I like smaller more cozy bars-- always have. I don't like the mega bar concept and the idea all the sheep are herded there. I will reward the niche bars if possible.

I stumbled into this bar last week - since I can't remember the bars by name, I forgot that Dave's new job is that the Nana bar that gets the most traffic. Angel Witch is known for having the best show at Nana, and as such, is generally jammed.

Spent a good amount of time here this weekend and it is a fun bar to kick back and take in some entertaining stage shows. Very akin to LDS in pattaya, some of the feature dancers use the exact song/dance as LDS...

Several hotties here, but the place small, so if you want a decent seat, be prepared to arrive a little early.

ANGEL WITCH was the first bar (over 3 years ago) to start the fantasy shows, and then bars like LDS copied the A-W Shows. Angel Witch just keep evolving by developing new show concepts with a highly skilled choreography team. BTW the owner Khun Pim is the main brain behind the A-W shows. A-W is bigger and better than before with the new renovations (Hotel standard rest rooms, and additional seating/tables) is almost completed. Swing by and DTR will be happy to have you as our guests!

Don Marco, thanks for the compliment about the Angel Witch girls. There has been a very big improvement in both the amount of very attractive BG's and the remodelling of the bar. Angel Witch stands head and shoulders above all the bars in BKK in terms of being the best Show Bar. It's the best "farang" go-go bar in BKK and has been for some time now (Angel Witch have the awards to prove it!). Rainbow have cornered the Asian market, so there is no comparison in that respect.

I arrived just before closing time last night and there were half a dozen girls on stage that I would have taken. One caught me looking at her, came over and sat down--mamasan assured me she had good reviews. Now there's one more GOOD review.

Miss Wei was well worth staying with IMO and like DM you had a great time with a BG you related to well. I think some of the Rainbow bars have an awesome line-up of BG's, and it's great to hear that you guys rate A-W so highly. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the shows in A-W are the best I've seen in 17+ years in all of LOS. BTW you and DM were right to stick with your girls; why look a gift horse in the mouth?

There's absolutely no question that the shows at Angel Witch are in a class by themselves. A fair few Nana bars are now putting on minor league shows. They don't compare. Long Gun in Cowboy puts on decent shows but, frankly, they don't compare favorably with yours. In Pattaya, there's an upstairs bar, I want to say that it's the Polo Entertainment Complex, but I'm not entirely sure, that puts on good shows as well. That's your only competition, and you have them beat, easily. On top of which, the bulk of their business is from Asian tour groups, which often arrive on a bus. It's not unusual to see two or more tables of Korean women nursing beers or Cokes and looking at the stage shows in a mixed state of shock and awe. Diamond A-GoGo in Pattaya also has shows, featuring (at times) extremely attractive showgirls, but the shows, themselves, are nothing compared to those on offer at Angel Witch. As a local, I don't get too excited about shows. I've seen 'em all, before. That being said, they're good for business. And, in your defense, Angel Witch does come up with enough new shows that most everytime I stop in, I see something new. And, in peripheral news, your new bathrooms would not be out of place on Soi 33...easily the best cans in the plaza. Give me a buzz, soon, I have a bit of breaking news.

Hi Mano, thanks for your input and observations. Regarding the Pattaya Shows if you were to stop the nudity those bars would be all but out of business. I praise the owners of A-W so much because they have no nudity to work with. Even after making the place bigger A-W is still packed at showtime.

Made the pilgrammage to Angel Witch last night to pay my respects to Dave, as I must be the only person left on this board who hadn't met him. Great guy and we chatted a while as the showgirls were rehearsing their new "fuck you" routine. Also got to meet Blumpy, who popped in as well. Another great guy. Also met Blumpy's buddy, but I can't remember his handle now.

