and had these mesmerizing and gorgeous brown eyes. Her light brown skin and glistening long dark hair had me completely spellbound. I never talked price with her though. We just hung out and chatted a bit. Her sister was making out with another white guy on the dance floor while she just kind of watched. I probably should not have let her leave with her sister and sister’s boyfriend when they took off, but I did.

Ah well. Pattaya girl came back and chatted with me later on in the evening, but I was getting ready to leave and as well and called it a night.

That was kind of my plan for the Wan Chai clubs anyway. I didn’t want to go to them thinking I needed to get in another session for the night. I knew if I did, I would end up paying too much. Since I had already done four sessions this day, it didn’t really matter if I hooked up in the late evening or not. I was just looking to hookup up cheaply and that opportunity never arose. But maybe it would later on in the trip.

I ranked Neptune II as #2 on my list of visited Wan Chai bars. It may have done better if they didn't try to charge me 300 HKD ($39 USD) the second night I wanted to come in. They let me in the first night for 100 HKD ($13 USD)

The selection was nice, but the place was a bit crowded and a little difficult to walk around.

I found a hot Thai girl here that opened at 2000 HKD ($260 USD) but was fine with 1000 HKD ($130 USD). I bought her a drink that was reasonably priced before taking her back to my hotel.

There are some ladyboys that hang on the corner near Neptune, but they are pretty easy to identify as such.

This is a good place for 100 HKD, but I doubt I'd ever go in for 300 HKD, especially when you can't preview the talent.

i'm not sure but i may know the deal with the entry charge at neptune II. a recent report from another guy mentioned it and i see it mentioned here too (although back in 05). i've never been charged anything to enter and i've been to neptune II at least every year for the last ten years.

i saw some middle eastern looking guys and heard the bouncer guy say it was 300hkd to get in. i was on my way out. so i think it might be a racial thing.

the talent pool in neptune looked real weak. the girls are generally the same one's that work escape, they hang at one then hit the other, maybe go back to the previous spot etc...

but i didn't see any real cute girls. maybe i've spent to much time in the bkk go go's. but i was just there a couple weeks ago and thought the talent looked a little weak (shark bar talent didn't look so good, didn't make it to nana). maybe i've become even more picky than i was before. i'm borderline pathetic. just over two weeks in HK and no ladies. just hanging with friends.

I think the cover charge is for any person that is non-white and non-Western. It seems the Wan Chai places cater to white-Western businessmen in Hong Kong and anyone else is subject to the cover.

It all evens out in the end though. In Thailand, my Asian buddy got a discount at the high end massage parlors and I had to pay extra for being white. At the time, I coined this a "White Guy Surcharge."
