Prog, I've told you several times, and even posted on WSG the fact that the girls never saw the address or site name. I had a post up and called them over to look at it, the address bar was not visible at all. I've been posting on boards long enough and also learned from TJ girls not to let them privy to CH postings.

I wouldn't make an accusation unless I had something to back it up, check out my PMs from AC2 next time we hook up and see for yourself.

Huh? You lost me... What PMs? I see you also posted the same trip report on three separate message boards. Seems to me that's three times the opportunity for ANYONE with Internet access to read/torpedo you. :-(

On the AC2 board I have a friendly war going on with the east coast guys. They don't believe I can get a group of guys together in San Diego to party and talk about Angeles City. I am inviting all my message board brothers and any new guys to join the fun.

Here are the details:

May 3rd is the date for the first-ever “West Coast Crew” meeting. The fun starts at 9:30pm at Trophy Lounge in National City (National City Blvd., two blocks south of 8th street) then will move south to Tijuana. If you have a Philippines t-shirt or Hawaiian attire please wear it. Meeting is over when the sun comes up.

For those of you who have been wondering about what to do in Angeles City or other parts of the Philippines here's a good chance to meet many people who have seen and done it all!

All,

I contacted the Trophy Lounge about having a party there on May 3rd. They are thrilled to see us and have no problems with people brining in Still cameras. Motion video cameras are not allowed. They will also allow us to bring in a banner. Any artists in the group? The manager is considering reducing the $5 cover charge. I will get with him as the dates gets closer. Just tell the bouncer you're with the West Coast Crew and you will be treated as a king! :-)

By Progman on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 - 09:09 am:  Edit

First I want to thank Dave Fischer and his staff at Kokomoz for making this announcement possible.

We will be holding a raffle during our AC2 West Coast Bash. Tickets will be $1 each. The following prizes will be raffled off:

Two (2) free Barfines at any of the Kokomoz bars (Voodoo, Treasure Island, and Lollipops).

Two (2) $10 gift certificates redeemable at Kokomoz.

ALL proceeds of the raffle will benefit the Rotary Club Children's Center in Angeles City. Again, my thanks to the Kokomoz group for taking care of distributing the money.

This bash will be serving two purposes:
(1). It will give us the opportunity to meet other board memebers.
(2). Benefit the children of Angeles City.

There are still a few more loose ends to tie up but I am hoping (but I cannot guarantee) to be able to show a few AC videos at the bash. As most of you know - what is considered acceptable in Angeles City may not be okay in the USA. There is a meeting with the Trophy Lounge manager on Thursday to finalize all details of this event.

To my East Coast Crew friends - If you're in town come on by. :-)

I got this article off the news wire. The interesting thing is that prostitution has always been illegal in the Philippines. It will be interesting to see how it will be enforced and what the ground rules will be. Now is NOT the time to buy a bar in the RP (not that there ever was a good time to buy).

Yeah right !!
There's a snowballs chance in hell this law will ever be enforced. This is just posturing before the PI's majority Catholic population. Are elections close ahead ?? Talk tough then close your eyes and look the other way. Both PI and Thailand are well aware of where a large percentage of their tourism is based . I would not lose a whole lot of sleep over the latest of many public poses against the " flesh trade ". As you said prostitution in PI-- as well as Thailand for that matter-- has long been illegal.

Two factors to consider: President Arroyo is a woman and she has a lot of political power. The other female president, Corazon Aquino, was too inept to do anything. Stay tuned folks. This really could happen and we could see some real changes in the future... :-(

Prog,

As with everything in Prog,

As with everything in the balance between socio-economics and public policy, there are some harsh realities at work with this proposed crack down.

Sure, the government can ‘shut down’ the ‘skin trade’, but how will they supplant the lost dollars? The truth is that there is a ton of money that is derived by this industry, with much of it flowing to some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in their social structure. Let’s face it, no girl grows up wishing to be a hooker. They do it out of economic need. Some actually see it as a way out or a way ahead. Others just see it as easy money.

Between the hotels, bars, taxis and all of the other goods and services that benefit from ‘sex tourism’ in the PI, just how does Ms. Arroyo plan to balance the economic consequences of her planned crackdown? I’d guess that the families of the now un-employed girls will be none too happy about loosing the cash cow to the government. Nor will the ‘organizations’ behind the bars be pleased with loosing their livelihood.

Think back to when the government of the PI kicked the US out of Subic Bay, because they wanted ‘economic independence’. Well, they got it, and it almost destroyed the country. Social and economic upheaval followed soon there after. Why? In part, and sure it might even be a small part, but in part the unrest was a result of the loss of foreign hard currency flowing into the country.

Even if we are talking about the loss of ½ of 1% of total GNP for the PI, this kind of loss could prove significant to the long-term health of the current government.

Just a thought.