I noticed a very hot spinner on the stage (yeah, I know, when do I not notice hot spinners....) and asked Dave about her. He calls her Minnie Mouse, and said she could be hit or miss, depending on her mood. He also said she liked tall guys, so I did have that going for me. Dave talked to her a bit for me and came back to say that she seemed to be in a pretty good mood, so I had her come over and bought the LD, with Blumpy sitting to my right.

I almost didn't fine her. For one, she can only do ST at the moment, as the parents are staying with her for the time being. The other red flag was that she brought up price. As DTR says, she can be very professional. But she felt good, so I rolled the dice to see what I'd get.

Wow. Despite the fact that she wouldn't DFK, the girl fucked me through the mattress, if I may borrow an Epi-ism. She put me through a full-on sweaty fuckfest and had me gasping for air. Two pops later, I collapsed onto her, utterly drained. Jeezus. That was good stuff.

Her name is Aon, an 18 year old from Udon Thani. She said she has been at AW about four months, but was one of the service girls for a bit before becoming a dancer two months ago. We negotiated 1500 for the ST session. Many thanks to DTR for scoping her out for me.

Hi Guys, thanks for all the compliments, but I cannot take much credit for the superb Shows in Angelwitch. They are mostly down to the two owners Matt and Pim, and as Mano says their shows are in a class of their own. I've never seen two LOS bar owners that work as hard to maintain their excellent high standards. The owner Pim, puts the Showgirls through stringent training routines which can last for hours. Many bar owners are too dumb and too lazy to put the effort in to be honest. No wonder Angelwitch stands head and shoulders above every Show bar. I arrive in the bar to start my shift at 7pm and the Showgirls have probably put in three hours practise already. BTW I have assisted by suggesting new show concepts and supplying show music to broaden the selection. Showtime in Angelwitch is 10pm until 12.30am. Both men and women enjoy the shows, so you can bring your BG along too!

Dave, I was watching True Lies and Jamie Lee Curtis's dance performance (when she thinks Arnold is some french guy) rocks. Take a look, it might be a great routine for AW.

Dave is killing me. I had every intention of going to Rainbow 4 again last night, as instructed after 9. So I dropped in on Angelwitch at about 7 to chat with Dave, since I haven't had time since my first night here.

So as we're chatting, this little uber hottie of a spinner walks in. Dave says "Oh, you never met Nam the other night. I've got to introduce you." He waved her over and she seemed to take a liking to me. I was smitten and am suddenly mentally recalculating my plans for the night. She went off to change, then came back to me to chat for a bit and snuggle up. Well that did it. Sold! She went to up to dance and said she'd come back. So Dave and I sat there and watched her shake that little body while I simply drooled. The service girls were having to wipe up my seat, the poor things.

After finishing her dance shift and making me completely hard just watching her, she came back and bounced into my lap. At this point Dave said, "Um, I'll just leave you too alone and go do something else over there...." Pecks on the cheek, sweet nothings whispered in the ear, and the bar fine flew out of my pocket at light speed.

Dave was sitting with me when she came back from changing. HIS eyes popped out when he saw what she was wearing. Holy shit, I think I came right there. She had on a slinky bikini top for a shirt and tight pants.

Replete with shit-eating grin on my face, Nam and I bid a tearful Dave adieu and headed out into the swirl of light and activity otherwise known as Nana Plaza. I kid you not, this girl was turning heads. All the way to Foodland to buy her ice cream (gents, take note: she loves ice cream), and then all the way to my hotel, guy's heads were turning. One Thai guy crossing Soi 5 behind us said "oh you lucky guy." Another street vendor farther down Sukhumvit looked at her, tapped me on the shoulder and gave me a thumb's up. I was cracking up just watching these guy's heads turn. Yes, she looked that good.

The ice cream served as a great foreplay opportunity. Then she let me take some pics before I peeled her clothing off. After a comical episode in the shower, where the shower broke just as I had that tight little spinner body all soaped up, we got down to business. Needless to say, she did not disappoint. Had an awesome time with her. Unfortunately she couldn't do long time last night because of an early morning class today, so I settled for a fantastic short time session. Got her number; we'll be repeating LT in the future.

