Hard to believe I had to start a new thread for Lucifer's, it is the hottest disco now, packed every night while Marine is empty. Last night the police closed it at 11PM, no idea why. I was eating across the street when the cops came, everybody left, and they bolted the door.

Guess they forgot to pay their bribes.

Where is Lucifer's located?

Walking street about halfway between where Beach Road curves towards 2nd Road and Electric Blue. Big electric sign over the entrance, can't miss it. Right across from the PN 72 Hotel and Restaurant which is a great place to eat and watch the talent go in to see if one strikes your fancy. From Second Road, walk down the alley where you see the White Rose - Top Thai hotel signs.

I checked out this place last night and took my chick from Happy there. I guess the whole "devil" theme is apparent as the inside is made up like a cave, I guess to signify being in "hell." But believe me, hell is the last place you feel like being there.

They have a front area that seems more laid back and relxed and I think they have a live band out there occasionally. A tunnel leads a larger back area where the disco itself it located. It is a pretty hot club. Hot in that the place is always jumping and hot in that it just fucking hot in there. (I guess keeping with the "hell" theme.)

Tables take up most of the space inside and the dance floor space seems somewhat limited. They also have an elevated dance floor. It is pretty cool, worth checking out. They play hip hop mostly.

Anyone been here lately and can tell me the level of freelance action here and how much they paid?

This is quite an impressive place, in the later hours of the evening (the early hours it's usually rather dead, but after 11pm it starts to fill to capacity). There are bouncers at the door that require an ID for everyone to enter (though tourists never seem to be checked; only local girls) to ensure everyone within is at LEAST 20 years or older; which provides a little sense of security for men if they are looking to pick up someone of legal age here. -- It has two sections, actually, with the front having an open bar, with a live band, that doesn't do too poorly in providing classic rock music. There are always several young ladies hanging about, freelancers for the most, who are usually quite open to your advances; be it just to buy them a drink or chit-chat, as well as see if they're open for buisness.
Beyond the front section is a small underground passageway that leads to "the cave", I like to call it, which is a huge disco area, again with a live band that plays popular house/techno/dance music (stunning lead singer I might add); complete with large video screens of dancers about the place, light show and full assortment of helpful waitresses. This is the MAIN area of Lucifer, and here is where the majority of the action is to be found. This is also known as Freelancer Central, as the bulk majority of all of Pattaya's best looking freelancers do their business here. And, to be honest, there are countless absolute stunning women to be found here. They are seemingly everywhere, and anyone (and I mean anyone) who enters this bar will immediately be approached or at least winked and waved at from across the room from gorgeous ladies. (Again, most of whom are ALL open for buisness...) -- The drinks here are a little expensive, compared to other bars/discos in Pattaya, but the eye-candy makes it all well worth it. If you'd like to be wise, once you enter and hook up with a lady, have her order your drinks as you're away from the table. Then you get the "local price", which is almost half-price! -- If you're really drunk, I don't recommend going to the MAIN area of Lucifer, as the light show and pounding music, and large crowds, can become a bit overwhelming to someone too much under the influence. However, if you're feeling great, and ready for a super time with gorgeous ladies, this IS the place to be in Pattaya after 11pm. Even if you barfine a lady from another bar, but feel like taking her out for a night on the town and you ask her where she wants to go, 9 girls out of 10 will cheerfully exclaime "LUCIFER!!"...

If you're "really drunk" I do not recommend you go there at all !
The katoeys are very attuned to the overly drunk monger and will move in quickly as they know full well they are less likley to be spotted by a drunk dude. Lucifers may have fewer katoeys than Marine but they are still plentiful. You gotta keep your wits about you when you are dealing with freelancers. Regular bargirls will take care of you and not rip you off but freelancers can and sometimes do rob you blind before you sober up.
Agree that Lucifers has definitely taken the torch away from Tony's Disco for freelancers .

How about Electric Blue Disco - it opened after I left - did you or anyone else get a chance to sample the talent there ??