Actually, this new anti-trafficking law is exactly what it says. Anti-trafficking, meaning the transporting of people across borders for the purpose of prostitution, slavery, etc.. For years the Saudis, Japanese and others have been luring Filipinas under the auspices of a “good job” with a future. They then end up in a cat house, thousands of dollars in debt, and must work for years just to get their passport back. For gods sake, even when Lim shut down Ermita the tourists were never arrested (except the usual extortion) and that was the single largest crackdown ever in the PI. Just walk down Del-Pilar today! With that said, I personally do not think there will be any internal repercussions as the result of this law. However, as you mentioned Prog, Arroyo is powerful and something new could easily present itself in the future.

Tonight, the US Government issued a travel warning fir the Philippines, citing credible evidence of terrorist threats in multiple locations. I am unsure of the details, as I just caught in streaming across the bottom of the screen on CNN. Those of you in the Philippines, should check the advisory for your safety. We would not want to lose any of you guys!

By Locale on Saturday, March 26, 2005 - 07:26 am:  Edit

there is a State Dept site for warning travel.state.gov. Here is the statement:
PHILIPPINES
March 23, 2005

This Travel Warning is being issued to recommend that Americans consider carefully the risks of travel to the Philippines. Terrorist groups, including Jemaah Islamiyah and the Abu Sayyaf Group, and radical elements of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front are planning multiple attacks throughout the Philippines. This information has been also released by Philippine government officials and is in the Philippine media.

The Department urges Americans who choose to travel to the Philippines to observe vigilant personal security precautions; to remain aware of the continued potential for terrorist attacks against Americans, U.S. or other Western interests in the Philippines, and to register with the U.S. Embassy. The Department warns against all but essential travel throughout the country in light of a heightened threat to Westerners. There has recently been an increase in bombings by the terrorist groups in Manila, the region of Mindanao, and other areas where terrorist groups are active. Bombs have exploded in shopping malls, on public transportation, at airports and port facilities, in places of worship, and in other public areas resulting in numerous casualties, including several deaths. Bombs have also been found at places of worship. Travelers should be aware that since security has increased at official U.S. facilities, terrorists could seek softer targets. Such targets could include but are not limited to places where Americans and other Westerners live, congregate, shop or visit, including hotels, clubs, restaurants, shopping centers, identifiably Western businesses, housing compounds, transportation systems, places of worship, schools, or public recreation events.

Americans who remain in the Philippines are strongly encouraged to register with the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Manila through the State Department's travel registration website, https://travelregistration.state.gov. The U.S. Embassy is located at: 1201 Roxas Boulevard, Manila, Philippines, tel. 632-528-6300. The Consular American Citizen Services (ACS) section's fax number is 632-522-3242 and the ACS web page is at http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/rp1/wwwhmain.html.

Americans can obtain information on travel and security in the Philippines from the Department of State by calling 1-888-407-4747 within the United States; or 202-501-4444 from overseas.

Geesh, now that there's a travel advisory to the Phils, I best get back to somewhere safer, like Colombia.

All kidding aside, I certainy think the Phils requires a very heightened level of vigilence, not just for terrorist bombings but street-level crime. In February, 05, a week after I left, there was a bus bombing in Makati on a busy street that I used to travel on to get to Burgos street. I avoid public places like the malls and buses and ask my taxi/driver in Manila to take the side streets. I noticed that Manila airport, as you leave, has one of the tightest security screenings I've come across--no less than 3 separate inspections before you board. Not even Colombia has that level of security.

With that said, every monger should make a personal decision whether to go to the Phils or not. For me personally, I'm not dissuaded by travel advisories by government bureacrats from going back as I've decided the risks are overshadowed by the benefits. Moreover, I've made numerous trips to Colombia without making an appearance on CNN, and the State Dept. has had numeorus travel advisories and warnings there.

Anyway, I do spend most of my time holed up in my hotel with my girlfriends and never stay too long at any one go-go/bar. Perhaps I'll focus more on the smaller go-gos and Perimeter bars instead of the huge flashy go-gos that may seem like a tempting target. If all else fails, I'm confident my bargirls and their trike drivers will protect me.

What's the scoop on the Asian Babe Cam girls site. Are these women for real? They all want to be your boyfriend. Other than trying to get my money, are their stories true? Has anyone ever hooked up with one of these gals? Is it a total rip off? Please advise. I am new to all this.

By Khun_mor on Saturday, September 24, 2005 - 11:59 am:  Edit

Mostly bargirls , ex bargirls, or girls who are would be bargirls who have found an easier way to make their pisos. Many are recognizable from the bars in AC, and trip reports on this site.

Every girl in AC wants to be your girlfriend if you've got the money they want.
Do not believe a word of what they say - it's all BS. Why would they fall in love with some faceless dude they never met who is typing on a computer ??

By Fooledagain1 on Saturday, September 24, 2005 - 11:31 pm:  Edit

Depends what you consider a rip-off, they'll be more than happy to be your girlfriend while you visit the PI for the right price.

