Laguna is easy to find. The building itself is located on the southwest corner of Fenwick and Jaffe road. The entrance to go upstairs to the club is actually on the west side of Fenwick Road between Jaffe and Lockhart.

I made my way upstairs and grabbed a Carlsburg draught. There was a bar straight ahead upon entering and then a dance floor directly to the left of the bar. Past the dance floor the bar extended into a large back area with stools and tables. I took a stroll over to the dance floor to check out the action. From what I understand, Laguna is mainly an Indonesian hangout place. But I struck up a conversation with another Filipina. This lady was my age and had been working in Hong Kong for 9 years as a maid/domestic helper. Sweet! My first maid. She said she was taking care of two little monsters for a wealthy Chinese couple.

We chatted a bit, but this lady was not that attractive. During the course of our conversation, she mentioned that her sister and her sister’s boyfriend were heading over to New Makati and that she was going to go with them. She invited me to come along. I decided to go, mainly because I wanted to check out New Makati as well.

I got charged 200 HKD ($26) cover here which was 200 HKD too much for a large club with a very small number of girls on what should have been a prime weekend night.

I saw one girl here that I kinda wished I would have propositioned after seeing her nice legs in an iCafe, but that was it.

Forget this place if they try to charge you more than the cost of a beer to get in.

I tucked in my shirt, flashed my copy of my US passport as I swiftly walked in with confidence, and got in without a cover. My friend who was behind me, lazily headed in, and was asked to pay a 200hkd cover.

I did the same as other clubs and got in for free, even regular clubs.

btw, this place was packed with a small number of punters. The ratio was about 5 to 1 and the girls were average with some gems here and there but nothing to write home about. Most all the girls were filipinas, with some plain looking indos as well.

i was in laguna a couple times late last year. one of my HK friends has a regular gal there. but she seems to be the only good looking girl in there.