Jeez, if those hours start at 11 PM, then that doesn't leave a whole lot of time before the lights came on at 1:15 when I was there a month ago. And the entire place seemed like a dumbed down (and smaller) version of Planet Disco from Batam Indonesia, which is a dumbed down version of Pacific disco in Batam. If this is somehow the 'be all and end all' Asian disco, it's just another example why Thailand doesn't rate.

This is Pattaya not BKK. Hollywood disco and Nasa disco among many others in BKK blows away Lucifers. Even back in Pattaya -- Hollywood disco and Exxyte disco are both far better than Lucifers.

Pick Up disco in AC ?? Is there any disco in AC to even come close to Lucifers? Does that mean that AC doesn't rate ?

OK....time for me to step in.

No disco compares to those INDO discos! Period. Hell, I consider Pacific disco the 10 wonder of the world. Nothing in LoS and AC would be qualified to be the bathroom in Pacific.

Lucifers kinda sucks also-- agreed. BUT, I would rather be at any disco in LoS than compared to Pickup disco in AC.

Any place with 1 AM closing times has got serious problems on the mongering destination front. Pick Up Disco can't compare to even the Thai discos if you're looking at paying for a date that night, but I would prefer taking a date I already had acquired to that place than any place I've seen in Batam (well, unless it's Bakla dancer night!). I don't know enough about Thailand to comment on non-mongering entertainment venues.

Discos in LoS are open well past 1AM. Sure you have to deal with them cutting the power once in a while, but that adds to the ambience.

Yes, maybe my watch was off and I only THOUGHT it was 1:15 AM when the lights came on and they shuttled us off to the exit... Or maybe 1:15 is 'well' past 1 AM?

I think Angels in BKK may be staying open all the way until TWO these days! YEE HAW!

I let my BF show me the way and stay away from tourist traps. The discos I'm going to are open all till the wee hours.

I recently stayed in Lucifers until 4:30 AM and the place was still rocking. They go through the motions of closing the place down at 1 PM in the front, but they let the disco rock in the back. This is the place to go if you want to dance with hot chicks. Most of the girls here are after hour bar girls who are looking for a hook up. I met one that was actually buying me drinks. Highly recommended.

You can always get a late drink in Pattaya, you just have to know the venues and itinerary. I went to Marine Disco recently and relived some old memories, as I first visited Marine Disco in 1988. It's still "rough 'n' ready" and I love it for that! Call me old fashioned but I don't like discos that are too clinically immaculate, gimme down and dirty any day!

Bar fined two gals from Peppermint the other night and one of them wanted to go to Lucifers disco. Don't let what you see from the street fool you into thing this place is lame - it's not until you go through the "tunnel" to the back part that you get to the real party. On a jaunt to the restroom I also had at least two gals try to call me over just walking back to my seat. Apparently the freelance action is still alive and well here.

There has not been anything recently posted here about Lucifers so I will give it a go. I was in Pattaya in February of this year and this was the place for me. I spent two fabulous evenings with the same bar girl. We had an awsome time drinking and dancing to the live band. This place goes off and the band is not half bad. From my recollection it was open very late. I think the fact that both my BG and I had such a great time together, it made the sex that much better. She really showed her appreciation for the good time that we had. The last morning with her, I remember waking up to an incredible BJ.

I will back-up Lamalavida. We just got back from 2 weeks of bliss there. Lucifers is the place to go.Most go-go and bargirls end up there anyway and quote cheaper prices. They start rolling in about 10.30pm.We managed to pull most of our girls from there,even drinking at the beer bars earlier we simply said meet you at lucifers and they turn up. Its best if you sit at the front entrance and watch them turn up under a bit of light.Pick one and then go hunt for her,if she does;nt get you first. Trying to find one out the back in the dark is crazy because they all look better with no lights and beer gogles. We learned early because the next morning i had to chew my arm off. So sit by the entrance and stalk.

Oh, Lucifers. I will be spending my late night at this spot when I hit up Pattaya in a few weeks.