By Blazers on Saturday, September 24, 2005 - 11:42 pm:  Edit

Not sure about ABC girls but I have had dates with three different girls from ACM chat site and fucked all three girls for zero money. Many have never been bargirls and think you are courting them when chatting with them on yahoo. The three girls I was with had never been bargirls but their mentality is basically the same as bargirls so there really is no difference except the barfine.

By Ironeagle on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 06:51 pm:  Edit

Hamba7,

Yes you can hook up with those girls. Its simple, just read Blazers Guide to the Philippines. When finished, make your plane reservation accordingly and once your there, you will be able to hook up with many girls. Be sure to take lots of pictures and throw up a detailed trip report on this site when complete.

Speaking of which, I will be in Angeles City from October 9th to the 23rd staying at the Royal Amsterdam. This will be my second time there and was wondering if anyone wanted to do some barhopping with me.

I know it maybe strange meeting some random dude from this site, but I look at it like this. There is no one back in my real world that I can share a detailed report of the trip for obvious reasons. It sucks to go on a trip all alone and not be able to have a discussion about it afterward. Its also nice to have someone to talk to from America and there is some safety in numbers. I would rather be facing trouble with some random american than all alone.

Most of my time is going to be spent back in the room with the ladies, but during those few times that I am eating at the restaurant or having a cold beer, its nice to have some company rather than the local bargirls.

So if your interested, send a personal message on this site.

I have been a member here for about a year. I have posted many Latinas. My perusing of the photos leaves me with a deep desire to visit Thailand for sporting activities. But the PI? No way. Most of the time I open a pic from the Phillipines and I want to vote a negative number. I don't know what it is, but with the rare exceptions, they are a bunch of monkey face ugs. Sorry, personal tastes rule the roost.

And a vast majority of latina photos are of giant hogs...to each his own.

By Ironeagle on Thursday, April 27, 2006 - 04:12 pm:  Edit

Latinamonger,

I agree with you on some of the pictures posted up. There are some that are definately not entertaining. However, there is a very good reason in regards to the quality that you see.

If you have ever visited the Philippines, you would realize that most of the Americans in this place are out of shape retirees. Sometimes huge guts, white hair or no hair, etc. Many of the Filipinas at the bars are selective and wont walk off with some of these guys. They will make up an excuse such as they are on their period or hide in the back. The less selective ones (who will walk off with the older folk) tend to be the more non-attractive ones.

If your a younger, in-shape gentlemen then you tend to have the pick of the bars.

I know I will get a few flames from here about this, however, Im simply pointing out what I have heard from the ladies and what I have personally observed.

If you look through my photos, I think I did fairly well. No giant hogs. . .

By Merlin on Thursday, April 27, 2006 - 04:42 pm:  Edit

LA, as I alternate between the Phils and Latin America, I can tell you there are some real gems to be found in the Phils. I personally think there are more cuties per square inch in Colombia and Thailand, but man, some of these Philipinas can be damned pretty and sexy.
Ironically, the Phils has probably more in common w/Latin America than Asia IMO, apart from the obvious language, religion, culture, etc. the Filipina gals love to party and whup it up like in Latin America.

Ironeagle, get over yourself.

By Blazers on Thursday, April 27, 2006 - 10:42 pm:  Edit

Ironeagle, your theory is correct in Thailand as the girls are very concerned with the looks of their mongers. In AC, the girls really dont care as much. Sure, they dont want a 400lb behemoth or a senior citizen but they dont need an adonis either. I am probably the same age as yourself and in decent shape but it really doesnt matter.

As for your selection, you picked a lot of girls that have been in the business a long time and seemed to be girls that picked you instead of you picking them. As such, you picked mostly below average looking girls with decent bodies. Couple of serious hotties, no doubt...but this is AC. If I get one serious hottie on my AC trips, then I am happy.

By Ironeagle on Friday, April 28, 2006 - 01:24 pm:  Edit

Im not disappointed by my selection, I had a great time. I dont think any of the women I picked were "below average". Im proud of the women in the pictures.

Sometimes there are certain reasons why a guy picks one woman over the other. Throughout time, one learns which women would be most immediately compatible with them in the bedroom. A woman who is too slender, too young or way inexperienced has a greater chance of failure with myself.

The type of woman who has a greater chance of success with myself is someone who is not a "spinner", has some experience in the bedroom and no longer a teenager. South America would probably be a better trip location for me.

However, Im not really attracted to the thick bodies of the South Americans although some tighter bodies can be found it appears. The women in Thailand and Jakarta may not be compatible with my body type. So the best option for me appears to be the Philippines.

I am attracted to the 18 year old spinners who have never been in the business and have had only a few sexual encounters. However, you might as well stand outside the room with a stopwatch and watch how long thats going to last. My equipment is just not compatible with that type of woman. I just dont have time to break anyone in on these trips. . .
