This is what you should expect at Geylang in Singapore

Chinese Girls
Mostly from Malaysia. These girls are around for much longer periods as it is easier to get their visas done. The prices are SIN$200.00, $150.00 and $100.00. The price are go according the how long the girl has been on the job. 1st year, they will charge $200.00. 2nd year girls for $150.00 and $100.00 are the 3rd year girls and beyond. Some have experienced that Chinese girls aren't the best fucks. Overpriced and complain too much.

Malaysian Girls

You may be confused about the Chinese girls and the Malaysian Chinese girls. The Chinese girls are from mainland China and they often don't give great service. But they are hot currently because the Singapore guys find them cute. They can turn down guys. I've seen a few Indian guys being turned down.

The Malaysian Chinese girls are from Malaysia and they usually give the best service.

Prices for the chinese girls average S$100. They don't go by the 100, 150, 200 system. That's the Malaysian Chinese girls. Where the yougner, better looking girls gets more. Locals get a 20% discount(80, 120, 150). The Chinese girls usually ask for S$100 but I've heard one ask for S$1000 just to turn an Indian away.

Non Singaporeans pay S$80 for roughly 30-35 min with Thai girls while locals pay S$40 for 20 mins or S$80 for 40 mins.

I heard and read so much about Geylang that I thought I'd check it out. I actually thought it would be like a redlight district similar to TJ's Zona Norte, but the neighborhood (as is everything in Singapore) was actually a nice collection of hotels, apartments, and houses sandwiched in between. Some of these houses were govt' approved brothels, and many other girls were out streetwalking (illegally). On some of the Lorongs, streets, there were these food stall areas with excellent food (indian, Chinese, etc). I also found alot of freelancers resting up and eating at these stalls.

This area's claim to fame was the sheer diversity of the working girls -- Chinese, Chinese Malay, Thai, Indonesian, Sri Lankan, Indian, etc.
I won't go into the street by street details, which are better provided in other reports, but suffice it to say that the even numbered streets appeared to have all the action. Also, certain streets had certain nationalities, and it is well worth it to go from one Lorong to the Other just to check out the merchandise.

The pricing scheme was a bit confusing at the outset, with different nationalities charging differently. For instance, the Malaysian Chinese girls (best service) charged between S$100-S$200 depending on how good looking the girl was. The Chinese girls seemed to want S$100. There were alot of Thai girls when I was there, often asking for S$40 for 20 minutes, or S$80 for 40 minutes. There were some real cutie Thais there, some of them office workers who were in Singapore on two week visa stints.

The streets are all brothels, virtually every house on the street for about 8 streets with a couple of hour hotels intermingled, and also some chinese street girls too. there are some higher price clubs at the one end of the street and in the middle are the normal rate brothels and on the other end are the street girls and the hotels. they charge more for light skinned malaysians.

I have seen decent action here starting at 3pm, but gets going for real at 6pm until 10pm.

Actually, the Thai brothels are the ones that are like small fishbowls. The Malaysian brothels (which cost more, but the word is the service is much better) are different in that you go in, tell the person in charge which level of girl you want (defined by price; they will give the prices to you) and then one girl will show up by taxi maybe ten minutes later. If you don't like her, I believe you can ask for another.

I only know about the Thai and Malaysian brothels. There also is an extensive streetwalking scene, which I find more interesting. Generally, different streets have different nationalities working them, as noted in some of the above posts. Last time I was there, I did my first Sri Lankan; there seemed to be girls from all over.

I swung by Geylang this trip and, surprisingly, found some real cuties here. MX pointed me to the Thai fishbowl type places on Lorong 18, there must have been a half dozen fishbowls and each house had a couple of real Thai cuties mixed in with several average looking ones. Lots of Thai street walkers here as well. 80 Sing Dollars for 40 minutes. Actually got a great session considering I was coming from several wild days in Jakarta.

Towards Lorong 8-10, there were lots and lots of hottie mainland chinese girls on the streets. They were asking for 80 but I negotiated one gal down to 60. There were Indonesians and Sri Lankan girls, but none worth mentioning.

Do try the various street restaurants around Geylang as the food was really good and inexpensive.

It's been awhile so my memory about how to get to Geyland is not good. Which MRT stop do you get off at, if anyone knows? Also, if anyone has updated info about this area, or any others in Singapore including the going prices at Orchard Towers these days, it would be appreciated.

The Geylang area is mid-way between Kallang and Aljunied stations (E3 and E4 on an MRT map). You can grab a cab the rest of the way, or walk it if the weather is ok.

Hey Nastyworld. I don't have much info to add to what is already available. I ended up doing only a limited amount of mongering in Singapore, and it all was at Geylang. The place is not cost effective, but is very interesting with the smorgasboard of nationalities available. If you could pass yourself off as from Singapore, or at least Asian, you would not get surcharged, but something tells me that won't work, LOL. Otherwise, many of the prices are double what the locals pay, and this is rarely, if ever, negotiable, at least at the houses.

If you have time, you might want to check out Batam Island, although I was only there a few years ago and only for one day so I don't have much info on it. The buzz is it has seen better days, but that seems to be the buzz about most locations these days. Maybe someone else can comment on whether Batam Island is still worth checking out.

Spent last night prowling the area. Not for the budget traveler, but it was a hoot! Popping your head into brothel after brothel was certainly exciting! Most have little fishbowl type setups with between 3-10 girls. ST is name of game here and not sure if LT is even on menu.

House 41 on the corner of Westerhout Road now specializes in chinese girls and is the best for looks in Geylang at the moment. They also offer the red rope option for $20 more and worth a try. Finally have gotten to Geylang district. There is a vibrant street activity besides just the legal houses. Eventually did go with a nice looking Indo 20 y.o amazing body for S$75 including room (S$15). Terrible lay, though, certainly nothing like what I have had in the clubs in Indonesia.

Really is just pick and go. Not my personal scene, rather be in a bar/club, but certainly where you will find the lowest prices. I think these days S$50 is probably the low end.

Singapore is not a destination but if you happend to be there you have to take what is at hand.

Geylang service levels have declined over the past couple of years. In addition to the fishbowl Thais you could go in to one of the upper scale places and describe what you wanted and malay Chinese girl would drive up in a cab. Service was dfk, bbbj, rimming, cim etc. Now with mainland Chinese girls being on premise they are very mechanical and all of the extras are gone. Pretty much a body massage + covered bj and fs.

Other alternatives with better service approach 1st world prices.

There is also the ubiquitous "white guy" surcharge in Geylang, which prevents many from ever getting the price that the locals pay.

Jigetta, ya am here on business so like you say just trying to take what is at hand. I actually had a really good experience last trip with a girl at Brix, but as you say close to first world prices. I am staying right up stairs, though, so makes that convenient (and save on cover charge).

Murasaki...Thai places seemed willing to give me S$50 which is local price, not sure of the standard S$150 places. Cannot say if the S$75 is high or not because don't know what is standard from the street for a local