I must say, Angel Witch has a great party atmosphere during and after the shows. I was in there late Sunday, staying until closing. After the shows finished, the dj started spinning Isaan music and just about every girl in the place jumped up and started dancing, many onto the stage in their street clothes. I really enjoyed chatting with Dave and the mamasan, eyeballing the eyecandy (I was done for the day and had no intention of barfining anyone), and just soaking in the festivities. Really had a great time.

Murasaki, great to see you having a lot of fun in A-W. I noticed Khun Leigh was singing to the Thai songs, we all had a great time. The party still rocks in the BKK bars despite what some killjoys think! The Isaan dance music really gets a party atmosphere going and the BG's love it. A refreshing change to techno trash!

Murasaki, I definetly agree + there are more spinners here than anywhere else at prime time.

On the negative side, the mamasans outnumber the spinners and they are a little pushy on the drinks.

Don Marco, this has been a big problem in Patpong and now it has emerged in Nana Plaza bars too. The A-W Boss is well aware of the Mamasans pushing for drinks. I advise my friends that Mamasan Nic is the best to deal with and just politely but directly tell them "NO" or state that you are busy taking care of a dancer. With a lot of commission cash at stake (40 baht per lady drink) they obviously try to boost their income. BTW sitting or chatting with me often keeps the sharks at bay. Don't worry I won't try to chat you up for a lady drink!

Don Marco, these Mamasans can be a pain in the ass, but as a humble manager I have only so much power. I can't watch everybodies back but you know I try my best to not allow any nonsense with my friends. Customers have told my Boss that at times I do a better job as "Papasan" than all of the Mamasans put together!

dear dave, i am sorta a cherry boy to bkk. i was stationed their for 2 years in the early 70's. so 30+ years later, i will return on the 11th of jan. booked a room in the dynasty and will stay for a few days before heading to the pi and return back to bkk. any advice for a psuedo cherry. remember a lot of thai words and such. would love to meet nam from aw or any other bg you might recommend for a nite of totally unforgettable delite and get a great massage from one of the mp you might guide me to. would appreciate any advise given. i am asian/hawaiian so any hassles with the girls about this? i know many farangs will try to talk their pidgin thai to me but that's life...thanks..g

If anything, being Asian will likely be seen as a plus by many of the girls. Just make sure they don't try to charge you "Japanese" prices. Be warned that a (relatively dark-skinned) Japanese friend of mine was almost refused entrance to a Pattaya go-go, as they allowed no Thai males, inside. I don't think that this is the policy in very many NaNa bars, but just to be on the safe side, carrying your passport with you isn't a bad idea. My friend was promptly admitted when he showed his Japanese passport.

Hi Gotsu, you could be checked for being a Thai but just say, "I'm from America" I doubt if it will be taken much further. Your USA driving license or a photocopy of your passport should get you past even the most idiotic doorman! (Don't carry your passport around!). A driving license is a great form of ID to carry instead. Just come into Angelwitch between 7.30pm and 10.00pm and I will have lots of time to talk to you. Don't worry you will be taken care of...

I must say that Angelwitch is one of the smaller bars, so it is easier to create an atmosphere. I can never understand these guys that build HUGE bars and never think about having to fill them! Only the top Rainbow bars have anywhere near the volume of customers that Angelwitch do. Being the top Show Bar in LOS they have cornered their market. So many go-go bars lack a real concept and this is the problem...

I don't know about "Asia", either. But I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the AngelWitch shows are without peer in Thailand. Your closest competition is Polo Entertainment on Walking Street and you still have them beat, handily. Now that AngelWitch is opening a branch in Pattaya, it'll be interesting to see if they come up with something entirely new or apply the same tried and true formula that has brought you so much success in Bangkok. Might also be interesting to see if full nudity is part of the equation at AngelWitch Pattaya...
